This sounds unlikely to be a good idea, but an impulse wants me to drink it. Since I do have high resilience, and Will it might not kill me? Heh, Of Course the fact that I'm thinking like this, shows a real bad personal survival skill.

Knowledge of the Gods, as to their abilities and what they can do, is pretty much what is in the Game Mechanics. The strengths/weaknesses of such things (such as magic etc etc) will be discovered as you test your powers. As well, other things will be discovered through exploration etc

The goal of the game is not to have a set of rules that is to stringent, thus letting the flow of a free-form type of game happen. For examples, Gods always strike before monsters (when facing another God, then its finesses vs finesse to decide who strikes first).

It will also allow you to try things. Some will work, others won't.

But for your GODs knowledge, figure the Game Mechanics as being what they know they CAN do, or can have happen to them.

Wait, have to ask here. Do any of you have people that worship another god already? Not sure if it's an accident, or it's happening to everyone.

My people seem about on top of things as Elios himself. So, nope, they're still figuring out what to eat let alone what to worship. Seems your little corner of existence has a bit longer history!

Semeion is apparently being worshiped on my plane. Again not sure if it's a mistake, or it's an actual thing, so needed to ask here. See, if it's happening elsewhere, and they do have homes. Also, need to change things since I first showed up in general, then my plane. Since game time = real time. So, I assumed I showed up in general in the actual plane, and then my home plane, but that wasn't the case, and instead there's a temporal paradox at play. Sorry about that. Just a bit of confusion, apprehension, and wonder at play.

Sounds like it was probably a copy-paste error, I can't imagine we have other PC gods bleeding into our realms yet, NPCs maybe, but I'd be pretty surprised by the former.

I mean I've done it accidentally with yepa, so I understand a copy paste error, but I know if it's a copy paste error it's best to draw attention to it, and if not. Then, it just means that I'll have to deal with Semeion in general, and seek to change my people's belief structure as a first priority. Reloaded the page he fixed it, so it was definitely a copy paste error. Thanks overlord.

Was a copy paste error as the beginning of your threads are the same (you appear etc) except for the portal description which can vary for some.

Asim: In future, if worried about this, simply ask me in private.

As for your start up, like I said in private when I added you, just need to complete adding all your threads to the campaign as I added you in so you can start interacting on public plain. You would have appeared on your own realm first and then paradoxes to Calmorin.

Sorry, I do need to correct my last post however. It was presuming something I shouldn't have, and your absolutely correct namely I need to fix this, and I'll do so in the future. Sorry again, for alerting the other players of this, I simply thought at the time the best way to see if it was an error, or not was to see if a similar instance had happened with someone previously. Honestly, I didn't really mind too much that they were worshiping you, In fact that sort of dynamic would be great. If a god had to react to another god converting their own race. It would cause some great rp moments. This being said, I doubted such a matter would happen to only one god, so I decided to inquire, and see what everyone else was dealing with.

I'm not a jealous goddess. If the Drakkin want to worship you alongside me...well, that's how pantheons in polytheistic societies work, right?

Honestly, In polytheistic societies, they tended to worship one god, more than others, and that caused frictions even then. As the gods had to compete for favor among the people. In Athens They primarily worshiped Athena, unless they were dealing with another god's domain. Like water for Poseidon. I believe it worked similarly in norse mythology, and egyptians. And really all humans tended to prefer one god over others, as a whole. This being said yes it's completely normal, and a rational god might say, Hey, You've decided to enlighten my people to your presence, is it alright if I do the same? That being said as a whole they did actually worship all the deities, until Monotheism took over, and Zeus was declared the one true God in Greece. Don't know nearly as much about other mythologies, but as a whole your correct, and why I didn't have a real problem with it.
