And so it was. Maverick and Liberty had more or less been unofficially "adopted" by Emerald and the others. Though Emmy for the most part. Still, May was more than happy to act as an "Aunt May"... Maverick is not changing his name to Peter.

May is curled up by the fire, enjoying the fact that metal soaks up and keeps heat. She tends to do this when she can so she will have a nice, steady source of heat in her armor. The kobold fighter sits up, yawning and stretching before seeming to suddenly be wide awake. Bright smile, wide open eyes and attentive look.

A lovely woman enters, a book in hand.  She's dressed like a wizard, with a shimmering robe.  She peeks over her book to smile at the heroes present then approaches the board to investigate it.

  Terdisas is reading in a chair by the fire...  It's is not a good comparison to narratively comment that May's adorable like a big cuddly dog, because May is a person <.< "We really should at lest get you a large pillow or something so at least you are not on the hard floor when you rest." Terdisas comments to May as she wakes up.

  He looks over to the latest arrival,  and nods in greeting to the smiling lady.  "Welcome, I hope you find the guild, if not helpful, then at least a pleasant stay."

May looks Gale's way and says, "Oooo... pwetty..." as she seems mesmerized for a moment before noticing what Ter said. "Huh? Oh! Pff... thanks. If it's a tough pillow, that works. Dunno if you knew, but us draconic types tend to have a preference for tough!" she then looks at Gale. "Your hair is so hypnotizing, Ma'am! Is that magic? Or natural?"

Though in this very setting, there were certain someones who believed Callie's hair was actual gold.

Gale gives a polite bow that suggests possible noble heritage.

"Such a warm welcome," she answers, "Thank you.  Both of you.  My hair is natural this way.  Now this is magic."

She her wink makes a jingle sound, and her hair begins to sparkle like a rainbow fairy had recently passed over her.

"You've lovely hair yourself, miss."

  "I feel Pleasant greetings should be available when they can be given.  If only to make up for all the times they are not."  Superbird looks over to May "Chirp, I think a goldweave pillow with residuum stuffing is out of price range, sorry."

May looks at Superbird. "Awww, nuts. Here I was hoping I could have something to match the astral diamond statue of myself."

"Hey Terdisas. Catch!" she tosses a jerky at him. "Chew on that and hopefully, it'll help make up for the times people didn't give you free snacks."

She then looks at Gale and giggles. "That's neat. And thanks! May name's May, by the way. So what kind of magic user are ya?"

"Gale," Gale introduces in reply to May's introduction with a nod-bow, "I'm a wizard.  Though I suppose my primary interest is in books.  So I'm more a scholar who happens to know some wizardry."

She takes a seat across from May.

"So what is your profession?"
