What the...what is this thing?

Dragon Fist then opened up with a multiple fist strike on the creature. Striking it several times along its upper chest...and then trying to finish it off with a spinning roundhouse kick...

  The great stone thing grew still, hunched down and looking furious.

  And then Dragon Fist got shot in the ass with a tazer.  And SHOCKED!!

The unexpected shock made Dragon Fist jump away from StoneWheel. He then turned to see who his assailant was...

"DF!" Hunter called out as  Lucas got shot with some kind of lazer.  Taking out his grapple gun he Luanches it at the registartion buidling hooks one end on the building he's on and uses his bow to  slide to the ground.

  When the kid keeled over again, the stone-thing moved, with surprising swiftness, shouldering past Dragon Fist to pick up the boy with surprising gentleness and place him back on it's shoulder, then growled at Dragon Fist.  In the limp kid's hand was the tazer.

"I'm fine..Hunter..." Dragon Fist replied. "There's something strange about that thing...I think that the kid's somehow connected with it..."

He did what he could to try to block out the pain, but the tazer HURT! Even through the armor.

Hunter moves next to Dragon Fist sword in hand. "We may have some trouble here I doubt anything I have is gonna do much damage to this thing. I could throw a flare down its mouth but we'd lose the files." Looking from the kid to the monster Hunter nodded. "I think you may be right, I'll distract the golem thing  you try and handle cripple boy."

Dragon Fist nods at Hunter, and waits for him to distract the golem. Once he does that, he will try and grab the boy and get him away from the golem...

Don nods drawing a flare from his belt and rushing the creatue. He attempts to get on its shoulders so he can shove the flare down its maw.

  He made it past the thing's arms, onto the shoulder opposite the limp kid, and it turned to snap at him, giving him a wide open chance!

Dragon Fist then grabbed the kid, and flew a short distance away with him.

"All right kid...I need some answers....what's your connection with that....that thing?"

As the thing snapped at him Don lit the flare and tossed it in. Too Bad for the files inside bu thtey needed to stop this thing somehow and he didn't htink arrows were gonna cut it.

  The stone-form snarled, and snatched (Unsuccessfully) for the boy, then growled, the sound of stones grinding together.  Then it screamed, a sound that made the skin crawl.

  The boy did not answer, but his slow, even breathing was interrupted by a cough, as though he were trying to vomit.

Dragon Fist was almost frantic when the boy didn't respond.

"Come on kid...help me to help you..please.."

  The stoneshape let out another cry, toppling sideways, smoke still pouring from within it, as the papers and computer hardware within caught fire.

  The kid kept coughing, retching without seeming to wake, jerking like he was having some sort of seizure.

"Damnit! This kid's in trouble...Hunter, can you douse the flame inside that thing? These two are connected more than we ever imagined..I think their life force might be connected.."

Dragon Fist then flew the kid back to the golem..

  Seeing StoneWheel in trouble, they'd finished trashing the electronics, and moved to try and take charge, coming out with guns firing.

As the goons began opening fire Hunter dropped behind the cover of the giant stone besat. When Dragon fist aasiked about he fire Hunter was very confused. "What the hell for? HE's obviously controlling it? Bad guys getting heartburn is the least of our worries!"

Dragon Fist put the boy down for the moment. There were pressing concerns..right now the immediate threat was the gun-bearing thugs.

Running as quickly as he could, he then took a defensive stance around Hunter, and attempted to deliver a backfist to one of the gunmen.

  The stone figure had grown still, and the goons were trying to herd them away from it, and the boy's figure on the ground.  Breathing shallowly, the boy didn't move.

Crouched behind the stone Figure Hutner Drew his bow again and Began firing at the crowd, back peddaling for better cover than the creatures leg.

Dragon Fist then did a corkscrew flying kick to try to assail the other gunmen firing at him and Hunter. Still keeping a wary eye on the young man.

  They rushed the two heroes, and two of the goons grabbed the body of the kid and ran, leaving their compatriots behind to keep the 'cavalry' busy.  Disappearing out the doors and into the darkness beyond.

Dragon Fist and Hunter were able to take care of the thugs in short order. Then Hunter left soon after, leaving DF with any one of assorted thugs.
"All right..who are you working for? And why were you after the registration files?"

The thugs weren't being very cooperative, so Dragon Fist let the police take them away. He had some calls to make...and a plane to catch. But there was one more errand he needed to run...
