Lord Osema, Gendun, Reginald and Sharp move closer to the bridge to ensure the Coalition do not have hidden defenses or traps of their own on the bridge - which could completely destroy any plans Pluto Company has for this prison convoy.

The group is led my Mercenary Sergeant Osema.

(OOC - how close do you intend on getting Osema? Does anyone on your group have binoculars - or any way to see over a distance? otherwise you will be getting rather close...)

Approaching the bridge, (~500' prior, ~300' if downhill to bridge, ~800' if up hill to bridge) Lord Osema stops his bike, with his fist in the air, elbow at a 90^o angle.  As the pack gather around him... Osema first stares at Sharp, right through to the eyes.  This stays for a moment while they are still all mounted on their hovercycles.  The stare is one of a “Man” trying to judge the quality of another.  Sharp can see the a tone of evil in Osema's eyes…  Hatred of life; scheme’s being hatched; the look of a malicious killing machine.

Lord Osema breaks the stare and looks to Gendun then to Reg.  The orders he gives are loud enough for the pack to hear his voice.  He is still calm and serious.  His voice low and paced. "Gendun, Ssshhharp: take po-zzi-sshhonsss, one on either ssside of the bridge.  Keep a look out.  And for fucksssake’sss if sssomething doesss happen… come get me before you go tearing off after a fuckin rabbit or sssomething.  We’re gonna  keep reeeal fuckin quiet.” He looks to Reg, ”Reg and me are gonna disssmount there.” He points to a spot about 50’ from the valley of the bridge where it would be easiest to go under the bridge.  Reg, you crosssss the bridge, and make your way beneath it.  We’re gonna check the bridge for explosssivessss. Then a little louder to stress the point, ”Everyone be ready to fight…” With that, he points to Sharp and Gendun then points to the bridge.

Once Gendun and Sharp are close to their positions, Lord Osema will move out with Reg to inspect the bridge.

Reg nods, "Yes Lord Osema," whether or not he likes working for the Brodkil, Reg does do what he is asked to do. Reginald was moving towards the bridge slowly and cautiosly before trying to get underneath it to search for explosives, then his psychic alarms started going off

Reginalds eyes widen at the sight of the turret, "Osema, find cover quick. There is a turret on the bridge, gonna shoot us soon." Reggie grabs his Juicer assassin rifle off his should and pulls it around front. Reggie will wait to see what Osema does, since Reginald is now visible he is a bit more concerned with finding cover soon. "It is sitting inside of a pill box, looks to be about 20' wide, maybe half that for the window, give or take a little."

There is a large crater up ahead - approximately 20 feet deep at the center, and 30 feet wide. It will supply suitable cover.

The crater is 50 feet ahead. It is an ancient crater - vegetation has long since been growing here. (nothing blew up recently).

Lord Osema pauses after the warning from Reg, to decide how to proceed, will he call for back up?... will he proceed to the crater?... what are the positions of Gendun and Sharp?...  All this is quickly flashing through the mind of Lord Osema as it would any competant commander even of this rag-tag group of merc's...

You guys came from the platoons - west of this map.

You guys came (was it 500 feet from the bridge) - and 20 feet from there is Reginalds' warning.

At Osemas bidding Sharp proceeded forward cautiously but at a decent clip. His hovercycle still invisible is making the bare minimum of sound as he moves along but it still kicks up enough dust when he hits a dry spot to give him away somewhat. Sharp was flanking the bridge opposite Gendun using his the mulit-optics features of his cybernetic eyes to scan the bridge. So he saw the gun emplacement about the same time Reginald did. He turns even further away from the bridge cutting towards the river and increasing speed. He waits a few moments to see if Osema has any specific orders. He reaches down into his saddlebag and grabs up a heavy fusion block, sets it for five seconds and then secures it in the webbing on his hovercycle right by his crotch. He pulls his hovercycle into a holding pattern and awaits orders. Everything in him wants to charge the pillbox coming right down on the roof of it and hurl a fusion block or two in the opening. But he is not going to be the one to fuck up everything for everyone so he waits to proceed.

Gendun hovers silently on his bike. His eyes glare malevolently at the enemy placement on the bridge. Adjusting his heavy Russian Battle Forge Body Armour, he slides his bike forward and wide of the bridge.

Swinging his AR-44 around to lock on the turret location, Gendun flanks Reg and Osema. Stays 50' wide and 20' back of Reg. Just... keep... walking Reginald..... See... if it is... working..... he says, punctuated by a deep demonic laugh and an evil smile.

Reginald almost laughs in Genduns face, "I will do that right after I find out if your mother is working." Reginald will find cover in the crater as best he can and await further orders from Osema

HA! You.... are no match for... my mother..... She would devour your soul.....  AFTER she... defiled... your worm-ridden... body... Ha!

I would... enjoy... watching.... His red eyes gleam eagerly. The Brodkil seems to have a different perspective on the 'mother' joke.

Lord Osema is invisible but hopes that the pack has enough sense not to attack... yet.  His voice quiet and low as if he expects to be heard from so far away...He radios to Zephram:
"  Lord Zephram... There'sss a turret on the bridge.  My pack isss holding po-zzisshhhon, but I think we can take it.  Ssssend the ssscout party this way as reinforsssemtentsss if you wisshh..."

He crouches to the ground after returning to his bike.  He waits for the okay from Zephram....

Reginald arrives at the crater very quickly, still on his bike he moves to suitable cover.

Osema - you are 20 feet behind the crater and Reginald correct?

Sharp - You went towards the river, and forwards - then stopped... how far from original position? (500ft from bridge)

Gendun - I am confused by your directions... 20 feet behind Reginald would put you beside Osema. But 50ft wide would put you... 50 feet south of Osema... ?

The pack started with the platoons - then flew to 500 feet away from the bridge - this point would be off the map (West) but south of the river - then the orders were given to head to the bridge - as everybody heads out - Regindald and Osema were together and got 20 feet before Reginald warned of danger. Sharp picked up on the danger and saw the turret at the same time as Reginald - and they are the only two who can see the turret.

OOC: Probably closer to a thousand feet away. HE is keeping an eye on the bridge and the horizon using the telesopic feature in his multi-optic eyes.

"Yessssir" Osema replies over the radio.  He follows with: "Gendun, Sshharp, meet at my pozzisshhon."  He mounts his bike and moves to a safer location between where he was and where the platoons are.  He becomes visible again and waits for the pack to rendezvous with him.

Sharp turns his idling hovercycle around and makes his way back to Osema. Still invisible he tries to be as quiet as possible. "A no go eh?" Is all the crazy offers upon his arrival. Looking around at his fellow soldiers he cannot help but smile considering the company he is keeping these days.

Reginald frowns a bit and returns to Osema.
