"Yeah, might need to, might not.  But right now Joc, got two votes whack 'em, two votes mercy, an two votes on t'e fence.  Fy way was to just end 'em, but t'ey be merit on the 'have a guide' front.  If we go mercy now, I won't be down with killin 'em later less t'ey turn on us.  An if we do mercy t'em, t'ey will inform back t'e Plumber, no bones t'ere, that's definite."

Re: Junior House Again

"Mercy it be."

Jareth heads back into the room with the prisoners, he indicates the unhelpful smuggler who was smack-talking, "Mario, tie this guy up," and then he indicates the helpful smuggler, "an Clarence truss this gent's hands an fashion leash in case need go with."

He waits a moment, then asks of useful one, "Now before this all happen, mentioned 'just passin through', so what's through t'e door in t'e ot'er room with t'e step?  An be any traps should know about?"

Re: Junior House Again

"True enough."

Mario uses Clarence's cordage and takes some extra time to carefully bind up the less helpful prisoner, using about half the cord to secure his hands and feet to something sturdy and non-movable, then the remaining end to tie the hands of the cooperative one, leaving about six yards between.

Re: Junior House Again

Jareth nods, "Okay let's check it out.  Clarence, can you an Charlene take control of this guy."

Jareth looks to make sure everyone is prepared to move out, then he shuts the other door to this room and blockades it with something heavy enough to stop rats from pushing the door open.  Once they're in the next room he closes the door to this and the other rooms as well.

Charlwne prods them forward.

this room, in addition to some buckets and barrels filled with dusty coal blocking the door west, has a door north with a step up to it.  there is an overturned table and some cards and copper coins spilled on the pavers, along witha few tin cups and a broken jug.  near it are smaller barrels probably used as chairs.

"Okay, Jareth, let me look it over."

Mario approaches the stairway door and examines it closely for traps -- expecting the kind of thing that's easily and quickly bypassed by someone who knows it's there.

[Private to GM: 09:17, Today: Mario Crowfoot rolled 7 using 3d6.  Traps (stairway door from coal room) (12).]
