"There are maybe 3 squads of them I think. Several SAMAS pilots and several dog-boys. They are special forces I believe. When we get up there, just make sure nobody stays in the same place for too long. After a few seconds they will blow you away with everything they have. And some of the best advice I ever had - try to act scary... these dead-boys are suckers for flashy tricks."

Sacha and Tecumseh manage to keep up with the group, while half-carrying a barely concious air warlock named Kandiah.

   "Sacha, if Kandiah isn't going to help us in the battle, put him in the ATV where Sarah can watch him.  I can't have Kandiah occupying both you and Tecumseh."
   Zephram will direct his spell to either break through the floor of the main level or the basement of the north building - whichever he comes to first.  He will stand by with his squad while Razgriz takes his team inside.  Zephram will have his spell continue digging to the east while he waits with his squad for perhaps fifteen seconds.  If after that time, Razgriz's team has not engaged the enemy, Zephram will continue with his squad to the last building.

Ajax fall in with Zephram's squad, he position himself in rear of the squad. But, ever so ready for anything to happen.

The knowledge that the other two squads are now above ground and possibly in trouble... though the radio is silent... is making this group quite anxious.

Seemingly slower than before, Zephram's elemental powers dig through the dirt below Izmit... closer, yet so far to that point when they reach the surface...

   Zephram walks right behind the unseen force digging the tunnel with his staff in one hand and what looks like a shot gun similar in design to the staff in the other.  Zephram speaks aloud to everyone with him.
   "We are going to be the last squad to reach the surface.  That means we will probably be the safest.  If the others encounter any resistance, any troops in our area will likely be on their way to meet the others.  This will give us the highest element of surprise.  But I want everyone to be ready for anything.  We might have the advantage, but our opponent is cunning."

Fearless moves up beside Zephram, attempting to take point. Fearless is completely calm.

He carries a long barreled rifle, and walks steadily, in anticipation for some action... since his bike got hit back at the "sleeping" skelebots...

Atop his Silonar, Mephisto glances back at Ajax.

"Ajax, my friend... perhaps you should be one of the first out when we reach the surface. I am afraid that your shear strength will be... delayed if you are the last one out. I suggest you follow my companion To'Ra'on, as he will be first, wont you you little sack of shit"

Mephisto casts a spell, and has become chameleonized again.

He glances back to Sarah, Kandiah and the Coalition prisoner, in the ATV...

"I can't wait. Dear oh dear I can't wait" - he says this like a child opening his favorite presents at christmas... the demon is quite serious...

The Deevil walks ahead of Mephisto and his dinosaur-like ride, grinning sadistically...

Beams of light creep through the dirt as the surface becomes visible and fresh air is sampled.

Ajax pushes the Deevil aside and breaks through the dirt into the building. A open, one level building, clear of troops... but a family lays dead around the room. Men, women and children, 9 in total... shot to death at point blank range by Coalition (CS) weaponry...

To'Ra'on is second, followed by Zephram.

Fearless is fourth, followed by Tecumseh.

Mephisto and Sacha are next out of the hole.

Sarah stops the ATV at the mouth of the hole, and aims a pistol at the prisoner, while Kandiah sleeps...

Ajax looks at the dead family saying, "Giving death without honor is waste of time. Killing children bring NO challenge!...Secure, this building from any CS presence and scan the area for any other CS presence. To'Ra'on, you are with me, we have some killing to do!"

   Once he is again above ground, Zephram will move to a window on the west side of the building to peek outside and hopefully spot some hostiles without them spotting him.  He ignores the bodies in the building for the time being, stepping around them as necessary.

   "If this building is secure, then we must provide support for the other teams.  I want to move from building to building, mouse-holing our way to the battle scene.  Stay off the streets whenever possible.  We are to move quickly, but with security.  I don't want to be ambushed."

OOC - Zephram intends to simply bash through the walls of each building to get to the conflict, which by the direction, can probably be assumed to be Razgriz's squad.

   Zephram doesn't want to waste ammo on breaking through walls, so he points at To'Ra'on.  "Mephisto, have the deevil break a hole through to the next building large enough for the ATV."

   The earth warlock then moves to speak with Sarah.  "We need the ATV above ground.  It's coming with us."  Zephram waves his staff to the left and then the right, activating a telekinetic force just strong enough to push the bodies and furniture out of the way of the ATV so it will be able to drive right into the next building with the rest of them.

"I agree - get the ATV up here - but I suggest we send your deevil and perhaps Ajax directly to Razgriz - they need the help right away... the rest of us can provide moving cover, and WE can ambush whoever opens up at the two of them... what do you think Zephram?"

   Zephram mutters a short incantation which creates another wall made of sturdy looking clay flush against the existing wall he intends to break through.  This clay wall reaches right up to the ceiling and has an archway in the center large enough for an ATV to drive through.  "If the hole made in the wall causes too much structural damage, this should help to shore up the structure.  We still don't know where our enemies are and the sounds of battle do not mean all of our enemy has been engaged.  We will move with relative secrecy through the buildings."
   Zephram steps up to the building's wall in the middle of his archway and uses his staff to begin bashing through it.  The enchanted weapon should have little trouble tearing through to the other side.

The first wall is torn down, and the ceiling starts to give way...

Wooden boards are falling on the squad. Ajax and To'Ra'on charge out and into the next building ready to destroy what they find... but there are just more dead bodies...

Fearless and Tecumseh are right behind them, followed by Zephram, Sacha and Mephisto.

Sarah coasts the ATV along behind them.

   Moving into the next building will be carried out cautiously but quickly.  Zephram will move straight to the next wall, creating another clay archway to keep things safe for long enough to get to the next building.  Unless there are any enemies presenting themselves, Zephram will waste no time and continues towards the sounds of battle.

To'Ra'on and Ajax smash into the next building, still only finding dead bodies, but from across the street - a wall of fire tears into the structure, and through its' walls.



To'Ra'on charges out towards them with a war cry, and fury in his eyes. Becoming naturaly invisible on the way over...

Fearless dives for cover, and crawls in a prone position up to the wall facing the soldiers. He peers through a hole in the wall and takes aim with his rifle - and launching well placed shots into the helmets of the Coalition troops.

Tecumseh moves to the far corner and ducks, parrying one or two shots coming his direction.

Sarah keeps the ATV in the last building.

Mephisto moves over near Tecumseh and ducks while casting a spell.

Additional rifle fire tears through from the building above. Tecumseh is knocked off balance by one shot, and before he can regain himself completely, two arms bash trhough the wall from outside, grabbing Tecumseh by the head and pulling him through the rest of the wall, tearing it down in the process. The Coalition Juicer throws Tecumseh about 8 feet through the air onto his face. The Juicer laughs sadistically and opens fire on Mephisto.

Mephisto stands preparing to finish a spell. Before he does, a second juicer crashes through the opposit side of the building and kicks Mephisto, sending him flying out the same wall Tecumseh went through, just barely missing the juicer outside... or did he dodge...

The second juicer then kicks Fearless across the room into Ajax, Fearless bounces off, dropping his gun, and lands on the floor on his hands and knees.

At this point To'Ra'on becomes visible again as he ters open the wall across the street where the dog boys are fighting. The deevil grabs one of the mutts by his head and lifts him off the ground, while the others shoot into the deevils' guts. To'Ra'on throws away the dog boys' rifle, then places his head in his mouth and begins to gnaw on the dog boys' helmet.

To'Ra'on jogs back in Mephistos' direction, still gnawing...

Ajax being ready for combat, he is not surprise by the attack and have damage on his shield. He spring action after Fearless bounce off him. With turn to the closest juricer saying, "I will make your death as quicker than your p  attack. For you have played into my hands!", as he gives a diabolic laughs. Then he disappears.

As he reappears, he take a second suck-up from P.P.E. the dead juicer. Then he disappears again.  Reappearing, he suck-up the P.P.E. from the dead in a second, yet again.

Ajax looks around and see To'Ra'on returning with a Dog Boy in his mouth. He quickly runs over to the building where To'Ra'on coming out to jion the battle their.

Neither juicer is dead, and Ajax gets no PPE. Ajax is merely using time slip to get close to the first juicer (which one by the way?) and attacking him.

(Ajax you can roll strike if you want - but the juicer will get a chance to dodge still - he may be caught off guard.)

   Zephram lays low for the few seconds he needs.  His voice rumbles low but clear as he channels the magic energy that stretches out over the town from the nearby dragon line.  When his incantation nears completion, he rises to his feet and looks out across the street to target this particularly insidious magic.

Tecumseh rolls to his feet and stands prepared to take the cackling juicer hand to hand, psi-sword ready...

The juicer continues to laugh hardly with pause - his laugh changes from sadistic cackling to childish giggling as he sends blast after blast towards the cyber knight.

To'Ra'on is twisting and chewing on the helmet, ut the Coalition builds 'em tough...

The Deevil is distracted by his irresistable obligation to carry out his masters' wishes by defending him at all costs.

To'Ra'on drops the dog boy in the middle of the street and charges for the cackling juicer by means of going around the house, and thus around the other juicer, which is not his concern.

Sarah pulls out a second pistol, and while still keeping one at the bound prisoner, bends one arm out the window of the ATV and fires at the juicer fighting Ajax.

The prisoner gets courageous and throws himself on her, followed by a severe head butt to her face, fracturing her nose, rendering her unconcious.

Fortunately for the unconcious medic, the aged Air Warlock is awoken by the sound of her nose shattering.

While many mages swear off the use of fire arms and robotics, prefering the practice of their own powers. This is Tolkeen. We are at war.

Khandiah begins casting a spell just like a good classic wizard. However even apart from the modern "mage-punks" Khandiah can easily wield magic, and his trusty NG-57 laser pistol.

The prisoners face is completely annihilated leaving only a ring of bone. The former soldier, former prisoner, falls back against the dash board; twitching only slightly, wile his hair burns away from laser fire.

Sacha reaches out his right hand and points towards the cackling juicer outside, at which point the juicers' leg melts. The metalturns into super heated liquid, dripping onto the ground, mixed with blood...

Ajax disappears then reappears closer to the juicer inside the house. He reaches to grab the juicer, but misses. The juicer responds with 4 very well placed shots to the face.

Ajax is also shot twice from across the street. Zephram is hit once, also from across the street.


Fearless regains himself and backs into the corner, then heads for the hole in the wall where the squad came in.

Mephisto and Tecumseh stand to their feet. Mephisto moves back, and Tecumseh moves forward to take the juicer hand to hand. Tecumseh easily cuts down this juicer, as he has been crippled by the fire warlock... the juicer cackled until the fatal hack...

To'Ra'on comes around the corner and meets up with Mephisto, who orders him back into the slaughter.

Zephram takes a peak to see how his spell is working, Thus far this side of the building has lowered just over 5 inches... and the juicer is sent hurling by an unseen force into the wall of the sinking house. The Coalition juicer pushes off with his feet when he reaches the house, jumping, and landing half way back to Ajax...

   Across the street, the building where the dog boys are is now  slowly, but steadily sinking.  In fact, much of the street now appears soft as if the earth has been transformed to swallow any who wander across it.
   Zephram turns to face the juicer who is leaping back across the street and he draws his fear pistol.  If the Coalition drug enhanced soldier clears the quicksand spell, Zephram will fire the pistol at him, awakening the despotic entity which slumbers within...

Ajax doesn't worry about being hit twice, because he plan on killing a Juicer and knowing it didn't hurt him. He leap after the juicer Using Carpet of Adhesion on the juicer, then firing two burst (2 Triple busrt from each hand)from his two make lift weapons ( 2 set of CP-50 linked in each hand) into the head and follow up by 2 shot dual shot from a FIWS to the head.

The juicer stops dead in its' tracks, and stands in the middle of the street.

Ajax and Zephram will never know what made *her* stop moving... Zephrams' fear pistol or Ajaxs' immobilizing carpet of adhesion...

In any case Ajax blows the drugged up super soldier to bits.

The firing from the north stops, as Lotus and Jelme come into view literally cutting down the soldiers inside, and another man - covered in spike armour moving quickly about the house, blasting another soldier to death with a cannon fixed to his arm...

The firing from across the street continues, and in fact increases as two giant humanoids step out of the building, and a psychic trooper takes aim at the window. The chewed-on dog-boy, still in the street, backing up to his comrades.

The building is literally getting shredded, and everone iside takes fire.

(except for Ajax cause the troops are using energy weapons... oh wait... the borgs arent...)

Zephram is hit in the leg, hip and shoulder.


Fearless is hit in the chest, scorching his armour, and almost making him flinch.

Tecumseh is hit in both legs, and once in the chest. creating 3 severe burn marks in his armour.

Ajax stands with a dissappointment in the Coalition forces for being so ineffective... not yet knowing that Saila and Dead Bolt are dead...
He is shot several times but each one is absorbed into his armour until he is struck in the head twice by rail gun fire.


Sacha is hit twice in the shest of his armour.

Sacha steps forward while casting a spell.

A pit of lava opens beneath the building and the area of street holding the other troops. The enite group fall into the lava and begin to melt.... slowly.

Fearless begins a perfect round of head shots, killing two of the struggling dog boys, before reloading.

By this time AJax has gunned down one of the borgs.

Fearless continues on with the other dog boy and the psi stalker,

while Ajax takes out the other borg.

Half of the house has sunk, and the soldiers inside are dead. The rest of the house is ablaze, and is sinking steadily.

Ajax looks at the borg with a smile. Knowing that Railguns hit his defense field. Ajax quickly activate another Armor of Ithan spell. Then fires four mini-missles (Plamsa) at the ground (1 foot) of the borg. thinking to himself, 'Run tin can, I will enjoy popping your brains'.

Ajax use weapons again to fire another dual blasts from both weapons and all hell as Ajax fly into the borg and any other coalition soldiers killing them all. As they die, he uses their P.P.E. from their death to keep his Armor of Ithan up, uses other spells.

Note:

The troops already are dead. Sacha Beki the Fire Warlock opened a pool of lava beneath them, at which point I assumed everyone would open fire on the struggling soldiers.

In my post Ajax killed both borgs.

The ONLY visible soldiers left are the 4 SAMAS suits who are running south-east.

OCC: ok, I was think the CS in armor can with stand some of the heat.

After, Ajax has killed some the CS trooper, he strats looting the weapons, ammo and gather CS body armor parts to make a full size Armor suits from remains of the CS troops in the town.

   Zephram gets up as the shooting stops and surveys the area a final time to check for more combatants.  Seeing that things are slowing down, he looks down at his damaged armour and thinks to himself things could have gone better, but they certainly could have gone much worse.  Unaware of the deaths of Saila and Deadbolt, he satisfies himself that his team has had no casualties.  After Sharp's radio transmission, Zephram responds.
   "All clear on eastern flank.  I agree, we need to sweep the town for stragglers and for traps.  Let's meet back outside the church.  Has anyone seen Seidon?"

The looting will be had. And there is plenty to go around. As for armour pieces - that's not gonna happen.

These guys customize their stuff, and they are all generaly destroyed...

Ajax start to ckeck out all the dead CS troop and gather their undamage weapons and gears, But, he makes sure the best weapons and gears are for himself with all of the extra that go with them. As he is going around the town, Ajax also check each building for anything (weapons, gears, magical and non-magical items) useful for him and the others.

Mephisto grabs the Rifle from the juicer that was killed outside. He slings it over his shoulder.

He looks to To'Ra'on and asks him if wants to go home. The Deevil grins and stands up straight. At which point a portal is opened that envelops the creature, then shrinks into nothingness.

The Deevil is gone.

The Shifter heads back for his Silonar in the hole, then rides it towards the church, to watch the others look for Seidon.

   "Thank the platoon.  But we still have a town to secure.  Now that we have a bit more time, is there anything else we should know?  Anything else you need help with?  Our orders are not to remain in the city, will you be staying?"
   Zephram steps out into the street to look around while talking with Kandiah.  He motions for Ajax to hurry up and join them back at the church, as well as everyone else.

   "You should relocate into the forest then.  The mystic energy from that place should provide better coverage from their psi-hound sniffers and forests make excellent hiding places.  Another option might be to relocate the forest's inhabitants."

Ajax carefully carry-up his look around the town for things that valuable to him. He make a note of the stuff he has gather in a two bags. Qne for him with the best items inside and another bag with items for the party. Once he has gather all the things, he will go to the church were the others are gathering.

"I had a dream, a vision a long time ago. A very long time ago. I remember the dream including a huge war - with the Coalition in this area, but now I am remembering the forest people. In my dream I saw one that had run away from the forest. It was on fire. I had to run for what seemed like days to get to him, but I eventually did before I thought I was going to die from exhaustion, and blew out the fire. I know, it sounds odd, but it was a dream. I believe they are in trouble, and I am supposed to help them. It is possible that the dream was also saying they should relocate... or it was saying that they should not relocate..."

Sarah eventually wakes up. SHe leans out of the ATV and spits up a wad of blood.

She falls out of the ATV on the ground and stops moving.

The head of the former Coalition prisoner still dripping...
