Neglected to post this last month!
New Features:
- Moved to a responsive layout (with large thanks to cruinne).
- Added lightboxes to images (in threads etc).
- Additionally images can now have their (screen) size reduced (between 10 and 99% original).
- You can now link to rolls in the dice roller, copy the "[roll=]" text from the dice log to reference the result. As it relies on the entry to exist in the log the maximum log size has been increased.
- Added "Preview As" option when composing messages so you can see how it looks for other players.
- Added Earthdawn: Age of Legend to the dice roller.
- Added Zombie World to the dice roller.
- Added Three Dragon Ante to the dice roller.
- Added Basic Action Super Heroes to the dice roller.
- Added "Full" and "Major Arcana" Tarot Decks to the dice roller.
- Added Vampire: The Masquerade 5th Edition to the dice roller.
- Added Mayfair Exponential Game System to the dice roller.
- Added Genesys to the dice roller.
- Added SLA Industries 2nd Edition to the dice roller.
- Added Cyberpunk RED to the dice roller.
- You can now reply to a thread without the need to go to a separate page.
- Added inline (while you're editing) quoting and "in reply to".
- GMs can upload (up to 20) portraits to their game for players to utilise (thanks EduRSNH for the suggestion). Limited slots as you should be submitting portraits to the portrait gallery for everyone to enjoy.
Changes:
- Private lines, groups and languages now only reveal if the targeted characters have access to the thread. Players with multiple characters will find they won't be shown private text if a characters without access to the thread are the only valid recipients for the text.
- Changed the game system "autosuggest" feature from javascript to HTML5. Javascript version was very temperamental and HTML5's "datalist" replaces and enhances what we were already doing. Any modern browser can do datalists (see https://caniuse.com/#feat=datalist).
- Increased the dice log from the last 200 rolls to 1,000.
- Players who have been banned from a game can now see their original application request (if it still exists).
- New rMails are now checked inside games (on the main game page) as well as the main menu.
- Removed usage of document.write (in javascript) to improve page rendering performance.
- Generally removed as much reliance of javascript as possible (where it could be replaced with HTML5 or just newer HTML trickeries).
- Removed superfluous and subject-to-misuse (looking at you, last logon) from the cast list.
Fixes:
- Stopped duplicate portraits coming up when searching with "or" selected.
- Thread filter now allows you to change it after it's set (rather than "change" showing you the same result as currently).
- Wiki - Changes to the "Who can edit?" option are now preserved between previews.
- Wiki - Fixed allowing links with unsafe characters.
- Wiki - Fixed game wiki links not showing if a link went outside the game's wiki area.
- Game/thread pagination no longer has the undesirable requirement of the user being logged in.
- Can now reply to a rMail sent to characters after the game has been deleted.
- Fixed group selection reverting to the original when editing and then previewing the first message in a thread (and changing the group).
- Fixed an issue where having "post as primary character" selected would sometimes select the first alphabetical character, not the primary.
- Fixed audio alert in the sticky list, on the off-chance anyone still uses it.
