Chapter one: A New Dawn
Concordia, Mandalore's Moon
The Mandalorian Tribe known simply as "The Watch" have made their new home on Concordia for the last year at one of the mid-sized depleted Beskar mining camps simply called, "Sector Omega" on prospector mining data maps.
A new leader has taken over them simply calling himself, "The Sentinel" and has gathered all of the Watch - over 300 strong - to what amounts to the center of the mining camp. Standing on a makeshift platform put together by old mining crates, he raised his arm for silence and attention to him.
"Children of the Watch hear me - a new dawn comes to our Tribe. We alone stand as the true inheritors of Mandalore. We must put aside the visions of peace Satine Kryze tried to impose on our people and wash away the ambitions and treachery of Pre Vizsla and his tearing asunder of our Tribe in establishing his Death Watch to secure his rule. Only in adherence to The Creed can we live as true Mandalorians...This is the Way."
"This is the Way", the crowd said in unison.
A dramatic pause followed before he continued.
"To ensure our survival as a Tribe, we need numbers - I have assigned small groups to leave and establish Coverts in areas of space where conflict has arisen and find Younglings. They and their respective Armorers will find the orphaned, the cast off, the forgotten of battle, war & poverty and give them purpose, a family of devotion and fellowship and the following of Creed - This is the Way."
"This is the Way", the crowd said.
"The rest of you all will do as we always have done - go forth into the Galaxy...Find Conflict, find Battles & Wars. Hone your skills against any & all who would stand against you. Show all who see you why the name Mandalorian is to be feared and respected wherever your path takes you - This is the Way."
"This is the Way", the crowd said.
"As you were", the Sentinel said ending the gathering.
As all the others went about their business in the mining camp, one of the Mandalorians came to Shar.
"The Sentinel wishes to speak with you at your earliest convenience", he said.
