Speaking of frostbite in the rules thread, I find it annoying how bad wording paizo has made around fatigued ^^
Conditions:
A fatigued character becomes exhausted by doing something else that would normally cause fatigue.
But what if you're not doing something that causes fatigue - what if someone else is magically fatiguing you? Does it work then?
Well, in some cases it is explicitly written that it doesn't work like that:
Frostbite:
This spell cannot make a creature exhausted even if it is already fatigued.
Which is quite clear. But in other cases:
Ray of Exhaustion:
A character that is already fatigued instead becomes exhausted.
*sigh*
Well, maybe the Ray thing is just to not create confusion regarding the save for partial. I dunno, is this clear to everyone else? Or confusing like it is to me? If character X makes character Y fatigued, and Y was already fatigued, does Y then become exhausted? (Or does Y have to exert themselves to exhaustion?)
