As you get out of the carriage, you find yourself on the edge of the city, not far from the massive walls and an entrance that has guards at it.

Siobhan Siobhan helped the others dismount the carriage and get their belongings. "Right let's see about getting into the city then," she said.

The line to enter wasn't too bad, with the guards just giving the group a quick once over. Then you're inside the massive walls.

"Okay, let's try that Inn near the libraries then," Siobhan suggested.

The group agreed and started heading towards it. As you walk, you come to a very busy market.

"Wow, let's keep close, wouldn't want to loose anyone in this lot," Siobhan said.

The group did.

"My lady, over here," a merchant said, perhaps at you.

Siobhan looked over at the merchant to see if he was talking to her.

"Yes! You, my lady!" The merchant said, waving you over.

Siobhan headed over still a bit shocked that he was calling her a lady.

"I have the finest jewelry fit for a lady such as yourself," the man said.

Siobhan decides to have a look.

There were several different rings and necklaces, all made with different metals and gemstones.

Siobhan examines the jewellery trying to assess its quality.

It does appear to be good quality.

Siobhan picks up an earring that is shaped like a birds wing. "How much?" she asked.

"Three hundred," the merchant said.

Siobhan sighs and puts the earring down and steps back "Another time perhaps," she said turning to leave.

"Wait, wait!" the merchant said. "How about two?"

Siobhan paused for a moment, then nods "Two for 300 then." She agreed.

The merchant nodded and placed the items in a small bag for you after taking the money.

Siobhan happily took the package and put it away for now.

Sheena was standing a ways back, looking over at you, curiously.

Siobhan just smiled "All done, sorry for the delay."

"It's fine," Sheena said. "It is a big market and a tad overwhelming."

"Yeah, it is," Siobhan said "I'm not used to so many people," she offered her hand "Shall we catch up with the others?"

Sheena took it.

Siobhan felt her lips turn up a bit as she felt Sheena's hand in hers "Okay then, let's go." she said.

The rest of the group was waiting outside of an inn for the two of you. They were smiling when they saw you.

Siobhan scowled at them but she didn't let go of Sheena's hand "Sorry I'm late, I was distracted with a trader in the market place."

"That's no problem," Makenzie said. "We got two rooms. Ava's with me."

Siobhan nodded briskly "That's fine with me," she said and then looked at Sheena "Are you okay sharing with me?" she asked in a softer tone.

"Yes," Sheena said.

Siobhan smiled a little bit, "Let's get our things put away then, we can plan what to do next," she suggested.

Sheena nodded and the two of you headed to your room.

Once they got up to their room and put the bags down, Siobhan took the bag with the earings in and then showed them to Sheena "I got these," she said "I was hoping... that you'd accept one, so we'd match," she said shyly.

Sheena took one out and looked at it curiously before nodding and putting it on.

Siobhan felt a sudden surge of relief and put the other one on, "It suits you," she said.

"Thank you...," Sheena said.

Siobhan smiled shyly "Okay is there anything you want to do or should we head down and join the others?"

"I don't think so. What about you?" Sheena asked.

"No, I've done the only important thing that was on my mind," Siobhan said.

Sheena nodded and headed inside.

Siobhan followed.

Inside, the others have a table with food ready.

Siobhan found a seat "That smells good," she commented.

"Dig in," Makenzie said. There was stew and various fruits.

Siobhan did so, enjoying the food.

There was one fruit you haven't seen before. It was about the size of a grape fruit with a golden coloured skin.

Siobhan looked at the strange fruit "Anyone know what this is?"

"I'm not sure, but it is very sweet," Makenzie said.

Siobhan picked up the fruit and then hesitantly tried it.

It was very sweet, but not unpleasantly so...

Siobhan coughed slightly "I see what you mean," she said "It's very sweet."

"It's good," Sheena said, having taken a bit of your fruit.

Siobhan nodded and made a mental note to find some later.

They food was soon finished.

"Now then, what should we do?" Makenzie asked.

"We should probably start with the Library and see what leads," Siobhan said "And given what's happened before we should listen out for any strange things happening."

"Ava and I can try hitting up some of the bars," Makenzie said.

"Well I guess Sheena and I should head to the library then," Siobhan usggested.

"It would be for the best," Ava said, with a quick wink to you.

Siobhan went red and grabbed her mug and drank from it deeply to hide her embarrassment.

"Are you feeling sick?" Sheena asked.

Siobhan coughed spluttering out some of her drink "No, no I'm fine," she said hurridly.

"Ah. Good," Sheena said.

Siobhan found herself smiling back at Sheena.

"We'll leave you two alone," Ava said, standing up with Makenzie who then left.

Siobhan blushed "Shall we head to the Library then?" She suggested.

"Yes," Sheena said.

The two of you head outside and walk down a block. The library is in a large building that was likely once a church, you see several people going in and coming out o fit. It seems to be quite busy for a library.

Siobhan indicates the building "It seems pretty busy for Library, don't you think?" she asked Sheena who likely had more experience with such things.

"Yes, but I have not been to such a large city before," Sheena said.

"it could just be how big this place is," Siobhan agreed "Let's head in," she said as he headed towards the Library.

Inside, it was clear how massive the library was. The shelves were massive and went on for ages.

Siobhan looked around in shock "This place is huge.." she said "Where do you think we should start?"

"We should probably ask about local history books," Sheena said.

Siobhan nodded and looked for a librarian to help them.

You were able to a librarian who led the both of you to a large shelf full of them.

"Thank you," Siobhan said as she looked at the books and began to pick a few "Well, I guess we should get to work."

"Yes," Sheena said and she began to work.

Siobhan started on some books as well trying to help.

Siobhan begins to look through the books trying to find anything relevant but she quickly finds her attention wandering and spends at least as much time watching Sheena work.

Sheena is able to go through the books rather quickly. She seems to have some skill at speed reading.

"You're very good at this," Siobhan said "How do you do it?"

"Practice," Sheena said. "Lots of practice."

Siobhan smiles "Maybe I can get you to show me some tricks to it," she suggested.

"Later, when we are done," Sheena said with a nod.

"Okay," Siobhan said and tried to turn back to the books.

What feels like several hours pass...

"I believe I have found something," Sheena said.

Siobhan starts slightly and realizes that at one point she'd drifted off "What have you found?" she asked trying to look like she'd be busy as well.

Sheena turned the book she was reading around and pointed to a section,

"It talks about a ruin that the city was built on," she said.

"so you think we should try to find that ruin? " Siobhan asked as she looked at the indicated section.

"It's the only clue we have at this point," Sheena said.

"Okay," Siobhan said "Let's make some good notes and then see if we can find the others."

Sheena nodded and began to take notes.
