2: Harrier Assessment

It was obvious just from walking the ship that some things needed repair, but mostly it was a cosmetic thing. Many of the interior features were a hodgepodge of styles, systems and technology. Apparently, when something wore out or got damaged, it had been replaced with whatever could be found quickly. Just because the shipyard at the Floating Palace could have repaired the ship to look like new doesn't mean that the ship had ever made it back there to get those repairs.

The first problem is that no one actually knows what the ship's specifications are.

Cyrus does know that there was a slight problem with both the maneuver drive (due to his piloting) and the jump drive (due to his astrogation). He really didn't have an opportunity to assess either of those things, though.

Unless you are from a TL15 background (which does not include Drinax), there's a -1 DM to all skill checks to assess and evaluate a ship's system.
