Re: 7.1 The White Tower
If Hadara Sedai had wanted him to stay behind and wait, Alemveon believed she would have told him so.  She had sent Alecho to get him with the intent of bringing him to her...and he was determined to find out why.

Unless told otherwise, Alemveon will remain at Alecho's side as he follows her.

Hadara starts to move to the stairs to the Mother Offices.  Hadarae checks to make sure everyone is following and frowns when she sees the two men stand still where they had stopped. .

"I didn't have Alecho bring you here to act as Tower guards.  You two come with me as well," she broadly gestures to the two Warders-in-Training.

"Now," she adds, her tone not accepting any denial.

Talis bows his head to her and follows dutifully. He remains quiet. Even though there are questions racing through his mind, he remains quiet as he knows how the Aise Sedai work. They will reveal what is necessary as the need arises. He has nothing but respect, awe, and trust in the Aise Sedai and will gladly give his life for them.

Re: 7.1 The White Tower
hadara led the small parade up the stairs to the Amyrlin's office In the antechamber she went forward after motioning the other to wait.  She went forward to the foor knocked and entered the Amyrlin's inner office. In a moment she returned and motions you all into the room.

The hard clear tones of the Amyrlin dropped into the silence of the room, "This had better be important,"  She motioned her keeper out of the room. The set wards against eavesdropping.  "What is it?"

Berelain was sin the Tower Library tonight plotting with another to kill two new Aes Sedai.

Suiane Sanche's eyes focused on Hadara, steely daggers.

Hadara continued "There are only two newly made Ses Sedai that have any connections to Berlain.  Nerissa and Thayna.   They need to leave here for their own safety."

That you don't have to remind ,e about and I can draw a line though that school of fish.  "That traitor dares to come back and threaten my tower." Suiane  bit of what else she was going to say.

Turning to the two Aes Sedai  and the two warders-in-training,  Eying the men closely  She recognized Alem but the other was new to her. "So you brought these two men to be bonded by these girls? Are they agreeable to that, or haven't you even asked them yet.  I remember you trick of steamrolling people Hadara?"

Well, Alem and you, she spoints to Talis and then looks at both men, Are you ready to be bonded to one of these two Aes Sedai?

With a reverence in his voice rarely heard, Alemveon moves to a knee and bows his head in supplication as he speaks to the Amyrlin:

"I am ready to be bonded - she who is from all Ajahs and yet of none.  To be bonded to an Aes Sedai should be the desire of any who train to become a warder...and they should be prepared to make that commitment at a moments notice."

The Amyrlin Seat notions Nerissa and Thayna to her side.  Pay attention well this must be done precisely.  The Mother weave the Warders Bond, once twice and then again. She had each of them repeat it after her until she is satisfied.  Here also is another on you Need and she wove Voice of Power and Ward against People.

"I don't like this Hadara. but we do not have much choice,  They made their way here safely and they will have to see to themselves.  I will give you letters for writ before you go from each of you Ajahs to draw on funds.  And I will add this.  She sat down adn wrote out a writ form the Amyrlin herself. Naming both Nerissa and Thayna in it she added  "You can draw on funds as needed," She hands them a list of names and location.  "These are my people." Out of a drawer on her desk she pulls and rather large bad.  Decide it out amongst you as soon as possible. There are gens and coins enough for some time so that you can get away from her without drawing attention to yourselves.  Now wait here and Bond you Warders will I make a few more arrangements.+

Suane motions Hadara to follow her out of hear short of the four no preparing themselves, the new Warders to be bonded and for the New Aes Sedai bonding their first Warders.

I don't like this, but they can't stay here and I cannot risk them being sent to anywhere that anyone else might know about. I will have horses brought around as soon as you can get new mounts and tell them to keep disguised as much a possible.

"Light,I hope I am not sending them off like fingerlings in the the Silverpikes jaws".

Thayna's mind was already made up.  She walks over to Alem. "I would have you as my Warder." she states clearly and rather boldly, which is slightly soften by the added "I hope you will let me bond you.".

Re: 7.1 The White Tower
From just a little get together in Thayna's room to discuss that their rooms had been searched (and what were they going to do about it), events had cascaded to this: She and Thayna were being sent out on their own, mostly for their own protection, would be bonding warders, and were more-or-less being sent away with resources in the way of contacts and funding. They were not being given the full story by either Hadara or the Amyrlin. But, they were being given the independence to continue and try to fulfill whatever destiny that the Wheel and the Pattern had in store for them!

It was simple to learn Voice of Power and Ward Against People. However, Nerissa fumbled Bond Warder the first time, but learned it the second. She tried it a third time just to prove to the Amyrlin that she had learned it perfectly.

Nerissa din Nelyn rolled 32 using 1d20+21. Weavesight, learn Bond Warder, second attempt.

She looked at Talis who seemed both expectant and apprehensive. She knew very little about the man, probably a lot less than he knew about her. She and Thayna had not been secret about some of their exploits, and rumors were probably circulating about as well. Better to do this quickly. She approached him with purpose, concentrated and composed herself, then began the Weave. He could try to prevent it... or not.

Nerissa din Nelyn rolled 18 using 1d20+14. Composure.
Nerissa din Nelyn rolled 26 using 1d20+21. Concentration.

She finished the Weave and could now sense a connection between them.

Talis smiles as he feels the wave of the power flood him. Soon his senses are heightened to that of Narissa's and he immediately begins to feel her apprehensiveness. He smiles, still kneeling, "I promise you I will not dishonor you and that I will serve you in any way you need using what ever skills I can muster for you. My life is yours to command." She can feel that his words ring with truth and conviction. She can gather that he would still make this oath with or without the bond.

Re: 7.1 The White Tower
Thayna took Alem off to the side, She had actually learned the Bonding weave some time before this  but never said a word to anyone about it.  She practiced it with the Mother dutifully, just to make sure she had it right.  With a mixture or excitement and trepidation. especially  concerning the bond with a man.

Thayna wove the weave of Bonding and laid it on Alem. She waited to see what his response was with baited breath.

The bond went two ways. Even though it was new and the sense of the man before her was strange she was eager to learn as much as she could from  it.  For her part Thayna, was young but as a  Domani woman she felt up to the mark when it came to men.  Form the cradle it was said Domani girls were taught about men and handling men.  But there was only the wariness to this male who could tell as much about her as she could of him. Then that emotion was gone, at least the insularity and back in place was the confidence of her upbringing like a shield, only it could not close out this man not now.

Re: 7.1 The White Tower
As the bond was formed between Alemveon and Thayna, she would sense a duality within him.  On the one hand, she would sense his mind, structured and logical...the mind of a soldier...a leader of men....but on the other hand, she would sense his soul...his emotions...and the near rage that was constantly being contained...an animalisticness, as if he were part animal himself.  She might even be able to sense his connection with any of the wolves that might be nearby.

Re: 7.1 The White Tower
It wsa not way she had expected not at all, She had never guessed at the sense of the man that moved through the bond she had made. The strong sense of duty, yes, the sense of his command of others and of himself, but there was a raw barely contain emotions s that she drew back from exploring any further at this moment.

Those emotions felt like something was about to pounce over the bond. Thayna concentrated on her own self as if to shield herself for the moment from those overpowering emotions she sensed.  A strange man one that she would have to learn about in small doses.  Enough for now. She moved a few steps, turning away to compose herself but she knew he was there behind here.

"I am, ready" is what she said but it was really--we are ready, The sense of the truer statement moved along the new forged bond between them.

Re: 7.1 The White Tower
Nerissa had heard that each of the participants of such a bond could sense things about the other. She wondered what Talis Lee, or just Talis now, could sense about her. Purpose, certainly.

She had always been a realist, rather than a dreamer, even as a young girl. Perhaps that is why she had studied nature initially, and then the physical world later on. She was more of a generalist rather than a specialist, although she had an interest in channeling traditions, mechanical devices, and, of course, jewelry.

She could not really understand emotions well, and so had never studied them. She had never felt that she really fit into her Atha'an Miere culture. When she had discovered that she had the ability to channel, she knew that she was destined for the White Tower.

She tried to sense if Talis were more than a set of fighting skills. Could she talk to him... or no? She could think and concentrate as well as anyone. But it sometimes helped to have a different perspective on things.

She had a high life energy, or at least she thought so, and was not a bookworm who never exercised. She had a strong will, but then so did many Aes Sedai.

It might be interesting to study this bond, from an academic perspective of course! Had any of the Brown Ajah studied the bond before? She would have to check that out!

Re: 7.1 The White Tower
Talis looks up to Nerissa and smiles as he stands. Talis is a complexed man. Deep within his memories holds a terriable secret. She can sense he is doing his best to keep it locked away deep within the recesses of his complexed mind. For now, sense of honor, duty, loyalty, and spirit is what she gets from him. "Are you ready, Nerissa Sedai?"

Re: 7.1 The White Tower
Alemveon could sense Thayna pulling away from the sensation of the the strong emotions he emitted but could tell through the bond that it wasn't so much an action prompted by fear, but rather by surprise...as though she hadn't expected to be able to experience it as strongly as she had and would have to experience it gradually rather than all at once.

At her statement of being ready he could sense that she meant something different than what she had said...his simple response was:

"Yes...yes we are."

Re: 7.1 The White Tower
I so not know what has happened twice I posted in this thread but neither has shown up.
I will try this again.

When Alecho returns it is with two Warders cloaks which his hands one each to Alem and Talis.

"Listen to me.  You are to be shield shield against danger. Your life before theirs, always.  If they die you will die soon after. How go and keep them safe.  Be ever vigilant and on guard.

The Mother walks over to a bookcase and with a weave a secret opening appears. She cast light on a torch and holds it out for one of the Alecho to take. to take. Lead them to the stables and then return here.  She hands then two lists one each to the Aes Sedai.  "

These are my eyes and ears, loyal to me and me alone. IF you have need go to them none other."

The small group of newly   made Aes Sedai and they newly bonded Warders, make there way down long spiraling stairs that one suspect lies between the outer walls of the Tower and the inner walls. eventually they head up again and at the end of a ramp Alecho pushed open a trap door that opens into a tack room in the stables the scent of horses and leather is pungent in their nostrils.

Once out of the tack room they find four horse waiting for them.  You will ride straight for the Lion's Pride and change horses.  pack animals will be all packed and ready for you with supplies. get out of the city as quickly as you can  He passed over several hefty purses to each of them.

"There are guards on the gate but two Aes Sedai and their Warders are not questioned as they ride out into the night.

Nerissa and Darek make a spot roll DC 13  Talis and Alem make a spot roll 15

A couple is strolling away from the Tower gate.  She is taller than he and her hood is down and pale red=gold hair flows down hr back.  The make is just a bit shorter than she his hair dark as are his clothes a sword hangs at his wait and it is not their for decoration.

10:18, Today: Alemveon Banivardimor rolled 30 using 1d20+17. spot check vs DC 15.

Both Talis and and Alem easily see the couple but it is Nerissa and Thayna that recognize them.  Melina is in that lovely sapphire blue gown that she often wore, while  Darek in his usual dark colors. Of Raiel there was no sight. but she might have stayed out of the city or was hiding somewhere about.  The two new Aes Sedai knew Raiel was never far from Melina.
