Saul, sits and ponders what Van said, and is over come with feelings of guilt.  For he was with the men that killed his companion.  He knows in his heart that he will have to work to repay the many evils that he had is part in and hopes that one day he will be able to repay Van for his loss.

Anniyan stays far away form the quarrel as possible knowing that if he is to get involved he is not going to have any chance of joining these mercenaries. Anniyan had longed for the opportunity to join a group of soldiers ever science he got saved by the savages and brought to the forest by this town. So far this has been the first group to cross his path and as soon as he hears Xion’s words he realizes that his chance has finally come. So he contemplates the situation in his head and decides not to blow his chance by doing some thing to the CS soldier at the moment. He then looks at Xion and says “ chief I’m always down fo sum coalition blood” and he begins to scope the area for weapons and any other goods he can use.

 At Zephram's assurance the big 'Borg seems to brighten somewhat, sitting more squarely and generally seeming to be more cheerful about the whole situation - a state of affairs he's probably forgive the mage for at some point.

 "Come on, might as well earn scratch money..." he suggests to Okom, begining to move off once more as the team finishes checking out the town, until such time as alternative orders become available.

   Lotus fetches her sword and studies it with a worried look on her face as she walks back over to pick up Renaldo's bracelet and Saul's photograph.  She sheathes the katana knowing that it may be irreparably damaged while walking off to sit on a piece of collapsed wall and conduct her psychometric readings.

   It will take her several minutes for each object.

At the 'borg's word, Okom moves on, heading over towards Tecumseh's position.  Taking the advice to heart, though, the Catyr merc does keep an eye out for anything that may prove useful at a later time.

When he arrives, Okom sketches a quick nod to the knight.  "I thought you may be able to use my help with the town.  I was helping some of the folks in the outlaying areas do just this right before I met up with you all in Hillcrest."

"Ren if you are planning on joining on with these men - your attitude will have to change. You may be better suited to join up with that army down there (pointing to the army to the south)"This group has just finished a major battle and will be returning for repairs, and briefings. They wont be back in action for maybe a day or two, if you don't mind the wait. But I do not think this is the group for you Ren - it will break out into violence eventually. I have always found it is best to avoid such situations before they happen..."

   "With respect, sir, I'd like permission to bring Renaldo with us back to Hillcrest.  I agree that discipline is a vital attribute to have on a team, but so is the ability to survive a sword slash to the throat."
   If Sarah is up and about, Zephram will ask her if she feels up to assisting Renaldo with his injury.

Sheeit maybe you should take one of dem fusion blocks and stick it up yer azz sucka. Ren says in reply to Vans suggestion. Walking up to Zephram Ren gives him a "five" in greeting getting blood on the mans hand. Wassup my brutha? Man I ain't sweatin none of dis here shit. When Sachi Beki speaks Ren says, Chief you must be trippin fo' rizzle. If these peeps want me to slide then all they got to do is say the word and I will roll out. Cept for punkass Mr. Clean over there I don't give a fuck what he says. Ren turns down the healing waving off the injury like it is no big deal.

Sarah first bandages her own face, using a mirror. Her nose has been completely smashed in.

After that, she dizzily makes her way to Zephram and Ren with a medical kit. She injects Ren with IRMSS if he will accept, and hold the wound closed at the same time. Sarah is a gorgeous woman, even with a busted nose - it only goes to show how strong she is. Even Ren is silenced at least for a second as she puts her hands on his neck.

Zephram and Slate create "Earthen" fortifications in the town, and Van has burried the dead comrades.

Xion and Zephram are trying to get a move on, and everyone is finishing up whatever they were doing.

It is time for final good-byes to the Warlocks, and Tecumseh. Along with Okom, whom are all staying behind.

Arthur moves away from the warlocks, merely nodding as he passes.  anxious to get underway.

 'Masque trails in with a considerable burden in parts and equipment that might reliably be converted at some point in the near future to the credits that the team needs to re-equip - well, those parts of it that are mercenary enough not to have more than their basic needs handled by their employers.

 He makes a point of avoiding the part of town that the Necromancer is performing his blasphemous little degeneracies in, and of course ensures that the various prisoners in his charge are kept safely restrained and together to reduce the chances of their doing anything as foolish as some of the others - if possible some sort of wheeled, unpowered conveyance such as an old car or a farm cart might be useful for transporting them, and if he's found one he'll make use of it until they return to the APC.

   Lotus completes her object readings and reports that neither Renaldo or Saul appear to be hiding anything - at least nothing that would be revealed by psychometry.  She returns the photograph and the bracelet to their respective owners.  Immediately afterwards, she goes to visit Razgriz...
   But after sorting things out with the lizard man, she is ready to move with everyone else.  She doesn't make any effort to say good bye to any warlock or assist in the transport of salvage (unless asked).  Lotus will walk towards the rear of the group in order to keep a better watch on the three new members, but focusing mostly on Renaldo.  She doesn't voice any further concern, just keeps a watch.

Xion seems pleased with the efforts of the group in the clean up process, and even more pleased with the fortifications and traps they have set to aid in the towns defense. "Well then, lets get back to HillCrest shall we."

   Zephram is relatively happy with their job in Izmit.  It saddens him to not have found Seidon after the battle and he gives his condolences to the other three warlocks before leaving.  But there is still much more work to do, so Zephram moves to travel alongside Xion for a time and discuss some of what lies ahead.

Xion nods thoughtfully as Zephram speaks to him, then coughs a bit before answering.

Arven sits atop his ostrosaurus outside of Izmit enjoying the nice breeze that is blowing and the day that is rather nice despite the carnage behind him. He slowly sips on his last bottle of Mezcal hoping that he will be able to buy something similar back in Hillcrest. He falls in with the group as they exit the ill fated town.

Sharp does his absolute best to ignore all of the dead citizens of Izmit as he disables the hastily placed explosive charges he finds. It is good that he has a little time alone as he is able to release some emotion in private and remind himself that he is a professional soldier. Swollen eyes hidden behind his crimson mask and goggles he makes his way out of Izmit stopping to give Okom some of the Coalition ordanance he found. He pats the man on the shoulder and nods to the warlocks as he jogs to catch up with the rest of the company. Looking at the treeline in the distance he cannot help but feel for Tolkeen.  "These people aren't fighting to win...They are fighting to preserve a way of life. When you place to high a value on your pawns you will quickly find yourself in checkmate. This will be a good place to die.

Before the group sets off he will say a brief word to both Okom and Tecumseh, then he will quietly get ready and continue with the rest of the group, staying back of the group.

Fearless walks alongside Xion. He says nothing but obviously does not trust the new recruits.

Sarah opens the back door for Silvermasque to shove the borg into. She then helps him bring in the PA pilot, and she straps him down to a stretcher.

She strips the grunt of his armour, to find out she is a woman, named "Shales". All weapons, and personals are taken, and Shales is left in her uniform; and then tied up, and put under the battered borg, for added restraints.

Sarah asks that someone else ride in the ATV for added protection.

Jelme and Tecumseh shake hands, and then hug.

"Good bye my friend, may our destinies cross paths again."
 "Good luck to you as well Okom"

Jelme mounts his robot horse and moves out with the rest of them.

Mephisto rides alongside Arven. Meph doesn't say much - he is not one for small talk. But there is somethign about Arven that interests Mephisto - it could be respect... could be...

Mithas, cruises along with the platoon, keeping his words to himself.  Maybe his silence betrays his thoughts... he looks around to the other members of this rag-tag group and his thoughts stray to Dead Bolt and Saila...
He kicks his bike into gear and heads for the front of the pack...

Ajax finally return with some spoil of to Zephram. But, Ajax's keeps some of it for himself (mostly the best). Then his prepare to leave with the others. As he leave town, he says to the Cyberknight staying in the town, "Fight well, Cyber Knight...And to a answer to a question. he are trained in the use of Psi-sword and it weakness. We can make it stronger, then you can...But, you have the talent to use it far better than most..." He rejoin the other as they are leaving.
