In my experience, player chemistry is one of the two most vital components in a PbP game's success. So the RTJ is more about you (the player) than it is about your character. As much as you can, try to give me a sense of the person behind the keyboard and an idea of what would make you (the player) a fun and interesting and constructive addition to this group project.

Also, I hate making people do a lot of work for these things. So I don't need novels for any of this. 50 to 100 words or so should do for any given question. So less is more so long as it gets the job done.

Alright, here we go!

1. Tell me the 1, 2 or 3 Playbooks you're most interested in, with any comments or notes on preference you think would be useful to me.

2. Give me an "Elevator Pitch" for one character. An Elevator Pitch is a quick-sketch, high-energy, high-intensity description of why this character, this story, is too good to pass up. Imagine you're in an elevator and a Netflix exec comes in and you have two minutes to sell them on a mini-series before they reach their floor. You only have time for the important bits. The core. The real juicy stuff. That's what I want.
2b. OPTIONAL: If you like, give me an Elevator Pitch for one or two more characters. But only if you want to.

3. Why do we tell superhero stories? We can all agree that real-life superbeings would be an absolute disaster. So why do we like them so much? What are superhero stories about, really?
3b. OPTIONAL: What's your favourite superhero property (comic, character, movie, series, story, arc, etc)? Why?

4. If you were the GM of this game, what would you be looking for in a player? What would be a red flag to you?

5. What's one thing you'd really like to happen in this game? Your one big Spotlight Moment?
5b. OPTIONAL: What's one thing you really don't want to happen in this game? Maybe a common superhero thing you don't like? Or a common RPG thing you don't like? Whatever it is, what's something you just don't want in your story?

6. What are your preferred pronouns?
