Re: Ep 15 The Wonderful Witch of Arkham Scene 6

Susan made it to her SUV.   She looked a little bedraggled, and somewhat crazed.
Takng a few breaths to steady herself, she shook her head.
"I can't....can't live like this.....I'm not who I'm supposed to be....I'm changing into something even worse than what I am now.......I don't want HER life!!!!""

She looked up, seemingly at the heavens.
"DO YOU HEAR ME!!!  I DON'T WANT YOUR LIFE!!!"

She roughly and clumsily climbed into the vehicle, acting almost drunk in her emotionally over wrought state, and started the car to drive off.

Re: Ep 15 The Wonderful Witch of Arkham Scene 6

There is a rumble of thunder in response to her cry to the heavens. Soon after getting into her SUV the light patter of rain hitting the windshield could be heard.

Susan scowled and rolled her eyes, wiping away her own tears as she wiped her windshield clean of rain.
"...raining....of COURSE it's raining....why WOULDN'T it start raining?.....it's not like I'm already having a BAD DAY or anything......"

She pulled away, driving towards the police station, not sure where else to go to turn herself in.

Re: Ep 15 The Wonderful Witch of Arkham Scene 6

Susan took off on the slick roads heading away from her mansion.
Her condition and the rain showed the vehicle swerving as she made her way.

17:04, Today: Watchtower rolled 4 using 2d6. Trouble Pool.
Total of 4 for the rainy slick conditions and Susans state of mind.

Susan spun around, glaring at the back seat in an obvious mix of fear and anger.    She took a few breaths to calm herself, then spoke in a tight, condescending voice.
"Riiiiight......Okay, then, I'm not sure if there's someone in my back seat or if I'm just going crazier than I thought, but I'm going in there to turn myself in.   If you want to stop me, now's the time to do it."

She counted to 10 in her mind, then went to exit the car.

She lets out a small shriek of surprised terror at the sound of the doors locking, then scrambled to try to unlock the doors.

A cultured female voice came from the back seat, "Now, now you were the one who said to stop you, and now your all surprised. Really my dear being a witch requires being made of sterner stuff."

Susan realized the woman was right, but wasn't in the mood to be corrected.   She scowled and sighed with annoyance.
"Fine....Whatever.   What business is this of yours anyway? "

"Well my dear, as you are a witch such as it is even though your coven is pretty small. I wanted to remind you that you put her life at risk too. You prepared to make life harder for all the witches that call Arkham home ?"

She could almost feel the smile in the womans words, "What do you think would happen if you went in there hmmm ? Do you think they wouldn't torture information about you and your friends out of you ? They have had years of experience in breaking people the vile lot that they are."

Re: Ep 15 The Wonderful Witch of Arkham Scene 6

Susan's beautiful dark eyes widened, as she pictured Zoey, Rory, and even Allura being dragged into the station.   Her eyes filled with tears and she slumped against her seat.
"Dammit.....I can't even do THIS right!!!  I should just jump off a bridge and get this farce over with!!!'"

"My you do like being overly dramatic don't you. I just wanted to remind you that's all, after all you may be young but full of potential and promise. I would hate to see all that go to waste. If you did jump off a bridge just think how that would impact your mother when she comes out of her coma ?"

"Well, I do have places to be young one, but think before you act. Trust me it saves a lot of heartbreak."

The woman waves with her fingers at Susan in the rear view mirror then Susan feels a small burst of magic.
