Liu jumps slightly at masque's offering, and gives him an untrusting-look,  assuming he probably stole the kit from one of her dead comrades.

She accepts it after the moment and begins to use it to help the unconscious private.

"Thanks..." she manages to say.

"Wow... it seems like you know why you are doing what you are doing... but I have no friggin idea what a fascist is..."

He accepts the cigar with a nod of thanks and continues...

"POW camp? Fuck that shit... I have seen what Tolkeen does to some of our guys... I saw one of my buddies from basic get captured, and 6 months later he came back all mind controlled and shit. Tried to kill us... we had to put him down like a bug. They fucked him up... got in his head or somethin' they can do anything with that magic shit."

puff... puff...

"Don't suppose you could lend us a radio, let us call for our boys to pick us up and we all just go on our way? It's worth a shot askin..."

"And what the fuck is a Cyber Knight?" ......... He looks around to see if any landmarks are recognizable... "Where are we anyway?"

 Since 'Masque did in fact take the kit from a dead C.S. soldier, there's no real censure in his nod or soft-voiced reply of "Is carried for others who are hurt. I am more needing welding kit and rivet gun, youbet." before he looks back to Hassan, turning his palm over to reveal the sliding panel that opens over a weapons port, a snub-nosed particle projector set into his forearm. A soft electrical buzz rolls out and sparks arc between the poles of the charge stripper at the end, which 'Masque uses to light his own cigar before extending the hand to the others present.

 "Yeah, and I am having seen places where C.S. forces rolled over civilians and prisoners. Way I am seeing it is there are assholes working for Tolkeen, assholes working for C.S. Would probably be better world if we put all in big field, let work things out but then I would be out of job." 'Masque replies philosophically, before shrugging slightly, "Not too sure - am thinking cyber-knights are American version of Bogatyr, but everyone here seems to know about them already so is kind of hard to bring up question without seeming stranger than already am, da?"

 "As for dropping you off." he taps the side of his head gently "Am only having one radio and that is..." and then breaks off with an expression that can only be described as thoughtful as he unslings one of the small panniers right around the back of his kit and digs through it, before coming up with a small handset radio plainly intended for use by a human, though it is capable of taking a cyberjack link "...was almost forgetting I had this. Might be persuaded to hand it over - let's see what kit says about boy first.", he nods his great head towards the bandaged, unconscious young man.

Hassan chuckles at Masque's response about what a Cyber Knight is... the corporal doesn't really care what it is. The lack of education of the outside world is apparent when one on one with a young career soldier.

"How's he lookin' Liu?"

She has relaxed a little, but her guard is not down when she replies "His guts and organs are all fucked up, maybe missing chunks... I dunno if the kit can handle this kind of damage. This is only my second time using one in the field..."

 "It can't... would need IRMSS for that sort of thing. Best kit can do is give us maybe how long he is having." 'Masque rumbles thoughtfully, before glancing towards Heinrich "I am not knowing about magic - have seen it heal pretty big wounds, da, but internal damage?" he chuckles grimly, even ruefully before shrugging "Well, is not magic, if you know what I am saying."

 "Alright. Here is deal - I am having three choices. I can be giving you radio and bugging out, but you might not get pickup in time to save boy. I can be taking you in to Tolkeen and making damn sure he is getting treated. Or I can split difference, take boy and leave you - but for that you are needing to trust I will do as I say." the big Tiger rumbles, before laying out his personal feelings on the matter, "I am not in habit of killing unarmed people, and none of you three are likely to be back on front line any time soon, so is not like I am needing to drag you all in. If anyone asks..." - he beams brightly, silvery fangs glinting in the forest-filtered light - "...I can say you overpowered me."

Heinrich laughs, "No my feline friend, it's not magic. It's psychic abilities. I don't do magic. Just so you know. I can try and help the boy, not real sure how effective it will be. Where I come from we didn't have these... guns, and grenades... just swords, arrows, you know those civilized weapons." Heinrich looks to the CS soldiers, "You two mind if I give it a shot?" Assuming their are no objections, Heinrich will give the boy a once over and use everything he can to help him.


Looking to Hassan, "Are you feeling ok, you mentioned someone fucking with your head... what'd they do exactly. Maybe I can undo it. For a price of course."

At the offer for Heinrich to help the unconscious private, Hassan motions with his hand as if to say "go for it".

The corporal is legitimately surprised when Silvermasque mentions his options. "Wow, you ain't such a bad dude. Let's see what the psychic can do for him... We aren't too far from Fort Nickel, a pick up shouldn't be too hard to acquire."

 "Actually I am plenty bad dude, but if I take you back to squad right now, odds are good I will have to kill officer to stop her being pig-ignorant bitch. Would rather wait for her to be brought up on charges and receive firing squad." 'Masque explains with a tone somewhere between amiable and anticipatory, before offering Heinrich a brief grin and a nod of the head, "Is worth trying if nothing else - I am thinking has been enough killing for today. Would be nice to have clear win for change, even if only over filthy corpse-suckers."

At the mention of Heinrich attempting to help Hassan with his self-diagnosed magic-fried brain he responds "Hells no, I ain't letting another one of you Tolks inside my head again. I figure this will just go away eventually... It is just pain mostly... and I can't think of things sometimes... y'know?"

Heinrich shrugs, "As you wish. Perhaps it will just go away one day. It depends on the person who did it to you mostly. Have it your way chief." Heinrich continues to try and work on the young man who's so badly hurt.

"Well my brotha, I gotta say thanks. Nobody wants to see the inside of a POW camp. I've heard stories of the CS cutting your pay if you get captured - and my wife and kids need the money. I appreciate you letting us off the hook... and I'm sure these two grunts feel the same way."

 "Shit happens man, you know? - Is no reason to hand out a bit more of it just because you are having bad day." 'Masque replies, taking another draw upon his cigar and making another full-spectrum sensor sweep of the vicinity, before indicating Hassan with the smoking stub, "Would still be suggesting you let Heinrich look at aura though, or have one of own psi-dogs do it. Never know what sort of nasty crap mageboys can be doing if they are pissed, and some are plenty pissed right now - some were having friends, families, allsorts in line of Coalition advance, others were just plain mean to be starting with."

Hassan cracks a smirk "You think they're pissed? Wait'll they get a load of me..." He grins, a sinister grin.

 "Man... please to be remembering I am being enemy, da? Just because I am being nice guy when is being opportunity does not mean I would not be popping off head if I thought you were being dangerous. I would feel very bad about this, but am soldier first, nichevo." - the last word is spoken with a great, four-shouldered slavic shrug that seems to emphasise that the two-tonne cybernetic tiger is ultimately helpless before the great universal forces such as stupidity, coincidence, and bloody-mindedness. After he speaks, the big tiger tilts his head for a moment as if listening to a distant conversation, then resumes paying attention to the group.

Corporal Hassan nods to Silvermasque in agreement.

"Don't know how much I helped him," indicating the kid, "but I did what I could, he should be ok to travel for a while."

 "Is good work." 'Masque rumbles softly to the other Tolkeen soldier, then turns his head to look at the three C.S. personnel, "Alright. Here is thing. There is still vampire horde out there, plus my people... And is C.S. patrol coming in on both. I am going to go help extract my team, if you can be persuading them vampires are bigger problem than bunch of Tolkeen soldiers pulling out, be my guest. Otherwise they are going to get reamed pretty bad."

 Balancing the radio lightly in his palm, he thinks for a few moments and then sets it down beside the unconscious soldier and extends his hand to Hassan, then Liu, one digit extended to be shaken, "Hope I am not seeing you two on battlefield one day."

Hassan knows not to waste a good opportunity in case the cyborg changes his mind. He snatches up the radio quickly, but waits before calling in the pick up.

Hassan raises the cigar as a motion of thanks, then says "Good luck out there chief" before bringing the radio up to call in a pick up from near by Coalition forces.

Both Coalition soldiers return Silvermasque's handshake.

 Glancing back over his shoulder at the miles-distant farm, 'Masque pauses for a few moments to employ his vibro-claws, turning a couple of saplings into an improvised travois and a couple of wooden spears which he sets out for the Coalition wounded just in case with a rumbled, "Go with God Corporal, Private.", before nodding to Heinrich and extending a hand to him, "Is best if you get on my back, put head down and hold on real tight... I am not going to be keeping speed down on way back, and is going to be one hell of ride, youbet. If is anything you can do to shield self, would be good idea."
