Well, since it already came up in OOC, I might as well state this now:
I believe that I, a True Neutral character, using a Summon Monster V extract to summon a Bralani Azata, a Chaotic Good creature, is 100% legal.
The rule in question is the following

Alignment & Spells: You must be of the same alignment as the alignment in the spell's descriptor to use it. Exceptions are summoning spells and SLAs which merely need the caster to be within 1 alignment step of the summoned creature.
I have bolded the parts I deemed relevant.
As you can see, the rule specifically restricts
spells and
spell-like abilities which summon creatures can only summon creatures within 1 alignment step of the summoner. I can summon a Bralani Azata, a creature with an alignment two steps away from mine, because my Summon Monster V extract is an extract, which is a supernatural ability and not a spell or a spell-like ability. Since it is neither a spell nor a spell-like ability, it is not subject to the above restriction.
