Deepest apologies for my silence.  I've been sick, and am now dealing with a mild case of pneumonia (thanks to my hyperviolent coughing, which apparently caused some small damage to one lung).

It's not serious, so please don't worry, but this is the first day I've really had any kind of motivation to do anything for about a week.  :D

Hey folks. My next couple of months include the following:

-me starting a new job
-my fiancee starting a new job
-moving in May
-getting married in July

And, just because I'm not busy enough, my son and my ex-wife are fighting and he's having a really hard time.

So I'm a little pressed for free time until, like, August. I'll be trying to keep up, but if I go dark for a bit here and there, I haven't forgotten about you and I'm not gone forever.

And to be entirely honest (whisper down a well at midnight, as it were), even the kid and his mother fighting is, long-term, a "good" thing. She's not a very good person, and not a very good influence, and not a good advocate for his well-being with school and other places where advocacy is required.

The BEST thing would be for her to change her ways, but barring that unlikely occurrence, what has happened (he's gotten upset enough at her to decide to stay with us full-time for a while) will be good for him.

It's just hard for him. It's some heavy stuff for a 15 year old.
