Alright Kazan, let's do this. Small Boxed-in, standard everything else?
I also have a general question about energy resistance. These are a few rules that I was able to find.
quote:
This resistance does not stack with the resistance that a spell might provide.

quote:
The important aspect of bonus types is that two bonuses of the same type don't generally stack.

quote:
If a creature has damage reduction from more than one source, the two forms of damage reduction do not stack. Instead, the creature gets the benefit of the best damage reduction in a given situation.

I don't really consider energy resistance as a "bonus" per say, but I've heard this phrase used in many contexts so I mentioned it. My question is this: if I have energy resistance from an extraordinary source and energy resistance from a supernatural source, would they stack? To me, it seems like they would. First, they are not from the same source. And also because supernatural energy resistance isn't from a spell.
I know DR from multiple sources doesn't stack (generally) and energy resistance is similar. But, the rules for both differ in this respect. DR specifically calls out that "two forms do damage reduction do not stack." Energy resistance just mentions that it doesn't stack with energy resistance from a spell. Any thoughts or additional rules would be helpful. Thanks
