Meg nodded, and said "Absolutely.  You go, I'll get them home then join you guys."  Then she turned, following Rodger, Brenda, Harold and John, and picking them all up with her magnetics.  Gently cradling them in a sphere of energy, she picked up the car too, floating upward with them, and the car, then heading them all for the Condominiums.

Hanging in mid-air, the terrified family had no choice (or desire) but to follow where Meg willed them. Rodger pantomimed bear ears over his head with both hands, repeating "Teddy bear. Teddy bear." several times, expressing his insecurity and fear in a humorous fashion to (hopefully) calm the boys down a little.

Left behind at the table where they'd thought they were going to eat, were three boxes of cookies. Only John's, stowed in the bag on the back of his chair, had come along in the panic to get away from danger.

Iris slipped back into Para-dise once the action was over. Looking around nervously, Iris approached the register nervously, "Um... do you still have the orders from earlier? Well, I'll take two of what I ordered and two of what Howard ordered. To go. I'm starving!"

The waitress who looks rather terrified packs up and gives Iris her orders.

Iris gave the lady the necessary payment, a fair tip, and a funny look, "You did know that you were coming to work at a restaurant where people with parahuman abilities were encouraged to eat at, right? I mean seriously, it was bound to happen sooner or later. You'll be fine. See, it's like this; people see us as freaks and an awful lot of us see ourselves as freaks, too. It isn't all that common, even for heroic types, to be welcomed anywhere because people are too frightened of you. It's even more strange for an entire establishment to welcome us. I think if you stay open, we'll likely be back. And we'll also likely feel kindly - all of us, not just the heroic ones - because you've been nice to us freaks. I appreciate it." She said hurriedly, flushing slightly in her awkward attempt to comfort the frazzled waitress. She hurried out the door afterward.

A one eyed man dressed in leather jacket with a large eye and the word Visionary on the back. Standing in the front lobby he shouts out to the people congregated there. "Attention Parahumans!" He shouted in a deep booming voice. "We are the New Parahuman Army this place is a symbol of human oppresion and segregation you have a jchoice join with us and help us destroy this symbol of the corrupt human establishment or leave, if you stand against us however we will show the same mercy we show to the human oppresors!"

Don pulls 9into the parking lot of Para-Dise and shuts off the car. Getting out of the car he goes into the back seat and begins unfastening Diantha .

  She snagged the diaper bag and asked him "Ready for the adventure of going out with little munchkins?"

"As I'll ever be." Don replied putting Diantah in the carrier and making his way towards the restaurant he stopped as he saw the mass of people flee ing the scene and the crowd gathered out front. TUrning he holds out Diantha to Nora. "COuld you hold her a second looks like somthing might be going on.

  Nora said "Of course I'll hold her.  You can't defend the two of us while holding a baby carrier!"  And cradled Diantha against her side.

Don nods stepping quickly over to the group ggathered in front of the restaurant. He stops a bit away and calls out "Hey!"

The group turns and they all get looks of rage on their faces. THe one eyed man stteps forward growling "Derring. YOu have not managed to stop the New Para Army before Derring, the same outcome will happen now We are to destroy this symbol of Human Oppresion and theres nothing you can do about it."

Hunter strieds forward until he is mere inches away from the one eyed man. "i'm going to give you a chance here, as I don't want ot have to get rough with you in front of my daughter. You can walk away and everything will be hunky dory or else I'm going to have to hurt you."

The man's eye begins to glow. "heres what I think about your-"

Hunters hand shootsout like a blur hitting Visionary in the chin with an open palmed strke. The man's head falls backwards and a blast comes out of his eye hitting only sky. As the man is stumbling backward Hunter ducks down snapping a leg out annd tripping the man. As ol' one eye falls smashing his head on the ground Don stands up and looks to the men who were standing by "you want some?"

It was her first night back in Weston City and Kira had thought going to Para-Dise would be fun. She had been there before but not since being "outed" as something more than just a drop dead gorgeous supermodel. Well, maybe not super but it paid the bills. It wasn't easily getting out of the old Amberson family home. Her great-grandfather wanted to fire up the grill but she talked him into saving that for a weekend afternoon. Eventually Kira was able to slip into that new peach tube dress she had bought back in LA and catch a cab downtown.

But seeing the crowd gathered in front of the restaurant made it clear things weren't going as planned. It looked like drama and Kira hated drama. OK, other people's drama. She got out of the cab and did her best at trying to storm over to the crowd without her skirt riding up. Just as she reached them, one man slugged another to the ground.

"OK, so like some of us wanna eat here. I turned down Pappy Jack's BBQ to come to this place and if you all ruin my night I'm gonna be like sooooo upset."

A bit away from the restaraunt the crowd was watching a single man face against five others all dressed in biker leathers ONe of them stand sup from a prone positon a large man with one eye, He raoras his eye glows and he lets loose a balast form his single eye.

Don rolls out of the way of the blast russhing forward again at Visionary tensing his leg Muscles Hunter leaps through the air legs outstretched in a  jump kick.

As the bolt of energy blazes by, Kira's jaw drops.

"OMG! How rude!"

Kira isn't about to let some Mad Max rejects ruin her evening. She kicks off her shoes, catching them in the air and then throwing them with great speed and accuracy at two of the hooligans.

Two of the goons get hit straight in  the face and fall to the ground unconcious. Of the two remaining one grows claws and slashes at Hunter The other looks to the crowd for whomever knocked out his teammates. The leader hung back looking for an opportunity to blast Hunter into oblivion.

With two down, Kira decides that the guy in dire need of a manicure is next on her list. She rushes towards him on bare feet then leaps into the air for a flying knee, temporarily forgetting about the limitations of her outfit's hemline.

Kira ploughed into the clawed man and both tumble to the ground. With his teammate out of the way the one eyed man sends a blast at Hunter.

Hunter narrowly ducked the blast and rushed the man Tackling him to the ground/

Kira doesn't want to give those claws a chance to mess up her outfit so she aims some rapid strikes to the thug's head.

"Don't! Run! With! Sharp! Objects!"

The thug stays down after the fourth punch. The last remaining thug runs off as the one eyed man tries to throw Hunter off.
