Everyone is gathered together at the lunch line.

Zoey stood in line for lunch in her own little world, a disgusted look on her face as the weekly meatloaf was plopped on her tray with a squishy sound.  "Ugh.  Why aren't I a vegetarian?"

She moved down the line and filled the rest of her tray with salad and a bottle of water, then grabbed a table near an open window away from the 'normal' population of students.  Her eyes scanned the lunchroom, faces of familiar classmates were everywhere and still she felt like she was surrounded by strangers.

Susan walked into the room, with the trendy bag in which she kept her lunch, made by her parents' chef.   She looked at the lunch line with something that almost looked like nostalgia, then turned to see Zoey.  She winced, then walked over towards her friend.
"Um...Hello, Zoey.  May I join you?"
Her tone implied that she expected Zoey to turn her away, and would have good reason for doing so.

Zoey looked up from her salad to see Susan and nodded. "Of course Susan, sit.  How you doing?" She gave the other girl a small smile and moved the lettuce around with her fork.

Susan sat, and began unloading her grilled chicken sandwich with gourmet cheeses, and endive salad with exotic fruits as a dessert.   She wasn't sure if she was envious or grateful as she looked at the institutionalized meal Zoey had.
"Thank you, Zoey...I wanted to apologize for how I've been acting.   Things are so...confusing lately.  I think I need an...um..'outside tutor' and am still trying to find one.  I have an 'encounter' when I drove off the other day, but haven't found anyone since."

Allura looked at the meatloaf if you could call it that. She jabbed it with her fork as if it might fight back.  "Ughhhh I swear the meals they give us are against the Geneva Convention."

She looked up, "Hi Susan."

Zoey shook her head, "It's all right Suze. I think I can understand a little bit about confusion."

She looked around and lowered her voice, "What do you mean an 'encounter'?  Like a ghost or something?  You know I'll help you in any way I can, if you want.  Im not going to push you let me, but I want you to know whatever you're going through, you've got your friends to help you through it."  Zoe blushed as she heard her own words.

Smiling a bit at Allura, and feeling guilty that her mother forbade her bring food for her friends, Susan shrugged and casually looked around to make sure they weren't being listened to.
"I went to the police station to turn myself in, and some...person...was in my car.  They told me not to do it, since I'd be tortured into talking about all of you.  I was too startled at the time, but now I wonder if that person was my key to learning the control to keep from hurting anyone."

"Im glad you listened to them anyway.  Maybe they are the key, the one you need to find. Can you do a locator spell again, like you did when we were looking for Rory?"

Susan blinked in confusion for a moment.
"I....I'm not sure.  I remember going to his house to try to find him but....everything else is kind of...fuzzy...."
She hadn't really thought about that night since coming to the next day, being yelled at by her parents...and winced at the memory.

"Oh.  What do you need to find them? Sorry, you probably don't know that yet huh?  Maybe you and Allura can work together in that department."

"I am up for it, who we tracking down Susan, what or who are they ?"

Susan sighed, poking at her fancy salad.
"I wish I knew more.  Magic in...my family...has been a secret thing, passed down, more or less successfully, between mother and daughter, for generations.  We've never had a 'coven', so we've never bothered to find one.  That has to change,  guess. "

"What about your grandmother?  I remember she was scary cool, but a ghost.  Could, or would she help you find a coven?"

"Coven ? We have never really needed one. Besides you know how dangerous the big time witches are rumored to be. Do you really want to mess around with that ?" She looked to Susan with concern.

Zoey looked from Allura to Susan with a confused look on her face. "I just want to get things back the way they were when we got back from Kansas and Pluto."

Susan sighed at Allura's warning.
"I've heard that they're dangerous, but that's what people say about US, too.  Besides, it's too dangerous not to find them.  I feel  like I'm a walking timebomb.  And Bubbe Kappy never needed, or wanted, a coven either.  The old bat was always too stubborn and anti social for that."

She looked up at Zoey in confusion.
"Kansas??  Pluto???   What in the world are you talking about??"

"Yeah you know, giant insects had Rory and farm boy, and we all saved the day. How could you forget Pluto of all places ?"

Zoey looked at Susan closely, trying to see if she was kidding with her or not.  "You don't remember?  Really?  You went to find Rory, disappeared too and you and Rory were..."  She stopped mid sentence suddenly remembering where they were.

"We cant talk here, you know that.  Im starting to feel like an animal backed into a corner.  Im freaking out inside.  Something is seriously wrong with Arkham and the whole world.  I've never been this afraid of something before.  Only once actually." She bit her lip and frowned.

Zoey looked at Allura and smiled. "Im glad you remember too.  Does Hal?  He was pretty cool back there too.  Have you decided to give him a chance?"

"Hal, I don't know haven't gotten to talk to him much since that happened." Allura looks around for him in the cafeteria.

Zoey glanced around the lunch room for Sam, a hopeful smile on her lips.  "Hal's a great guy and he likes you.  It wouldn't hurt to give it a shot would it?"

Susan shook her head.
"What?  Are you kidding?!?   I wouldn't forget going to Pluto.  But that makes no sense, how would we even GET there..."
She was keeping her voice down, but it was hard not to blurt things out loudly.  She seemed confused, and it was obvious to the audience that she was suddenly unsure of herself.
