Unless you have some ability to sense Brakt's life force I do not see how Elementals actions effect your own, if so please elaborate.

My familiar can see the whole scene, and I can hear him (with my 30 perception check) as he is not all that far.
If you consider that it's not enough for Josep to understand whether Brakt is dead or not, I'll post my full round 3 actions right now regardless.

up to Brakt, but if I was in his spot I would ask if any commands where given to alert you of the outcome of the attacks/some kind of telepathic link otherwise that is some severe metagaming (I know it's not delt with enough here).

At this level, my familiar should be smart enough to know what to share through our empathic link.
If you rule that I have to post all of my actions before I know the result of those attacks, I will though.
We're all making choices based on things we know are happening elsewhere in the arena even if our characters have no way of knowing it...

So, I'm at P16+0:R18-2.  Based on the fact that only my head is poking out from the ground, I'd argue that the Elemental's wouldn't be able to reach me at all, and even if they could, I'd have total cover from the attack.

I do agree that you should get the benefit of “partial cover” because of the wall, though. Boa?

First of all, Low Obstacles:


Since the wall is greater then half the elemental's height, I should still have total cover.

Assuming Boa rules I don't have total cover, then I'd still argue that A1 doesn't have line of effect to the corner of D:E3, which gives me normal cover at the very least, since at least half of me is still underground.

One other thing to remember is that while large creatures deal with cover differently, this is only for melee attacks, and not ranged.
