*Grabble, not Gremian

I was under the impression that Flea and Pan were coming at least.

Re: The General OOC Chatting Thread

I am sorry everyone, I am absolutely buried in real life at the moment, with two projects to work on with rapidly approaching deadlines, my health being very poor, and still dealing with issues of my father's rapidly declining health. I am struggling to find time to play, or even for those games I am running. It might be best to move on and not wait for me at this point!

Luthraeg probably isn't going to react all that well to the goblin who is currently going, but that's what will be so much fun! I have no objections if you tag along.

well need someone else then that knew or knows Viranas father to come and get her to tag along, that is if Flea can't due to RL.

Re: The General OOC Chatting Thread

OK, the problem I see here is that I need to have a scene with Virana, while the Luthraeg scene is also needing me to be there. Would Virana and the GM be ok if we time-fudged it a bit? We could do the scene of their encounter, while at the same time they could post in the Luthraeg thread, and imply their meeting happened some time earlier. If we don't do it that way, then the Luthraeg scene would need to wait until Flea and Virana have finished, and I do not want to hold things up any more. I am pushing to ensure I get RPoL time to do updates at least once a day. I trimmed back on some games, but didn't want to neglect or leave here, as it is a great game, with some superb writers, and I want to ensure this is one of the couple of games I keep going.

Virana and GM: would that work for you? This way Flea and Virana can go right to the Luthraeg thread, and do their own meeting without having to rush.

Re: The General OOC Chatting Thread

No problem with time fudges at all, as long as you don't tamper with the big lever that says "Temporal Continuity".  Cleaning up the space time continuum is a lot of work, if paradoxes get loose.

Grabble I was waiting for Flea to post in Luthreag before I did as I wasn't sure how to bring Virana in without her already there.

I might not be able to post for a whie. HUGE real life crisis has hit me, and I am officially Not Able To Cope. Struggling to handle anything at all right now. Sorry everyone, but this is really a huge problem. :(

Re: The General OOC Chatting Thread

Suppose we could just say that Flea sent Virana on ahead and take care of the introduction later.

That is fine too!  You can always back date posts later!

Re: The General OOC Chatting Thread

I was saying that to perhaps keep the Luthreag thread going, pretty much have Virana show up out front with her truck and maybe even say that Flea was at least temporarily delayed if that's alright.

Re: The General OOC Chatting Thread

Well obviously she's delayed! Do you know how hard it is too find parking for a truck in Manhattan?  It might even be beyond the powers of faerie kind.

Works for me. Throw up an intro post and I'll have Grabble come over to you. We can say someone at the library told him about a girl with a truck joining him.

Re: The General OOC Chatting Thread

In reply to Amara Tahan (msg # 308):

I believe that the traffic would have little incidence on our commute as we are on foot; Either google includes it in its calculation, or we pass beside.

For the snow, base on my experiences in Montreal, it would be between no effect for light or already plowed, and doubling our time for fresh heavy snow or ice.

don't forget that there always seems to be some people that never seem to learn how to drive in snowy conditions so you might have some accidents to deal with aswell.

Re: The General OOC Chatting Thread

After a heavy snow there is some increase in foot travel time in Manhattan.  This is because the plows create snow barriers along the curbs, but then only a relatively narrow gap through the barrier is cleared for pedestrians to cross at intersections.

The snow in the story was unnaturally quick, but not heavy enough to cause that.

Re: The General OOC Chatting Thread

well I'm used to county highways and country roads not really big cities, but the St. Louis branch of humana will close for just a couple of inches while the Green Bay branch stays open unless there's a major blizzard and even sometimes then it will be open but the employee's are told that they can come if they want but aren't required to.
