"Yes Lieutenant." The six-armed swordsman watches the ornate black sword sticking out of the ground by the fire pit as it rocks back and forth in the strong winds, and appears to be sinking into the mud.

Instead he unbinds the young woman and carries her back to his hovercycle.

Slowly moving around the site, lifts his head to sniff the air and look around. His attention turn back to the site where the group has seemingly ended things before they began.

The wolfen's yellow eyes settle on that black sword, and he watches, mesmerized for a few moments.

Lucifer Sam leans out the door of the Trailblazer one hand shielding his eyes against the downpour. Taking in the scene he ejects a thick glob of tobacco spittle in the direction of the severed head. Looking at James he scowls. "That was slightly less neighborly then that cocksucker was accustomed to I reckon." With a nod in the direction of the Goblin lieutenant he yells,  "Ya'll heard twat-lips din't ya? Flip this bitch inside out and lets move. Don't touch that fuckin sword neither just let it sink on down to hell. We ain't got time fer no goddamned demon possessed bullshit right now ya hear?"

Troy had already started walking over to the sword as Arven mentions not to touch it. He bends over to get a closer look, and looks sideways at Arven, while he slowly reaches his hand toward the sword. Like a child told not to eat a chocolate he just discovered before his supper.

Lucifer Sam chuckles, a very Arven like sound and reaches back into the Trailblazer to get one of the CTT-M20 Coalition missile rifles. While the Rahu-Man could cradle one each of the bulky guns in his lower arms Lucifer Sam looks almost comical hefting the oversized rifle up to aim down the sighting scope like a child playing with his fathers gun. The laser targeting acquires Troy with a soft audible beep and Sam uses a finger to click the selector switch up to a volley of four of the armor piercing missiles. He waits to see what happens with the sword with his finger resting on the trigger.

Solstice narrows his eyes as he watches Troy intently from a distance. He shakes his head subtly and mutters to himself.

Thanatos wants the sword, it can be useful. "Troy WAIT!" he shouts, he holds a hand up, palm facing Lucifer Sam, to keep him from firing. "Let's wrap it up, first, then take it. You and I can experiment with it. We can't leave such an artifact lying around, but neither can we foolishly venture forth with it. It will take time, but I believe with your strength and my mental abilities, we can over come it. Get me something to cover it with." Once this is done, Thanatos will begin searching the rest of the site, "If anyone wants this beings blood, you should collect it now. It can be used for wards and the like, no?"

Garina was too shocked to immediately do anything upon seeing the demonic ritual site. As others made their way into the demonic circle she held her fire so as to not hit a ‘friendly’.

While the others began to dismantle the site Garina began to sweep the area for CS radio transmissions.

James grunts at all the sissy drama surrounding the sword.  He was happy to let it sink into the earth, however, he was really the only one who should be touching stuff like that.

Setting the hovercycle down he takes a moment to spit on the decapitated demon mage and walks toward the sword.

"Okay scumbags we got a job to do.  I'll take that thing before it causes your fucking brains to leak out of your head.  Let's get the fuck outta here."

James nonchalantly picks up the sword.  Turns it over once or twice in his hands and, barring any unexpected results, tosses in his saddle bags on the bike.

The mercenary group that came in with Lucifer Sam is to proceed no further until speaking with us. My unit is less than two minutes away, please ensure they remain where they are. I have been advised the rest of you are clear to progress to the crash site. Over." >>

"We don't have time for this crap! Sam, you and your team stay here and wait for the damn Knights. The rest of you with me!"

Pukt wastes no time in leading the rest of the squad toward the crash site, leaving Arvens' crew and Solstice behind to answer some questions...

Thanatos doesn't let the wave of worry that hits him show, this wasn't likely good. " Lt. I didn't sign on to chat, I signed on to fight." his protest does no good as the LT is already leaving, "Well, fuck."

Troy was disappointed James took the sword, but the possibility of a battle with Cyber Knights raised his spirits. "I've never killed a Cyber Knight before..."

He can feel the juice begin to flow through his veins as he mentally prepares for combat. It has been too long... He pulls out his pistols and looks to Arven for an idea of how he planned to handle this...

While her understanding of english was still limited thier current orders to stay did not sound good.

Lucifer Sam lowers the missile rifle as the threat of the sword dissolves away to nothing. He listens to the goblin shaking his head in the affirmative like some happy go lucky moron right up until he leaves . Spitting in disgust he raises an index finger in the air making a terse circling gesture with it, the universal sign for let's fucking roll. Unbuckling the human size gun belt and shedding clothing his body begins transforming. Two additional arms sprout from his rib cage with painful bone crackling sounds as Lucifer Sam fades away to reveal Arven the Annihilator. "Fuck these bitches lets get to work." he grunts and steps into the ATV to strap on his real guns and armor.

Solstice sits on a hill just up and away from the ritual circle. Arven's transformation clearly captures his attention for a few moments. Then his eyes flick to the sky and he scans what he can of the horizon one more time, as if he were waiting for something.

As if the mega-juicer now filling his veins wasn't enough, he inhales several times through his nose, from a plastic baggie filled with a green powder.

Troy looks over to Thanatos and nods, with a wide-eyed stare, and a powder-covered face. "Hey Tim. If I don't make it, I want you to have my stuff." He then fixes his helmet and waits on his hovercycle, and re-draws his pistols.

Any of you that stick with me get a two million credit bonus!  " Arven laughs as he goes back into the Trailblazer. "Glitter-Boy... What a bitch., If Thanatos or someone else doesn't immediately start driving Arven does it himself and heads in the direction they were previously traveling.

Glancing over at the crash site, Troy calls Arven over the radio "Uhh... Arven... It looks like it is raining skelebots over there..."


*There are indeed several hundred skelebots who have jumped from a second transport about 8000 feet off the ground. Some of them started using missiles and may have destroyed the glitter boys in Pluto Company. The bots are now just 2500-3000 feet off the ground.

Thanatos nods to Troy, "If you do not, I'll see it used well friend. Now the, about this... glitter boy... is he... well, does he prefer gentlemen? That title, glitter boy, seems dubious at best." He smiles, a cold smile of realization, his life may well end shortly, but these that threatened his crew, they'd pay with their own blood as well. "James, can you use that sword properly? It's enchantments, or do you void that effect as well."

Solstice waits for the crew to leave, then glides on his hoversled down the hill and into the circle. He stays behind for a short time and seems to be examining the site more closely.

"Oh yeah he is a cock-lovin cum-guzzler fer sure but those are like to be the only good qualities he has. Fuck him though I say we put ourselves in between him and whatever buncha whoresons he's with and this skelebot army then we can proceed from there. If a prime target presents itself we can strike and if not we can bug the fuck out. I want revenge but I ain't in no hurry to die neither. I'm making too much money and having too much fun to get killed." Arven will skirt the battle in whichever direction looks most promising trying to stay out of mini-missile range as much as possible.

The thought of tackling a Glitter Boy should have made James think but not anymore. Besides, in the chaos that was brewing between the CS, Tolkeen and mercs would provide plenty of opportunities for killing mages.

"I can use the sword just fine.  Especially if it helps me make people die.  Some swords only let evil mother fuckers use it. If so, I'll give it to jack off over there. Let's get moving." he directs a nod toward Avern to demonstrate who he is speaking about.
