Re: C7 : Officers

Once the Army from Salvation has settled in Zor has each of his platoon commanders, as well as the respective leaders of the Madtown militia, Demon horde and Salvation Army assemble for a meeting.

OOC: I don’t really have much to say, other then one thing. This is just for any last plans or ideas to be thrown out, as well as any last minute wants/needs.

"I was wondering sir where you wanted our men at your head quarters."

Mukhali carries himself like a soldier, unlike Flat Bullet or Bartaine. None of the southern towns wanted to get involved in any war, and didn't want Tolkeen soldiers around them that might provoke the Coalition. But if Salvations' men had enlisted in the Kingdoms' army, they would make fine soldiers.

Re: C7 : Officers

Dyvalis returned from the Ley Line some time ago with a either a twin or a doppleganger. The twin looks exhausted and Dyvalis leads him to the Lakeside Hotel, laying him down to rest. Toward his twin, Dyvalis almost seems compassionate, but then it's a lot easier to be nice to someone when you know exactly how they think.

At the meeting Dyvalis is alone.
"Have the majority of your men on standby in front of Town Hall. If reinforcements are needed anywhere we will dispatch you. If you have any snipers or long range weapons men -- missiles, and the like -- have them take up position on the roof of the Jail. From there they should be able to see pretty far."

'Masque wanders in rather later than most everyone else in company with Lt Drake from 3rd platoon, with a small laptop computer tucked wafer-like under one arm and a certain amount of fresh-turned soil and sawdust drifting from his oversized BDU's, the large 'Borg filtering into the rear of the assembly and waiting to see what the arrangements are for reporting in and receiving orders.

He's rather new to this after all.

Lieutenant Lynn walks in with Mithas of 6th platoon and once inside abruptly ends their conversation moving up towards the front of the congregation. She looks as comely as always despite appearing a little perturbed. She waits patiently for her turn to speak.

Re: C7 : Officers

"I have been granted 4 Metroplolis scrolls from Tolkeen. They will be able to cover the entire town, but it takes alot out of whomever casts it. So I need another three volunteers besides myself. Captain Shira, Lieutenant Lynn and Lieutenant Drake thank you for volunteering. When this meeting os over, return to your posts and read the scroll. There is not much else I needed to say... I could stand here and give a motivational speech about us fighting the good fight. But that is not my style anymore. We are defending this town, and we will stand our ground. If any of your men retreat on the field of battle, I want you to kill them instantly. The Coalition is coming and they wont hold back. I imagine there wont be much left of this town after the battle, civilians will die and Pluto Company will be butchered."

He pauses for a moment to take a drink a glass of water.

"Nobody fallsback until I say they can fallback. Nobody dies until they have killed ten of the enemy."

Zor looks at the officers sitting with him...

"Is there anything else you need before we get back to work. We still have alot of work to do before the CS get here."

Jelme receives a polite nod as 'Masque settles himself in a low crouch at the back of the lineup, whilst Mithas on the other hand is the recipient of a big grin and an actual salute (which might be slightly ironic, but is entirely deserved after the godawful pounding the Minotaur took during Pluto's last field action).

But when the 'end' of the briefing comes around, the big Tiger gives the impression of blinking for a few moments and looking around the crowd, before leaning over to Jelme and asking, "Was I perhaps missing the part where he was actually find out what we have done and telling people what plan is, or are we meant to make it up as we go along?" in a low voice.

Re: C7 : Officers

Shira receives his scroll and looks it over in amazement as he stares at a real metropolos scroll. Fires of power burn in his eyes.

"Sir, to be clear as I am not experienced in fighting against the Coalition as you are. If we were attacked now, the platoons, Madtown Militia, demons and Salvation Army hold their positions while the CS throws whatever they have at us. Which will probably start with missiles and artillery, during which we all hide. After that they will probably use airstrikes, during which we hide. If anyone is still alive when they send in ground troops to take the town we fight, assuming if they wanted the town destroyed we would all be dead already. Everybody holds their ground, until ordered to fallback by HQ. And we continue fighting and dying and falling back as the Coalition pushes on. And in the end if the Coalition pulls off their attack, and we still have anybody left, then we have won. For a few days until they send reinforcements..."

"But so far there has not been one. Little wizard has not even asked what we have been doing with our precious time in front lines." 'Masque replies to Jelme, still pitching his voice low enough for the conversation to go back and forth between just the two of them (and anyone with cybernetic or augmented hearing, of course).

Until Sorkhan explains his version of things and a horrifyingly, Zor agrees.

 That's not good.

"Do you think he was getting promotion by collecting twelve bottle tops?" asks 'Masque of Jelme, a slightly strained note entering his voice in the process.

Portia snickers slightly, not unlike a schoolgirl, and tries to stifle it with her hand. Unsuccessful she laughs aloud,  a deep belly laugh that has a disturbing otherworldy quality to it like more than one person laughing at the same time. Grasping the scroll in her fist she gives Karno a respectful nod rather than a salute. "Thank you Major I will see to it." She is already turning and walking towards the door when Ra sends his transmission. She is quick to reply using Second Platoons frequency spouting orders into the small radio before she is even out of the building.

"Understood Ra. Fall back to our lines. I repeat... fall back to our lines. Sekhmet and Thoth fall back as well. Attention Second Platoon everyone to your places. "

The officers each head back to their platoons after Zor waits for any last minute questions that were not asked during the meeting for some reason.
