Suanne Sanchi the Amyrlin Seat stare fard at both Novices, "Fish Guts!" You don't expect me to believer you held off Trollocs and Fades with just you two and you guards, with a couple of traveler,  a fighter and an Ogier? "All byyourselves?" Fillet me for a fool if I believed that.

Re: 7.1 The White Tower
We did because we laid a trap for them. Someone who had been out of town and saw them warned us all.  The town was celebrating a wedding. The women and children were sent across the river.

Nerissa and I ad time to lay a trap for the Trollocs. We used walls of hardened air  like a funnel in the town The river keep them closed in a bit the walls cut them  off from the towns.  By narrowing the opening only one or two could fight those who were actually fighting. The rest used bows and rocks, and fire.  We had to close off the back part so they couldn't run out of the troop.  We almost couldn't get that done in time.  After that it was just a matter of killing them in there trap.

We took no part in that, we only built the walls of hardened air.

Had she said too much, or just enough to be believed?  When she thought about it now is seems so much worse than going through it at the time.  There was no way she was going to disclose the larger groups that they had routed in the mountains around Emmon's fields.

The Amyrlin listened without comment.  You are right Hadara these information must be sealed to the Toe and as for these two.  They must be sealed as well.  Listen and listen well both of you will be raise to full sisters.  All of this that you have learn about these events is to be brought to me and me alone.  If anyone asks , you have been told not to say a word and they, whoever they are can come to me.

You will have three times that you will be allowed to test and three only. No thing has changed.

Hadara escort them to their room stay with them until it is time for their test.

Re: 7.1 The White Tower
Nerissa was glad that she had managed to compose herself before the Amyrlin had made her outburst of disbelief. Thankfully, she and Thayna had managed to share the tale so that the burden had not fallen upon just one of them!

There had been no mention of Murane Sedai, so Nerissa had not had to mention the letter in her possession- or that bit about the Dragon Reborn! In fact, since the Amyrlin had not asked any more questions, Nerissa was not about to speak up for any reason.

Three chances to pass! Nerissa was confident that she could pass the first time. She knew that Thayna was not as confident, and wished that she could assist her in some way. Maybe there was a way.

On their way to their room, Nerissa said nothing. But when they reached their room, she whispered, "We need to talk about this."

She wished that she had had the nerve to attempt to learn the Circle of Silence Weave! But, that might have caused more trouble than it was worth.

Thyna just nodded  a veriest bitto Nerissa.

To be made full sister was her dream but she had not expected it to be for years yet.  Her heart leaps in joy but tinged  with a portion of panic as well.  "I am a rose unfolding to the light," she began the inward litany that helped her to compose herself.

"Oh, Light" she breathed out in a gasp.

Nerissa and Thayna might have though that things were moving rather quickly but the truth was it was moving faster that they ever suspected.  "Hadara, show them down to the Test room/  I will be there shortly.  Each Ajah will send their representative This will be done as soon as all have gathered."

Nerissa looked at Thayna... and tried not to grin. She was ready! She hoped that Thayna was ready too.

Nerissa walked along, following Hadara Sedai down to the test room.

Re: 7.1 The White Tower
The massive three arched Ter'angreal sat near the center of the floor. The rest of the room was bare except for a small table whereon sat the slim ivory Oath Rod.  If an Accepted passed the test then the Aes Sedai Oath must be taken and the Oath rod bond them to their word, forever. As they waited sister from each ajah appeared and took yo their places. last to enter was The Mother, Suiane Sanchea

"Let all take there places and let the ancient test begin. Both of you ,must must know that your will only be given three chances to pass this test, three and only three. All must be complete or you failed. Remember all you have been taught be strong.  The way forward will come but once in each test.  You must not delay to move on to the next phase.  Some have gone through these arches never to return. Some come out changed.  Be Strong Trust in the light.

Nerissa din Nelyn, You will be first. You may enter only clothed in the Light.

Nerissa knew that she was meant to enter the Terangreal alone, by herself, and with nothing else...at all. And so she complied. She knew that she must be steadfast and trust in the Light.

When she was ready, she Composed herself and approached the arch. "I am ready!"

Nerissa din Nelyn rolled 15, Composure/maintain calm, DC15. Nerissa still made the DC, despite her natural 1, according to the Player's Guide, p.67.

Re: 7.1 The White Tower
The ceremony for raising accept is all tradition.  action and the words where all a part of tradition.

The two Accepted ere told that all needed to enter each of the three arches one and a time. Nerissa first then Thayna.  There is not hint of what is to happens once in there but they are told to stand steadfast to their desire to become Aes Sedai. Only two things are mentioned one a hint the other a warning.  The hint is that what comes to them once they had entered a arch were individual to them and never to be spoke of to anyone.  The second it that what is in there is real and not real but can be as deadly as reality if they are tempted to stay.  Some Accepted have never returned through the other side of the archways, other have come out mad or their abilitiy to use the One Power stripped form them.  One last warming was that the way through to the other side would come but once if they failed to reach the way out they would remain forever lost to this world.

Nerissa was first to enter one time through each of the arches the resonated with the one Power.

Re: 7.1 The White Tower
Nerissa entered the first arch. She had been warned to stand steadfast in her desire to become an Aes Sedai.

She would not be distracted by anything or anyone that she encountered within, nor would she ever speak of it or them afterwards...

She would not be tempted to stay within, no matter who or what would demand her attention or her time, and she would take that first opportunity to go through to the other side.

Re: 7.1 The White Tower
Good intentions were all right but the "reality", the virtually reality sucked Nerissa into that new world and it seemed to her to be all that she had ever know Why she was there exactly had faded.  There was the vague remembrance of the need to find something but she was caught up in this reality.  It tugged at her memories made real dreams she had had for herself It took her attention away from why she was here and tried to submerge her in this time and place.  When the shimmering outline appeared she knew it was the way out, well sort of, But the reality of this place yank at her  to stay here.

Her own dreams and fantasies made real were difficult to deny.

Nerissa tried to focus on her reasons for being here in this confusing place. She tried to test her memory. Was that shimmering outline the way out? Or was it her destiny to remain here?

Nerissa din Nelyn rolled 19 using 1d20+14. Composure Check to focus.

Re: 7.1 The White Tower
The situation Nerissa was in tugged at her to stay. Her people needed her. IF she left now lives would be lost both friends and family. Nerissa however knew that that outline was something she had to remember. Something important, but was it as important as saving her family and friends.  All she had to do was channel a patch in the hull before the ship sank below the waves with no land in sight.

The choice family and friends or some vague memory about that shimmering doorway in the air.

Re: 7.1 The White Tower
Nerissa unconsciously had been attempting to focus but was wavering. She was being distracted by circumstances and was unable to concentrate. Then, just when she was about to surrender to calls upon her loyalty, family and friends, the outline of light triggered a memory. She had another calling and had to will herself to move towards the outline.

Suddenly, she was certain. Natural 20! She had to move on despite the tugs of heart and home. She had a higher calling and demand upon herself and her will to help the world. She moved towards and through the doorway.

Re: 7.1 The White Tower
As Nerissa tore herself away and moved towards the shimming outline of a doorway she stepped through into the dold room holding the ancient ter'angrel of three arches. Memories flooded back to Nerissa true memory of why but the feelings engendered by the situation she had been in had not yet faded. Her face was awash with the anguish of leaving so much unfinished. even as reality settle around her.

"Do not talk of your experiences" came a voice as Nerissa a gathered herself.

"Will you go on?" Nerissa was asked. by another voice

"If you give up now you will only have two more chances left." said a third.

Nerissa had wanted so much to be an Aes Sedai! She had been so unhappy at home, with many of the Atha'an Miere making fun of her for her seasickness. She had traveled from Tremalking all the way to Tar Valon just so she could study in the White Tower. She could not stop now!

Yes, I can go on! No, I will not talk of expereinces! "I am ready to go on!"

Re: 7.1 The White Tower
Nerissa is guided to the nest archway. As soon as she passes through again she is in a world very like this one.  Again people are in need of her abilities.  You do what you can, because that is your way,  You never stood by the side and let other do what you could do better. And so this time duty, caring, and humanity tug you to stay and help.  The why you are here rapidly faded as the needs of the many weighed on you.

You were just about to get a handle on it all when the shimmering opening appeared.

What was that your wondered. However the exigencies of the moment took your attention away from the strange shimmering outline.  Just a few more weaves and you could secure the breech in the wall.

Time?

Why was that important especially when so many were counting on you?

What was the shimmering light for?

Nerissa's mind tried to grasp a fleeting memory.

Re: 7.1 The White Tower
Nerissa knew that she was able to help in this place. It was not like her to stand off and let others do the work. She was having a positive effect, and had almost secured things for the better.

The wall was just about fixed! Just a little bit more! Then she could let the others here take over with a clear conscience.

There was a shimmering outline of an opening! What did that mean? She tried to Compose herself. Maybe she would remember what it meant.

Nerissa din Nelyn rolled 27 using 1d20+14. Composure.

She had others to help. Was that it? On the other side of the gate. The people here would have to complete the wall on their own.

Nerissa moved reluctantly towards the shimmering. It was not like her to leave things unfinished, but she had to move on...

Nerissa exited the second arch he emotions in her control, barely.  The last arch waited her.  Words were repeated about if she did not finish she would have o one less chance to become Aes Sedai. only 2 chances left.  Nerissa with her mind on her goal knew she was going though the last ring of the Great Ter'angreal

Whatever had gone before this experience in wherever the last archway lead. It torn at Nerissa's resolve. He desire to help other in desperate need.

Would she follow her heart or her quest to become an Aes Sedai.  There are times Nerissa is not even sure what she should do.

The third and last arch enter by the Accept on her first try to become Aes Sedai.  All the precautions were spoken again.  He chance to stop now also offered.  Whatever had gone on before this last archway in a strange yet familiar place with people she thought she knew, but had never met yet. olf faces new faces and Trials that tore at her resolution to see this though. Especially, since this place and these people seen so familiar to her and needed her, and the words spoken before she entered a fading memory.

Nerissa listened again to the cautions from the Aes Sedai, but she would not stop the test now.

Nerissa din Nelyn rolled 17, Composure/maintain calm, DC15.

"I am ready." She entered with some trepidation, confident yet well aware of potential pitfalls. Only one more to go! Surely this would be the most difficult of the three, but she could persevere and succeed.

Re: 7.1 The White Tower
It was the worst , but then again while she was in where she was she did not know this.  It was only later that comparisons could be made.  This world was her reality all was familiar people the events, the dangers she faces as well were real.  Nerissa was at some point in her future truth be told, but it would never be spoken of by Nerissa or others.  Another aspect of these experiences in the three arches was that memories faded quickly. Perhaps that was a mercy, perhaps not. Strife was rife in the land.  the Forsaken were lose form their entombment.  the dark Ones seals were nearly all broken.  Nerissa had the task of protecting one seal, though she did not have it in her possession at the moment.  She had been on her way to take it form its hiding place.

When she and five other sisters were attacked in the tower itself. Sister  against sister, in this case black sisters against her group. with then a fade, and Trollocs. Warders fought the Trollocs and Fade but the Back sisters were difficult Nerissa was amongst the most powerful wielder there,  Hence, the reason she was in charge.  Her decision was to stay and fight or go for the seal, torn by that choice a hazy outline of a door appeared to the right with a symbol glowing above it. she Made her decision, but the hazy outline remain though it began to fade gradually and then more quickly. there was something that tugged at her mind. But the pressures of her current dilemma had her turning away form the hazy fading image.

Nerissa had the feeling that there was something she should have remembered, but.......
