There were the other 2 Verians in the flight Fitz was on one, but not connecting solidly.  The other heading for the shuttles.  Thinking quickly Nikki gunned her thrusters like she did the other day, they seemed to got grasp the game of 'Chicken'.  She ran down the loose one first. Practically getting close enough to ram it, she banked quickly as she fired.  The Verian seemed to be weaving like a drunken sailor in a shake shack.  Nikki fired as she banked but missed on that wild shot.  She fired again and watched her next shot rip away most of the cockpit area, taking the Verian pilot with it. No cockpit, dead pilot, No power, all good.  Now it was a multi ton piece of black space industrial art.  "Fitz...you good?" she asked as she turned to assist.

  Lt Hirr's  tail twitched back and  forth   as she gave a  Cat-like  grin in her head gear,..you follow..down ropes, like trainign..or like  being in  jungle or  forest.. then.. we   find Verians!

 the   Cats  Bounded out the ram  like   odd kangaroos    and     Jumped into  there hole ..   Hirr  was the last of the Cats to go  down , she waved the Gava  forwards. and disappeared .

 Going  through hole and landing in the room, the door opened     as Felrites  waved  to Zob.

 ther crates  looked  like   food  and water... Lt Hirr  pointed to them,This be  good place  for   us to  go in and out.. stack  crates  like  steps

  Spade  troops  were sliding  down.. LArry  Just landed , like a small  fighter  plane in his  armor.

 Nifty   had his weapon ready  and followed  along the  wall.. Jax      went up the other  wall but  stopped  to   make sure others  were coming.

 Supe   Hoden and Minnet   were next...  then the other s   poored in..Lirg    had his snipoer  rifle read  for  Now.. he looked  down the   passage to the Stern.....there is no movemnet   down that way yet..

When the burners cut through and the assault team started to head on through the breach holes, she instructed her team to head on inside, "Lets get inside team!" with that she carefully maneuvered her mech down the breach hole after doing that she began to set up a defensive perimeter near the breach point.

Jug nodded and the Gava followed suit.  She made sure that the morrow beacon was on to alert the others that they were inside the ship.  The made ready with their rifles.  Jug looked for any security devices quickly, just in case.

  Fitz    said ,Teah , yeah..Good shooting... keep liooking  for targets ..the shuttles  are on the spine...

  The other  two    vrian went  after  Lizzy and Chatty  Smith.. Chtty was  tossing her    mantis around  , like a leaf in the wind  Leading the Verian  on a deadly  game of tag...

  Harry , Higgins  and Kat saw  a 'V' of    Demonic  fighters   trying to  cut across  space..seemingly, on a vector to Shadow's   spot  in the  maelstrom .

Seeing both teams come out the doors he was going to go check that would change his plan of action, "Ill check it out then, keep me covered" he had the 60 caliber ready to fire as he made his way down the passage to the Stern.

 Lizzy would try to loose the fighter behind her by flying right at and trying to shoot other fighters so the fighter chasing her would have to dodge them, and she would have all of her turns as last second as she could, but she will do doing 3 second bursts of her hard ammo to chew these suckers up. She would work with Chatty to get these guys on are asses dead, and turn the game of tag as deadly for them as they could. She would still keep her eye on the shuttles as she was flying for her life and killing bad guys.

   Garrat had his rifle up.  single fire and scope in place.  He crouch-stepped a couple of paces behind Zob on the opposite side as Nifty giving the sniper open view.  He was in a position to take his own potshots or support Zob in a more brutal action.

Rolling her eyes in despair at the sound of Higgins gagging closely followed by Kat's warning for him not to throw up in his helmet, Harry would lead her trio of fighters in search of fresh prey which on this occasion would take the form of a group of Demon fighters in a V formation heading straight for Shadow "Heads up Shadow you have bogey's heading in on your port side" she warned as she moved to intercept them "Ok guys same trick as last time, Kat it's your turn to do the screw, Higgins; I'll go high you go low and remember three second bursts" she said as the three of them streaked across the Black towards the Demon fighters, with Harry hoping that they were too fixated on taking out Shadow to notice her.

"Fitz...new bogeys joining the game.  not Verian novas.  Looks like they want to give Shadow thier attention.  Playing stand by as needed" she knew it could be a decoy to draw them away from the shuttles.  Looked like Harry and Kat were going in to aid Shadows flight, not that they needed help.  Still, be interesting to see if any got through they'd come in like the cavalry of old.  Hermes protects Hermes.

  Fitz   chuckles...they are coming along way to die... should have felw the other  way!

 Foster   came on the   COMs,  4  shuttles  from  the   ship the Hermes  killed  launched  a sucide  attack on the hermes... one slammed into the  stern.. I got  one.. the other  two    crash landed on the  Hanger Dec... there were some  explosions.. looks like they are   clearing the Dec.

 Shadow  frowned.....very one  ok  over there....

 Hack   shrugged  as he answered,Verians  are dead... we lost soem ground  crew.. beth Got  nicked and  lost a Heavy pusle team. we're  still open for Business..

  Shadow looked to the Demons......Harry? if you got them..I got some more shuttles   headed to the Hermes..

  Lizzy     send  rounds   into the     Nova  chasing  Chatty  smith.. ,  with all the Pusle   rounds   goign off. not one seem to hit the    darting   young pilot .. Lizzy was  rewarded  byt   a solid   hit  to the   nose , setting off the    Power cell  for  the Nova's  pusle  canon  CHatty  in turn   whipped  around   to blast the   one chasing   Lizzy...

   Steele   came on the COMs...LC!.. he-la  and the cats   are chasing dwon   a verian  ship that   running , one of the tranportbases is following them.... we  got a whole Bunch  of fighters  and Shuttles  headed to the   Hermes

 ..Just the way  The Admiral Likes it... alright..  everyone  but the Cats  and  G flight    head up  to  the Hermes..   its   time to pretend its  the Alamo...

 Lizzy was happy she got Chatty's fighter and she got the one chasing her. " Thanks Chatty lets go kick some ass ready?" Then LC said head to the Hermes fighters and shuttles going in, she says," Oh hell no, no more shuttles are going to get there, lets go Chatty."

 Lizzy would go balls to the wal to take out as many shuttles as she could see, while keeping an eye out for Novas, she was not going to let any more Verians invade her home. Plus Izzy and Haley where there no way, Lizzy go hunt down as many shuttles she could and dodge the fighters.

  Shadow  held positions, he took a Glance at the demons.. he  mad sure  they  could see the 19 on his tail fin..

  Gather  'round  Boys   and Girls.. HArry?  go have  fun... .. make a perimeter   let them come to us...

 his eyes  watch his command  screen... Karl and Mitch  chasing the   two escaping  ships.. He-la and the cats  running down another one

Henry followed the Felrites. He appreciated the steps they'd made, never mind Mila. He looked around, alert and ready to fire if needs be.

Jug split the Gava into 3 groups.  Her by herself but near by and each 'sergeant taking a group to her left and the other right  and carefully they approached the door to stwp out.  Jug was immediately expecting a fire fight.  She made sure they were all ready for it.  In as quiet a voice as she could make, yet still be heard she said to a Felrite next to her "We go now...not get trapped in room" she urged.

Melia spilled out With the others, just a bit behind Zob and Garrat staying to the side to allow lines of sight for the sniper. She held back entering with the main body of the group.

When Zob pushed down the passage she maintained spacing putting her halfway between Zob and the front of the boarding party ready to provide covering fire if they were pushed back.

"Roger that LC...well you heard him, form a perimeter and shoot anything dumb enough to get too close" Harry said through her comms with a smile as she throttled back on her power and broke off the interception course she'd been on, although she would continue to keep her little flight heading in Shadow's general direction so as to offer support.

 Lizzy would try and hunt down any shuttles but with the order to set a perimeter, Lizzy would take up a position with her flight and Nikki her wingmate. Then she would say," In position LC, ready to send this bastards to the 9 Hells Hermes style." She will keep her sensors looking and her eyes peeled for any shuttles or fighters that try and get to the Hermes, not on her watch Lizzy thought.

Nikki formed up in the picket line ready to take on any and all challengers.  she left her own com on and sang her own tune, mostly the chorus.

As she and the other fighters from the Hermes formed a picket line Harry would watch with mounting concern as the Verian fighters organised themselves with them seemingly having decided to take the impudent humans more seriously "Um Shadow there's a lot of Verian fighters over there...please tell me you have some kind of a plan" she asked as it became increasingly obvious that were heavily out numbered "...I mean I'm awesome and all but I've only got so many bullets this cannon of mine" she said tapping her fingers against the control panel in time with the music as she waited to see who would blink first.

 When Shadow gave the Let's Go, Lizzy dove at the incoming Verian fighters and shuttles, Lizzy would go with Nikki, and as soon as a shuttle was in sight she would hit it with 3 second bursts of hard ammo, then move on. Like LC said to linger cripple them then move on, she also watched out for fighters and always made sure her flight mates where good to go as well. It was a lot to keep track of, that is why she studied hard and her mind was sharp as well. Lizzy said," Okay Nikki lets get these fucking bastards they are not getting to out home."

 With what the LC said, the Hermes was her only home now she would fight with every once of her skill and instinct and take out the shuttles as fast as she could, hitting one another of her flight hit to help was good as well. Lizzy kept focused but thinking of Haley, and Izzy made her fight like a woman possessed but still in control a very deadly combination, she was not going to let any shuttles get through no matter what.

"Roger that LC, three dead Demons coming up" Harry replied with a sadistic grin, she just hoped that Shadow was right about those Verians having no stomach for a fight. As the order to attack was given Harry would begin to dive towards the Verians with the rest of their meagre group of fighters "Kat, Higgins when I say so we're going to break off and go for those Demons, other than me they're the most dangerous thing out here so they have to go understood?" she said as her Mantis accelerated, waiting until they were roughly parallel with them before making her move "ok let's hit them!" she shouted whipping her fighter round and heading straight for them, Heavy Pulse cannons blazing as she hit them with the screw before performing a split S and engaging them with 37mm cannons.

Zob reached the first intersection on his path to the Stern end double doors and looked down both ways, "A lot of intersections here... take a partner with you and check down each hall and report back then will move up to the next one until we reach that double door... "
