the night passes uneventfully,  although Gui Ma has eaten a pattern into the grass around the camp that looks vaguely like a summoning diagram...

"Oh, dear.  She is surely a creature of my father's realm.

"I think we should wipe out this pattern; there has been enough trouble with summoned beings recently.  I can do so with fire, if someone will help to watch that it does not get loose."

Saishi has no skill that would help him, but the pattern is uncomfortable to look at, and contemplating it for two long causes vertigo.

"Bad luck!"
Chye exclaims.

"Maybe so, maybe not. I only hope we don't summon chaos monsters, in the middle of the night!"

the grass grows back to fill, but is slightly different in hue. the pattern remains mostly intact, but no longer cause vertigo to look at.

Content that it has been resolved, Saishi creates four meals, sharing some as desired but keeping the fourth for later, before recovering his strength.

[Private to GM: Lol, insignificant roll, rolled a 4 and 5, skill 18. Other rolls 8 and 10, using plants as base product. He will keep the 4 for later, and eat the 5 now.]
