Re: Chapter 3.1: Wolf hunt for the Dark Sister
Xander draws a smaller axe from his belt while holding the hafted one in his right hand. Growling, his eyes narrow as he goes to move through the house, room by room searching for more Trollocs while keeping a eye out for the others.

Riverwind grows, her fur sticking up as she seems to want to tear the Trollocs limb from limb while staying close to Azara to 'protect' her.

Darek weaves hardened air through the hole in the hardened air blocking the doorway to encase the last trolloc.

The trollocs fell to the ground thrashing trying to breathe but it was impossible to do so and would die if kept held.

Re: Chapter 3.1: Wolf hunt for the Dark Sister
Xander continues to move room to room, looking for any other Trollocs or a Fade to contend with while keeping a look out for Azara and the others.

Riverwind stays near Azara, a low growl coming from her at a constant pace.

Re: Chapter 3.1: Wolf hunt for the Dark Sister
The servants is in chaos and run around not helping you, if anything making the whole thing worse. The search through the house proves fruitless, no other shadowspawn can be found in the area. But as you are assembling again you hear a scream coming from the room you had your supper followed by a high wailing of a woman crying in grief.

Re: Chapter 3.1: Wolf hunt for the Dark Sister
Hefting his hafted-axe upwards and still covered in the blood of Trollocs, Xander runs towards where the scream is coming from and goes to literally move through anything that gets in his path letting his animalistic instincts kick into overdrive while Riverwind continues to stay near Azara to protect her if needed. The wolf's back haunches up slightly, and a deep growl comes from the small wolf. Teeth bared and ready.

Azara moves in Xander wake, she runs lightly, still holding the One Power and concentrates on Harden air as it is so useful, offensively and defensely.

Melina turns her head toward the wailing sound.  :I think we have been betrayed, whether by the wife or the captain  I do not know.  We must be careful.

Re: Chapter 3.1: Wolf hunt for the Dark Sister
Hurries through the house you come back to the dining room just to be met by a grouse sight. Hanging from the ceiling in his intestinal hung the captain very dead. Laying across the table was a cut up trolloc, as you enter the room you see no sight of any other creature here but obviously there had to... unless the trolloc died after the captain had died.

Re: Chapter 3.1: Wolf hunt for the Dark Sister
Suspecting this was done with the One Power, Darek, still embracing saidin, examines the scene, looking for any weaves, cuts from weaves rather than weapons, and hardened air or other weaves. He quickly moves into the next room to look as well.

09:07, Today: Darek Halchov rolled 13 using 1d20+3. Knowledge One Power.

Re: Chapter 3.1: Wolf hunt for the Dark Sister
The smell of blood and carnage filling his nostrils, Xander growls loudly. He looks up at the hanging captain, eyes narrowed. Pulling his hood back, the wolfbrother moves around the room seeming to examine everything and seems to just taking it all in. Remaining hunched over, he kneels down and traces a hand on the floor then the wall. The man does this a few times here and there before moving to the captain in a attempt to cut him down and throw a sheet over him, muttering something."With all I have hunted, this has disturbed me the most. Someone..or something far more evil then a trolloc. More sinister. It does not make sense. Perhaps a Fade but from what I have seen, it would make no sense for them to do something such as this. And where is the captain's wife?" Riverwind growls, remaining close to Azara.

[private to Johanfk: Spot 29, Listen 15, Search 17. Wilderness Lore needed? I do get some bonuses from tracking from scent and whatnot, up to your discretion. Examining the scene. I should have picked up Knowledge (Shadowspwan)]

Darek shakes his head, not knowing where the Cpatin's wife is. "We need to keep searching. She could be dead or worse."

"Fade yes, or more," whoelse could have killed both the Captain and the Trolloc. Azara also scans for the telltale remnants of weaves, their objective might be female, so Darek would not pick up anything in his search for the residue of saidar.

"WHO screamed?"  She asked aloud.

Raiel hunts for herself.around the dead Captain's body.  The Trolloc's dead body was first. She looked for it sigil usually fasten to the breast,

"Treachery over treachery." Raiel says loud enough for the others to here.  This night may well entrench us here and let the Dark Sister get  further  away from us.

PM

[Private to Xander Bakura: Searching around Xander finds a faint female foot print leading towards the door leading to the kitchen.]
[Private to Rai'el: You find no sigil on it.]
[Private to Azara: You sense no residue at all.]

Re: Chapter 3.1: Wolf hunt for the Dark Sister
The man stays bent over, examining something after wrapping the sheet if found around the captains body. He mutters something perhaps some sort of prayer before moving towards the kitchen."Footprint. Female in size. Kitchen. Must have slipped by somehow. Melina, follow behind me then Darek. Azara and Rai'el take up the flank. River...stay close to them. Watch the back." Now he's giving orders? Looks like it. The gruff, obviously angry man growls somewhat as he heads towards the kitchen. He checks the axes at his belt and then grips the massive hafted axe in his hands tightly.

Azara takes up the flank with Raiel. "I felt no use of Saidin," she informs the others.

The group moved with care towards the door.

[Private to Darek Halchov: Someone is holding Saidar]
[Private to Xander Bakura: With his sharpened hearing Xander can hear what sounds as fighting behind the door.]
