Feral looks at the giant talking cow-man, and points hoping up and down like a child, "Look brother, cow-man talks. Doesn't say moooo. Uses words... funny."

Re: Chapter Nine : Hell House

Grimathor lets the ignorant "cow-man" comment go, it wasn't the first and it certainly won't be the last. Indeed, I use words and full sentences as well. My name is Grimathor, but most call me Grim.

"HAHAHAHA funny cow-man has name. Grim... Grimathor," it is obvious Feral struggles with the extra syllables, "Grim, I Feral. This is brother. Call him Doc."

Smiling, Grim nods his way through the introductions.Well met, Feral and, Grim turns to regard the other man, Doc. Although I do not, some of my kind might take offense to being called a cow-man as you put it. We are called minotaur.

Feral nods, a blank expression on his face. "What is offense? Minotaur?" he sounds the word out slowly, "Funny word. Why called minotaur," again said rather slowly as Feral wants to get it right, "and not cow-man?"

Some of my kind might get angry if you call them cow-men. Why not cow-men? Well because we are not cow-men, we do not even come from this world we come from far away. Grimathor replies, with a slightly bemused look on his face.

Feral nods, "Feral understand. Feral from far away too. Feral think so at least. Feral sorry for mistake. Grim see cow before? Grim see man? Feral think you smash together and it be cow-man. Feral sorry." his tone is genuine and any looking can tell he is sincerely sorry for the confusion.

Smiling, Grimathor says I have taken no offense, sir. I just thought I should warn that not all of my race is so understanding. I have seen cows and I have seen men and I can see where you came to that conclusion.

MacCloud listen to his commanders intently after his last foe par he did not wish to lose the extra strip he just gains. Nod with some grim satisfaction at the idea of torture the vile Coalition solders hearing the words of the Minotaur he turns
"So good Sir Grimathor Thunderhoof how would you think the vile Basted would treat you or any of the other in-human brothers in arms we have?
There the true monsters in our world and we need to stop them by any mean necessary.

Re: Chapter Nine : Hell House

He would mostly likely torture and than kill me for sport, I have no doubt of that. But if you act like a monster than you are not better than the monster. Besides torture is unreliable at best when compared to psychic interrogation methods. A strong willed man can lie even through torture. Grimathor replies, turning to regard MacLoud.

Shying away from all the talk of torture, she may have joined up, but certainly she's no soldier to think such things she drifts over towards Portia.  "Thank you for taking good care of me back in Madtown Sir," with a glance to make sure her new LT is not close enough to hear she adds, "I'm sorry that I wont be continuing in your command, I know you would have keept us alive."  Without much more to add or to be said she throws her the best salute she can.

"Very well Major, I will take this "Madtown' into my squad." As the psychic hovers his wheelchair over to the rest of 3rd Platoon, Captain Shira turns to face them all."Since most of us lost our vehicles in Madtown, Tolkeen is lending us a bunch more. Squad COmmanders, take your men out and stop by the armour yard on your way to teh west side of town. I will see you all there in one hour.

Lieutenant Lynn nods and returns the salute. "Dead soldiers do no one any good. My guess is that you are to be a Glitterboy chauffeur. Oh well there are worse jobs in Creeds little army that is for damn sure. Good luck private.

Portia turns her attention back to glaring out at the crowd with what looks like a mix of disinterest and contempt.

Shira takes Magnet Man, Kamada, Madtown and a handful of others with him as he leaves the barracks. Everyone may now post in the squad threads, where the vehicles will be distributed, and then we will set out for Hell House. You have all been in Tolkeen for 2 days since Madtown fell. You have had plenty of time for repairs and restock. You can post this here in this thread, in your squad thread or in a PM.

The addition of 'cyborgs' to the list of strange beings spotted in the area of this mysterious facility brings a low cybernetic chuckle to the lips of the oversized Russian shocktrooper, but even so... "Can we be getting after action reports from those who have encountered them sir?" seems a reasonable request - no-one in the room probably appreciates better than 'Masque himself just how much ground the word 'borg' can cover.

Photios listens on to the new assignments and catches the important details, at the same time examining the damage that had been inflicted to the many members of the platoon over the duration of their battle with the Coalition.

He had contributed to the overall grand scheme of things, but when the action got heavy he had made sure to stay near the rear and save his strength for if things got out of hand. It became almost a war of attrition as the CS forced them back and picked away at their forces and it was apparent they were in a losing battle. Participating in the evacuation, he was quick to shatter the teleportation circle and craft a new one for use in their next mission.

Re: Chapter Nine : Hell House

The first three weeks has come to an end, and as Pluto Company nears the end of its' first month, some of the original members still alive are finally starting to settle into the company. Sorkhan Shira, Silvermasque, Lotus, Mephisto, and Van are all that is left on Third Platoon, and a few others such as Mithas, Sarah McKnight and Jelme on the other platoons. Others, Xion, Saila, Fearless, Null, Angelo "Deadbolt", and Mac have all been killed, along with Arven and Tecumseh who have both left the war behind them.

Their first mission had them set out for Izmit village, to assist a quartet of warlocks in reaching Tolkeen safely. Upon finding them, they were ready for battle, and Pluto joined forces in a deadly battle. Their second mission took them to a recent crash site of a Deaths' Head Transport to capture a suspected Emperor Prosek at the site. The group captured the Emperor, however he was an impostor and attempted to assassinate King Creed.

Their third was a rescue/assault on two prisoner transports, followed by the defense of Madtown.

Their fifth should be a routins smash and grab from a CS military outpost. However their is absolutely no intelligence done on the location, and Pluto Company is walking in blind. As a result, they are sending just Third Platoon into the are ahead of the rest to obtain information on the exact wherabouts of the outpost, and to move in themselves while the rest of the company is to supply back up if needed.

Captain Shira is waiting with the psychic Madtown just west of Tolkeens' gates standing on top of a large hovercraft designed like a sail ship with area below deck for crew quarters. Magnet Man and Mithas stand on a second craft watching as the other squads arrive.

Squad One arrives with Lieutenant Portia Lynn leading on a hovercycle, followed by two Triax Wilderness Crusaders, obviously containing the rest of the squad (Van, Oksana, Braga, Thasha, Thunderhoof / Calliandra, Burd, Severin, Karnon)

Squad Two arrives inside Amy's dropship The Pelican and lands just next to Shira's hover barge. (Dyvalis, Drano, Tyirrak, Eljin, McCloud, Comartin, Vashti, Flat Bullet and Daemonis)

Squad Three joins the others with an Iron Maiden APC from Iron Heart, Canada with wrathchild written on the side. (Snodgrass, Doc and Feral), and a massive Triax Leopard APC driven in by Silvermasque (and Lotus, Photios, and Hagriss). Followed by Cannon Fodder and Mephisto on a hover-platform, and Na-Wa riding a Silonar behind the Triax APC.

The vehicles come to a stop and Shira's voice can be heard over the radio.

Re: Chapter Nine : Hell House

"Third Platoon, we are heading West to South Dakota. The area is nearly void of civilization, save for a small town in the north called Aberdeen, and a fort belonging to "The First Apocalyptic Cavalry", named Fort Jericho in the south. We are not sure how close these mercenaries are to the fort, and it is in our best interests to avoid any unfavourable confrontations with the bastards. Our friend Madtown will take us in the right direction, but as we get closer Squad One will be charged with acquiring the precise location by asking a few questions.

Squad Two will move on ahead to approach the Apocalyptic Cavalry to announce our presence.

Squad Three will follow Two a few miles behind for support, and Fourth will back up 1st.

Keep your wits about you men, and listen to your commanders. The Major said we arent putting up with any of the shit that went on at Madtown. First and Second move out!"

"The device (or devices) we are looking for is what made Madtown what he is. It somehow mutates the brain to rapidly develop one's complete psychic potential, bestowing upon them immense power, but deforming the brain permanently, and  instilling insanities. King Creed wants one of these devices for study, and he wants the rest destroyed."
