You find the steel factory without any real problems. It stands there, looking rundown, but it was apparently still operational. Something was inside, that's for certain.

And that was fine.  Gorgo went right in.  He wasn't here to sneak.  It might be as easy as talking, of course.  Anything was possible.  But sneaking was out.

As you head inside, you see several homeless people also heading in.

Interesting.  What was going on here, if homeless people and young witches were both contributing?  He headed in, though.

As you follow the stream of people, you see can see what looks like a large shrine of some kind.

...well, promising.  Gorgo walked right up to it.

The people were finding a spot before it and then bowing down deeply to it as a small flame appeared and the grew large and larger until something the size of a bonfire was floating in the air.

Gorgo walked up to it.

"So," he said, "Who are you?  What do you want?"

"I am *Sound of a roaring fire for three second* and I want power over this world," the spirit said.

"Well, I'm called Gorgo," said Gorgo.  "And someone trying to buy your favor tried to steal from me, and I'm not having that.  Do you know who I am?  Do you know what I am?"

The fire seemed to be regarding you.

"You seem to be the servant of something."

"I seem to be friends with the Seamother," said Gorgo.  "Why would those seeking your favor try to steal from me?"

"I am becoming more and more powerful. All these things will belong to me," the fire spirit said.

"So why should I let you do that?" said Gorgo, advancing on the fire being.

"I am more powerful than some mortal," the spirit said.

"Yeah?" said Gorgo, advancing on the stage.  "Me, too.  What's your point?"

"You will leave or you will be sorry," the spirit said.

"That depends," said Gorgo.  "Am I going to have your followers try and take things from me again?"

All shall eventually be consumed by me," the spirit said.

"No, I don't think so," said Gorgo.  "I think you reign it in, or you get stopped, hard."

"Fine, fine," the spirit said.

Was it that easy?  That was a surprise...

Gorgo didn't relax.  He waited to see what the fire spirit would do.

"I shall continue to grow my power," the fire spirit said.

"How do you do that?" Gorgo asked.  It was really looking like this was going to turn into a fight just to get the damn thing to change topics.

"I will consume more and more magic and offerings," the fire spirit said.
