I think that largely depends on how spell slots work when you level in the wild. When we hit level 2 I got 2 level 2 and an extra level 1, but I don't know if I need to take a long rest to use those or not :)

I can still heal for literally one point, which is basically good enough to stabilize someone and that's it.

You need a long rest to level, so you should have gotten all your slots back. Unless you leveled without a long rest. Tsk, tsk.

Ah wait, when you say patrol quest, do you mean this goblin event or is the patrol already over? I kinda updated my sheet prematurely when I leveled up.

The goblin event was different. The patrol itself has been completed, is my understanding.

The patrol is complete. You've been awarded your xp for the patrol quest, the goblin event, and your fight with the wolves. I also just remembered: I should have given you each 25 xp for the fight with the goblins, bringing the total to 200! I hope nobody minds that I gave Chloe full quest xp even though she came in late.

I'm fine with that, guess jobs done, time to go back to the Smith's Gambit Thread. I'll make a post tomorrow cause i'm busy today.

And how much gold should I have received between the patrol and goblin killing? Sorry guys, I am having just a little bit of trouble keeping up as rewards are given out.

Conspirator, when you hand out gold and xp is that per individual? So should I receive 45 gold between the two? Or did Chloe get 15 and then the rest of us split 30?

I thought everybody gets 10 plus 5 for the goblin head. Each.

But I get how Odilon feels. You feel kinda insecure about misunderstanding something and messing up numbers, especially when it comes to little things like experience and monneh. I don't think this happens in combat, though, because everything is so clear-cut and concise.

In videogames, EXP and monneh (yes I'll keep spelling it this way, sue me) is shown directly after combat kinda like this:

Malkus     +200 EXP   +15gp
Odilon     +200 EXP   +15gp
Enialis    +200 EXP   +15gp
Xannan     +200 EXP   +15gp
Chloe      +200 EXP   +15gp

This leaves virtually no room for confusion. Of course, while this is easily applicable to experience points, monneh doesn't appear all at once and needs to be collected from Mister Smith or looted from corpses. My suggestion is to simply avoid formulations like "you" because it's too vague and go for a robotic "each player gets". Even when incorporated into the speech of an NPC, sometimes it simply needs to be spelled out for some of us in an extra line at the end of the message.

Also, when Erret gave out the 30+15 GP, i *think* that was for the patrol + the goblin headhunting mission.

Malkus is correct. If everyone's okay with it, I'll let Chloe have the 30 from the Patrol as well, so each player in the party is receiving a total 45gp from Smith. In the past, when new players have joined a party partway through, we've done it that way, and it seems to make things go more smoothly. To use the video game analogy, its like turning in a quest in Baldur's Gate II right after recruiting say...Jan Jansen (though I me be the only one who liked using him...)

Though now that I think about it, that analogy applies better to xp...
