Yana will be happy with a short rest, not being thrilled will sleeping near so many undead, but she'll defer to the spell-casting people

After making sure her sister is ok she moved to Amalia.

"Hey, you alright ? I know that last battle was exciting but you seem down."

Yana wasn't really a people person.  But she looked over when her sister spoke to Amalia.  Keeping the healer happy was important, and the cleric seemed a good sort of person.

Amalia looked up from bandaging her wounds and smiled, embarrassed. "I survived, thank Selune. Now I understand why my mother was berating my father when she was healing him after fights, he was a fighter you know. He tried to show me how to use my mace, but I never was very good at martial arts. So he trained me to wear armor and told me to stay out of the way of the swords, instead."

Allura smiled, "I wish my father had told, my sister such wisdom. I have always tried to be her shield and I guess longsword. I follow like her shadow to keep her safe. She has proven to be strong and capable in her own right. Still I would be happy to be your shadow as well."

She offers to patch Amalia up taking out her own healing pack.

If accepted she would heal 1d6+4 hp.

Yana smiled wryly and looked at Amelia
"it's something I've learned recently.   We all have a part to play in our humble little group.  And so far, we've all done well"

Snoric used his time for quietly ensuring Muffin was repaired.  The fox had taken a lot of hits recently but the gnome appreciated that was part of its purpose.  He debated the idea of increasing Muffin's armour but decided working on its scouting functions served a greater purpose.

Upgrades for Muffin, upgrades for Ultio and the many new designs in his head.  So much to do.  Plus he missed his cooking.  He was a long way from a decent bakery oven out here.

The group returned to the safety of the room and sat down, resting while they could heal their wounds after the onslaught of undead. The time seemed to slip by quickly, and when they were all ready, went to return to the room. They, however stopped at the intersection, seeing teh same flickering of fire they saw before.

Allura searches this large area now that the undead were dealt with. She took her time going over everything and even inspecting the skulls that had blasted them with fire.

"The flaming skulls are back." Solgran looked back to Amalia, "Are these new, or did our rest restore them too?"

Looks over from inspecting the room.

"Perhaps we should withdraw from this room ?"

"I'm not sure." Caldrel shook his head. Whatever knowledge he had about this sort of creatures eluded him. "I do know that my spells were rather inefficient against them, however. I'd rather not face them again. And removing their curse is beyond my skills." He backed a little, but followed the lead of the others. Somehow this challenge had to be overcome.

"I say we kill them."
Yana said grimly, her face pinched with anger at the undead monsters
"But if everyone else wants to avoid them, I'll abide by that vote"

Amalia shook her head, she didn't understand how the skulls could be back. But she was a cleric of Selune, and like her goddess, part of her belief system was that she needed to destroy all undeads. "I agree Yana, Selune requires that I destroy the undead I face. Wait, did you hear that? There's noise from the other side of the door", she said, pointing west.

Snoric moved slightly further ahead of the group to peer around the corner.  He didn't like what he saw.  He crept back quietly, trying not to alert the skull things near the forge."

"There are people behind that door to the west.  Several.  Couldn't make out exactly how many."

"Alright, lets see what's behind the door, then. The flaming skulls are bad enough on their own; we don't want more undead coming up behind us." Solgran went to stand in front of the door, not opening it until everyone was ready to face whatever waited for them inside.

Seeing the plan, Snoric took one knee and aimed Ultio, he hoped his knew 'quietening' device was enough.  Muffin he ordered to get behind whichever target Solgran attacked.

The group took a deep breath as they faced west now and opened the door. What they saw was not a surprise to some, but they opened it none the less. Old stone bunks line the walls of this barracks, which is lit and heated by a glowing iron brazier in the middle of the room. Within the room, ready for intrusion were eight bugbears, three armed with javelins ad the others with morningstars.
