Howdy all. I'll be joining the game and want to say that I'm excited to be starting. I'm really looking forward to playing with you all.

A bit about me, I've played D&D since 1978 and am currently both a DM and player on another message board. This is my first game on Roleplay Online and it's also one of my first 3rd (3.5) edition games so I'm going to ask for some patience from everyone. I'm trying to figure out the ettiquette and procedures of playing in this forum and it's certainly likely that I'll screw something up with my PC along the way.

So, let's start rolling the dice. I'm ready to dive in!

I've been rennovating parts of the house and have a funeral to attend tomorrow, so I have been away from gaming for a bit.

I picked up the hint but I understand what Mike did. Sometimes a DM "nudge" is needed to prevent a game from stalling or seeming to stall. Mature players can play their characters as being "unaware" even if the player is "aware".

Well, that was sort of Maeva's intent - to keep things quiet - but /she/ isn't a terribly socially aware sort of person.
If I'd been thinking at the time, Maeva would have gone after Vella - isn't it traditional for all the girls to head for the bathroom enmass even if only one actually has to go? - but by the time the idea occured to me, it was a little late to implement it. >.<

I'll assume the PCs had the sense to indeed leave one, then two, then another, etc. at a time, not all at once in a rush.

I did indeed just want to get the game moving for fear of player boredom.

So no biggie, and now you're all in one place, so...

Greetings to you all. Sorry for the delay, I am DM Ettercap, your newest host for your upcoming trek into the worlds weirdest wildest and most fantastic unseen sides. Before we get kicked back up, I'd like to get aquainted with who all we have here, and what your specialities are. easier than searching through tons of character sheets. I will also be reading some of the backlog adventure to catch up as well.
  My posting rate can be once a day at least, maybe more often, due to being constrained to a wheelchair most times and nothing to do. However, the occasional doctor appointment and such does come up, but I can post at least once a day.

So sit back, intoduce yourselves, and we can jump back into the adventure at hand!!

Vella is a tall, pretty girl with dark hair and blue eyes.  She typicaly wears standard traveller's clothing, though it's died bright reds, oranges, and yellows, with occasional green accents.  Under her cloak and jacket she wears a mithral shirt of extrememly high quality - though she only displays it occasionaly.

grew up in Shadowdale.  She is a farmer's daughter, but about five years ago moved into Shadowdale town, to become a novice in the service of Lathander at Morningdawn Hall.  After completing her novice training, she adventured in the Dales and Northern Cormyr for a year or so, then crossed the Dragonreach to aventure in the Vast.  While there, she had a most wonderous encounter that awed and humblled her.  Her armor is a personal gift from the Morning Lord, and she cherishes it beyond all else she has.

She just recently returned to the Dales, arriving in Scarsdale from a ship out of Procampur.

I enjoyed the group we had in Taverns, but I can't imagine what happened to lessen enthusiam in the game.

Did I take it in a direction some did not want to go in?  I left the door open for either adventure, folks.
