"I don't keep track of uvver lass's families." Questa said stiffly.

Sileas glared again and headed outside.

Lek's eyes were red as he stomped through the keep. He had to do something. Where was Millie? Millie could help him think of something.

Millie reached the gates of the keep and started to run through.

After Green finished treating Wulfsen for his injuries, Wulfsen had a couple things to say to him.

"I want it understood that Sileas Spenser is a lady." Wulfsen told him. "If any of my men speak of her or treat her as anything less than a lady they will find themselves no longer in my service. Is that understood?"

Green flinched and nodded.

"Good. Spread the word to the others." WUlfsen said, then tenderly walked out of the room to go looking for Sileas.

Lek saw Millie running out of the gates. He put on speed and caught up with her ust outside the keep. "Millie- where are you going?"

Millie froze, the sudden stop nearly sending her into a tumble. "I don't know. Maybe Portside. Maybe the convent. I don't know." She bit her lower lip. She couldn't tell Lek how she was feeling.

"You're leaving?" Lek couldn't believe it. "Now?"

"I don't know what I want to do!" Millie exclaimed. "I'm confused and hurting and can't find any peace."

"I can't either." Lek burst into tears. Things were already unbearable, but having Millie leave now would be too much. "I need you."

"I need you too. I was just running blindly. It's all just too much," Millie cried.

Lek threw his arms around his sister.

Millie wrapped her arms around Lek and hugged him.

Lek cried on Millie's shoulder. "Whatever we do, we gotta do it together." Lek said.

"Let's take Mama and leave. Away from all the pain and hurt. All of the loss."

"We can't leave Papa to die!" Tears began streaming again. "Let's take Ila and get a boat- she has to know where he is."

Millie stepped out of their embrace. "I can't."

"Millie, it's Papa. We can't leave him to die." Lek said.

"I don't want him to die but...I don't think I can face him," she admitted.

"It will be Papa- our real Papa." Lek said. "Remember how it used to be? He'd protect us from anything."

"I know that. It's hard to explain because you won't understand it. I fear what I will see when I look at him is him raising his hand to hit me. And I don't want to have to explain it to him because it will hurt him."

"Maybe you won't be scared when you finally see him." Lek said. "The fake Papa never felt right, even before he hit you."

"I don't know that it's worth risking it." Millie sighed. "I still have nightmares about it. It's too close to the surface."

"Millie, you gotta face it sometime." Lek said.

"Not at the cost of Papa's heart. And after all this time on an island? He's not going to be in any sort of mental condition to deal with it."
