Brakt stepped into the arena, a shiver running down his spine as he faced down the undead knight standing across the arena from him.

"Today is a good day to die! It's a shame you won't experience the glory of a good death, you abomination!"

It may of seemed an odd phrase for an Ogre, known for their particular brutal and savage tendencies, but Brakt's time in the arena had changed him. He was no longer the mindless brute that he had been when he first stepped foot into the arena.

A click of his heels, a swoosh of his cloak, and the ogre marches forward, even more imposing and intimidating.

Latro laughs a hollow foreboding laugh that echoes through the arena. His laugh only amplified by the haunted bellows of rage that seem to come from all directions as Brakt comes closer to him.

"A glorious death, you say?" The graveknight responds, "There is no glory in death. Not for me, not for you, not for anyone. Only in battle itself can one hope to achieve any semblance of ecstasy. But if death is what you so long for, then i will happily grant it."

Latro's auras flair with intense unholy energy and his eyes light up as he sets his sights on the reformed ogre, his undead body now coursing with the most profane of boons fit for the most unholy of champions the arena has ever seen.

"You will be the first in a long time to know the power I truly wield, and i will savor every moment of this exchange, however brief it may be."

Clicking his heals as Brakt did, Latro moves north and draws a scroll from his pouch and proceeds to recite the words on the scroll. His words are harsh and forced as if his will is what will draw out the spells power instead of practiced spell casting. It seems Latro's words aren't enough but with a final furious command the spell comes to fruition, the arcane magic pouring out of the scroll. Strangely, the spell doesn't appear to have done anything.
Latro smiles devilishly as he prepares for combat.

The barrier is invisible, but Brakt can feel after his flurry of blows that it is virtually unscathed.
He may have left dents and scratches, but no structural damage.

"Having some trouble there, Brakt?" Latro taunts from behind his invisible wall. "Perhaps you are not as strong as you think? Or perhaps you didn't anticipate I would steal other combatant's tactics? Either way, you were a fool to think I would leave myself open to attack like that."

Weaving a spell born of his own dark deity's power, Latro's form shifts and sways until he is almost completely made of shadow.

"Let's place a bet, shall we?" He says drawing his sword. "If you can knock down this wall in your next series of strikes, then I will make certain to kill you as swiftly as possible. But if you can't, I will ensure that every last drop of your blood is spilled before you are allowed to die."

Though Latro is now almost completely made of shadow, Brakt can tell the Antipaladin is enjoying himself a great deal by toying with him like this.
