OOC: please share where it says you can draw a potion as part of a move action.  I have a few potions myself in a bandolier to make it a move action to draw it out.  I believe you can only draw weapons as part of a move action.

Essentially, at one point, a very long time ago, someone drew a potion as a part of a movement action and it was ruled that because potions can also be used as improvised weapons and because weapons can be drawn as part of a movement action that it could also be said that pretty much anything within easy reach on your person could be substituted for the weapon.

Basically its an unwritten house rules that everyone just accepts and uses. So feel free to use it yourself. :D

(Boadicea, please hold off on posting until the PMs with the ref are resolved, as it would change my turn.)  Also, for the potion, that is part of the trade-off of listing that you have the potions - unlisted you can pull them from secret as a standard, but listed you can draw them as a weapon as opal mentioned, but if listed, they can also be stolen.
