All +4 areas not adjacent to 3 or more other + squares are hanging bridges that are only 5 feet thick and characters can move underneath them normally (assuming their not more than 20 feet tall). Other + locations are solid walls all the way up from the floor. The lone +6 squares are just pillars.

Remember, moving UPWARDS costs 3 squares per 1 square moved and moving DOWNWARDS costs 2 squares per 1 square moved.

Grunyar and Thraxis have sent me their character sheet.
Hiro, as far as I understand you don't have to do it, but it makes for simpler rulings down the road.

Latro, we're ready when you are.

All right, Latro is up. Thraxis to follow.

I'm refereeing this, but I won't be able to post maps or correct them if they're wrong as I'll be on my phone most of the time.
So please mind the format of your posts and maps, before your post them.

Re: Team Match #5: Grunyar & Latro vs. Hiro & Thraxis

Ankou or GM I just noticed that the center pillar and walkways to it go above the typical 25ft cieling for the small arenas is there a special cieling hieght for this areana or should they be lowered to the +4 of the border walls which is the highest cube a charracter can stand in?

Re: Team Match #5: Grunyar & Latro vs. Hiro & Thraxis

Unless Arkrim rules otherwise, let's just bring every square above +4 down to +4.
Consider that anyone of medium size can walk comfortably on the +4 level, large creatures are squeezed though.

Re: Team Match #5: Grunyar & Latro vs. Hiro & Thraxis

The ceiling goes up to +13 - it's 25' above the highest terrain feature in the small arena (so 25' above the ground in an empty small) and 50' above the highest terrain in the large arena (so 50' above the ground in the empty large).  Note that in maps the special option 'low ceiling' doesn't lower it from 50' total, but from 50' above the highest terrain feature.

Re: Team Match #5: Grunyar & Latro vs. Hiro & Thraxis

quote:
Surrounding this area is a giant force cube which goes 50 feet over the highest floor point and 50 feet under the lowest floor point as well (small arena is 50ft long, 50ft wide, 25ft deep, 25 ft tall).

the arena is 50x50x25x25 it is the force cube that is larger, hmmmm so does that mean you are out of the "arena" if you are in the middle? Or is the extra footage for falling objects or spells that need the hieght?
