Okay it looks like we don't have a thief so I think I'll keep Miralla as a Magic User/Thief after all. I'll explore the Cleric option some other time.

Cleric thief can be wild! I've done it table-top a time or two. Then again, I love playing clerics anyway...

Half Elves can't do that. :(

Re: OOC: Table Talk 4

posting from phone. i think for our game we will keep weapon specialization the province of single class fighters. that is their edge.

Re: OOC: Table Talk 4

Okay, the weapon specialization ruling might change things. Ingvar, are you reconsidering your multiclass choice, and if so will you stick with cleric or fighter? I will happily stick with F/MU, as elves get an attack bonus with bows and long swords anyway, but if we lose the cleric and if Miralla doesn't take it, I will strongly consider it.

We haven't heard from Norion yet, I think. You still with us?

Re: OOC: Table Talk 4

for double specialization lets save that option for fighters at higher level. like 5th level.

Re: OOC: Table Talk 4

I think we should have at least a thief and a cleric. I'll happily be the cleric if Ingngvar has reconsidered, though that would mean we'd need a thief.

I'll wait to hear from Ingvar, but I'm happy to change to a fighter/thief if needed to fill the niche.

Re: OOC: Table Talk 4

Still here, still a ghast

Like Rath said, kinda hard to get motivated, I admire the plan and pluck of this group though

If I do make up a character, would prefer cleric to thief if that is what is lacking, but don't hold it up for me, still licking my wounds a bit, well, being a ghast now, I guess I'm licking everyone's wounds....yuk

Which would mean we'd need a Magic-User. ;)

Miralla, I thought you were thinking cleric/MU.

Heck, we could all be triple-class!

Its funny - not like we've had a cleric for three years, or a magic user for that matter, and now we're worrying about party balance! ;-)

In fairness we have had a full time druid. ;)

Clerics are fun, and yes they fill an important niche.

True.

Okay I'll retool Miralla as a single class Cleric then.

Okay, looks we do have our cleric complement then, heh.

Miralla will stay as a Magic User/Thief. Final decision.

Re: OOC: Table Talk 4

To be honest, without weapon specialisation the multiclass including a fighter is pointless. I get a slightly better THACO and a tiny amount of extra HP, but as the cost of 50% slower level advancement.

I kinda liked Ingvar as he was and don't want to change him, so I think I might ditch him altogether and keep him for another game in the future if that is okay.

As others want clerics I will look at another option completely - watch this space. I won't play a cleric as others want to go that route.

Okay, just rerolled the dice. Me likey!!!

07:11, Today: Inas Eoinsson rolled 17 using 4d6, dropping the lowest dice only with rolls of 5,6,2,6. New PC stats.
07:11, Today: Inas Eoinsson rolled 12 using 4d6, dropping the lowest dice only with rolls of 1,4,2,6. New PC stats.
07:11, Today: Inas Eoinsson rolled 11 using 4d6, dropping the lowest dice only with rolls of 2,5,4,2. New PC stats.
07:10, Today: Inas Eoinsson rolled 16 using 4d6, dropping the lowest dice only with rolls of 4,6,2,6. New PC stats.
07:10, Today: Inas Eoinsson rolled 13 using 4d6, dropping the lowest dice only with rolls of 5,3,2,5. New PC stats.
07:10, Today: Inas Eoinsson rolled 18 using 4d6, dropping the lowest dice only with rolls of 6,6,3,6. New PC stats.

Will go with my first thought of something else I haven't played here on rpol, a straight up half-Orc Fighter.

Shane, when you get the chance can you create a new PC with char sheet for me, name TBC. I will then populate it.

Question on STR. As a half-Orc I get +1 STR. If I put my 18 in STR does that mean I go auto up to 19, or do I roll the d100 as a fighter and then add 0.1 to the result?
