Thayne moves over to make a place form Bren. "Please do," she said and did not look around at the others to see if the others agreed or not.   To her it was simple courtesy.

Bren waits Jennor and Ahlandra are seated before taking a seat himself "Thank you." he adds courtly but the warmth does not reach his eyes.

"I would suggest we keep a low profile as much as we can." he speaks softly "better not to show your face." he adds speaking to Hadara Sedai.

Thayna regards the lone Warder astutely "You are welcome Thayna says, but she notices that his eyes remain inexpressive. Sometimes she wished that he eye would show something and truly be alive because what she had seen for far was there was never nay "life" in his eyes. She turned to Nerissa before he caught her staring at him.  That would be rude of her.

Re: 4.2 White Tower
Bren did not look at the Domani Accepted, he could feel her eyes her pity on him. He had seen some of the sister act the same way, mostly green or yellows.

At least she did not try her own pet theory on how to rescue a warder, he had been subjected to several such treatments in the last four years. None seem to accept the fact that like a beheaded fade he was already dead but still to stubborn to admit it.

Instead he focus his attention on the Aes Sedai waiting for her command.

Re: 4.2 White Tower
Bren:
"May we join? it is late and the youngsters need their dinner." he asks motioning with his head at Jennor and Ahlandra.

Jennor grinned slightly as he silently rolled his eyes at the "youngster" remark.  If the man could make jokes or at least show a bit of lightheartedness, then he wasn't completely lost from the land of the living.

Jennor escorted Ahlandra to the table and held her chair for her before he took his own seat.

Jennor noticed out of the corner of his eye the interplay between Thayna and Bren.  He wondered if the others had come to the same conclusion he had regarding Bren's condition.  He also vaguely recalled some of the tales of proposed "home remedies" for "curing" a Warder who had lost his bonded Aes Sedai... some of the more "lively" treatments would have made even a Saldaean sa'sara dancer blush.

Jennor nodded his head in agreement as he said, "Yeah there are mixed feelings about the presence of certain individuals in town, but that just raises the overall atmosphere of tension.  I did get the impression our visitors are here with some kind of purpose, as if they are looking specifically for someone... rather than the usual "general persecution" as it were.  But maybe I'm reading too much into local gossip and rumor?"

Hadara nods briefly to the three returning to the table. "Sit and enjoy your meal." unspooken but very clear in her sharp eyes was "For now. "Besides in the city, are there any in the countryside or are they concentrated here?"  Hadara inquires. "What else hace you heard as well?"

If we have time, one o two of us should go scout ahead, if not then we might take shelter at a caravan heading to Caemlyn, hidden in plain sight."

"I shall have to make plans then that we travel undisturbed by the Whitecloaks. I think a coach will do with you all dress as guardsmen. I can call in a favor or two." Hadara says. "Bren, see what you can do about finding a coach, take one of the others as you choose."

Bren nods slowly "I will take young Elan with me, lady Bashan Kellan will stay with you. She will attract less attention and if anyone tries anything he will get a very nasty surprise." he give the woman a measured glance.

"How soon do you want me to make arrangements? and how soon do you wish to leave?"

"Finish your dinner, boy. You need to eat more," her sharp brown eyes as assessing him. Then she returns to her own meal. Though Bren, you know her eyes are still watching, if not you then everything around her.  She dropped her voice low.  You must be careful they have spies not all wear those Whitecloaks regardless of what they say about walking in the light they use the agents in the dark as well.  You know the name and reputation I use sometimes when traveling use it.

Bren give the Aes Sedai a cool glare but when he speaks his voice is polite and calm, enduring one would say as if he had not known there are spies everywhere  "Of course. In what names shell I address your companions?" he asks his gaze flickering on the two accepted.

Re: 4.2 White Tower
Jennor glanced at Bren as he was volunteered for the coach search and he merely nodded his head silently in agreement.

Jennor wasn't sure how much longer he would need to put with being called "young".  Clearly Bren was unfamiliar with Ebou Dari customs where generally a boy was considered a man by they time he: 1) turned 16, 2) fought his 10th duel, or 3) killed his 3rd man... often the three conditions occurred around the same time.  As for Jennor, he had surpassed each of those milestones (and then some) for quite awhile ago.

But now was not the time to make an issue of it.  However, once Jennor had rightfully earned the honor to openly wear his Heron-marked sword as a true Blademaster, then it might be time to revisit this issue of "age".

Instead, Jennor turned towards Hadara and said, "Mistress Hadara, you mentioned our being clothed as "guardsmen" to aid in the general public impression you wish to convey.  Do you possess those uniforms at present?  I ask because I think it might be wise if Bren and I were "properly attired" before heading out to secure the use of a coach."

Jennor glanced at Hadara and said cautiously, "Mistress Hadara, you seem reasonably familiar with this area.  Is this level of Whitecloak presence and activity normal for this area... or does it speak of some unusual purpose or motivation on their part?  How far is this town from Amadicia?  Are we not within the Realm of Andor?  Or does the Queen's Peace not extend this far?"

Hadara looks steadily at Jennor and Bren then at the others. "No, it isn't.  I don't know what is going on and I don't have any Eyes and Ears in this place to find out what has been going on.  The Queen of Andor has no love for the Whitecloaks, she keeps them away from the capital and Andor as much as possible ir she did.  There are a few people I can trust but I do not know if they are in  town or at the capital.  Find a caravan or is you can find out the Lord Draconholt is in resident at his hunting lodge let me know. His please is not to far form here and they should know if he is getting supplies from the shops here.

Re: 4.2 White Tower
The mention of a Lord sparked a memory for Jennor as he said, "Oh that reminds me, I don't know if it is important or relevant or not, but Ahlandra and I did spot a fancy coach parked in the courtyard of a rather rich looking Inn.  It could be nothing but most of the other places seemed to be catering to locals and/or Whitecloaks.

What does Lord Draconholt's coat-of-arms look like?"

Jennor glanced for a moment over at Ahlandra and added, "Do you recall Ahlandra whether that fancy coach we spotted outside the rich inn had any sort of emblem, marking, or coat-of-arms on it?"

Ahlandra lean closre to Jennor "I can't say that I really looked at it." but wasn't Draconholt the place we stopped at briefly?  Azara said her father was a lord and she gave her last name as Draconholt.

Re: 4.2 White Tower
Jennor shrugged as he looked from Ahlandra to Hadara and said in an uncertain tone, "I'm not really sure... I don't know if we're talking about the same people.  Mistress Hadara, I got the impression that the Lord Draconholt you're speaking of is a "local lord" for these parts, no?

But the home we stopped off at on our journey to the Two Rivers would be a fairly long distance from this town.  Does Lord Draconholt have multiple homes spread so far apart?

As for this other home, we didn't so much visit it as seek shelter.  We came under attack by a massive flock of hostile raven, no doubt unnaturally motivated to violence by the Dark One's will.  We sought shelter in the home as well as to provide protection to those living there by repelling the ravens, whittling down their number.  While Ladies Nerissa and Thayna handled significant numbers together with their combined efforts, I remember facing multiple opponents in the kitchen as they attempted to enter through the chimney.

But that was awhile ago... well before we met up with you Mistress Hadara."

"You will check on the coach  that you saw. Depending on who the owner, we might be able to acquired it use for a time or we will have to see about hiring a coach.  Whitecloaks should not bother a lord's coach very much. New of such would go straight to the Queen.  So enjoy you dinner for now." Hadara Sedai finishes softly.

Re: 4.2 White Tower
Thayna looks to Nerissa, her mouth rather turned down.  She did not like to be left out of what was going on.  Truly she had change from the mostly obedient Accepted that she had been and blossomed into what she was becoming.  IT was difficult to go backwards in her mind but she tried hard to keep it up for now. Thayna wonder if Nerissa felt the same way. She then give Nerissa a slight smile instead of the frown.  They would do what they had to until they were made Aes Sedai hopefully that would be soon.

They had learned so much on this mission.  They were stronger, knew many new weaves that Melina had taught them and how to use them in creative ways. Ways that the Aes Sedai had never taught them about. they had use the One Power as a weapon as a soldier uses his sword or spear.  She knew the Oath that they would have to swear on the Oath rod when they became Aes Sedai but we was had the beginning of doubt about that oath it limited an Aes Sedai in many ways. As an Accepted she had done things with the one Power that they would not be able to do once they sword the Oaths.

Re: 4.2 White Tower
Nerissa saw the frown on Thayna's face and wondered at its cause. Nothing had happened, yet, from Hadara Sedai's seeming inquiries and threats. It was a time for reflection and contemplation, quite the opposite of the time so recently in which they were fighting trollocs and worse.

She saw a smile replace the frown and knew that Thayna was thinking about their recent adventures as well. There was much that they needed to talk about. Both before they were offered, or denied, the opportunity to take the tests to become Aes Sedai, and afterwards... assuming that both were successful!

Nerissa was feeling a little guilty as well. Melina and Azara had shared knowledge of certain Weaves with Thayna and herself. But Nerissa had learned and developed some Weaves herself that she never had had the opportunity to teach the others. Some were pretty commonplace... but others might be powerful, with the person wielding them.
