Amy slows the dropship, carefully turning back to their point of origin, frowning at warrik, at hopper at everyone really, as she opens a transmission, "Understood, dropship complying." Being all she can manage to get out with a slight rasping hiss to her voice as she does.

Warrick is almost happy at the recent turn of events. "Everyone just stay calm and co-operate. These traitors obviously want us alive for some reason, otherwise we would be digging ourselves out of a flaming wreck by now! I could escape at any time, so I doubt they are trying to abduct me or anyone else. Our equipment isn't valuable enough... my only hypothesis is they want to recruit us..."

Mephisto hesitates a few moments before responding "I can;t believe I am choosing to spend my time with the wicked witch of the west... but this munchkin is REALLY annoying..."

Mephisto creates a mystic portal in the bottom of the dropship. It is apparent the juggernauts have taken the dropship higher in altitude - several hundred feet now...

Mephisto walks over to Amy, and hands her a small and peaceful little frog. "Keep him safe, very safe. If you think he could be in trouble hide him somewhere... he is more than what he seems and I can see as he sees. We will come for you, you will not be left behind."

With that he hops through the portal and disappears, leaving the four remaining members to their fate with the Tolkeen traitors.

Re: C11 : The Dropship

One Juggernaut flies out ahead, while the other rides atop the dropship. They head East for the most part, nearly a half-hour before heading south for another 20 minutes - probably to avoid something in particular (like a fort or outpost).

The Juggernauts bring the dropship above a small lake, before the leading Juggernaut descends into the water. The one still atop the dropship demands "Submerge your vehicle in the water - we need to keep it concealed from prying eyes. Then exit the vehicle and proceed to the surface. You will be met by Theodore on the shore."

Assuming Amy complies, the second juggernaut descends under water with the dropship. There is what looks like a massive 100 ft, god-like statue under the water as well - sitting at the bottom of the lake. It looks strangely alive, rather than a completely lifeless statue.

Na-Wa didn't want Silonar shot, so he liked the big boss man's idea. Moving back to the cargo bay Na-Wa climbed up on the Tyrannous-Rex back and caressed it's head and talked to it. "Silonar, Na-Wa no want you to get shot, so you stay here and eat anything that comes into fly ship that is not a good guy. OK? Oh and stop pooping! Cat Lady don't like it and Na-Wa knows he has to clean it up."

With that Na-Wa came back to the front of the drop ship and told the big boss man he was ready. "Silonar is going to guard the inside of the fly ship."

Amy takes the frog gently in her hand before slipping it inside her power-armor careful to make sure the pocket she picks will not be crushed if she moves.  Leaving a note against the windshield saying what has occurred and requesting that they don't breach her bird.

Then she joins the others to let Warrick teleport them out.

Re: C11 : The Dropship

Na-Wa and Amy find themselves on the shore of the lake, about a kilometer from where the dropship emerged, and just a few hundred feet from the life-like statue underwater.

There are no visible structures of any kind - and no sign that this area could be home to a few dozen ex-Tolkeen soldiers.

A small detachment seems to be wating for the dropship crew, as they briskly walk over when they teleport out.

A group of 7 Brodkil demons led by a human battle-mage approach the 4-man crew. The human stares at the bunch for a few seconds, then removes his helmet.

"This is it? 2 privates, a merc and some midget civilian! Kitt's not gonna like this... you sure there is nobody else on board that ship of yours?"

He turns his back in a half-attempt to hide the radio transmission from the captives.

"Rend to command. We have 4 'guests' from the ship. 2 Tolkeen regulars... rank Private, a mercenary and some civilian."

A powerful voice responds...

"... ... I see... ... Well... I'm coming up."

The battle mage turns back, just in time as a few of the brodkil were inching closer, literally drooling on the ground.

"The Captain is coming up - if any of you try anything, don't think we won't burn you down. You wouldn't be the first Tolks I sent to an early grave. There are alot of us, so I wouldn't recommend trying anything... at all, other than answer the Captain's questions."

Re: C11 : The Dropship

A few moments later, part of the ground, just 10 feet away appears to dig away at itself, until a large hole is created, seemingly to a bottomless pit. There is a moment of worry that the crew will be pushed into the hole - but it is relieved, almost, when a menacing looking Shifter with the rank of Captain on his soiled and battle-worn Tolkeen military armour.

He is wearing Bushman body armour, and a vest-like cape. He is also wearing a dozen gold medalions around verious chains on his neck. This Captain has bracelets, rings and even two gold teeth, and a blade-scar under his right eye.

He is followed by a woman, dressed much the same, a 12 foot tall cat-like demon dressed in bulky black robes, and a younger human male wearing old-style CS armour - sans the helmet.

The four new arrivals approach Amy, Na-Wa and the others glaring down any who meet their stares.

The Captain is the first to speak, with a sudden smile.

"Welcome friends! I hope the juggernauts were not too rough with your intake. I am Captain Theodore Kitt, and as you must know I have abandoned Tolkeen. I know in my heart that Tolkeen is not meant to survive in this world. I also know that the true saviours of humanity are the Coalition States and the Prosek family."

He pauses to guage the 'guests' reactions.

"I have been in communication with Coalition officers in the area, and they are ready to receive us. In exchange for our intel, they will grant us quiet homes within their vast empire. Our lives will not be needlessly sacrificed for the dying Kingdom of Tolkeen."

He says this last part with complete disgust.

"This is your only chance to take the high road and retire from all this killing and bloodshed. Join me, and my men. Leave Tolkeen behind and follow me to your salvation. What say you? Come on now, speak up, each of you. Don't be shy..."

Na-Wa doesn't mention to any one that Silonar is still in the dropship, he hoped one of these bad men would go in there and get eaten.

When asked to join the badguys Na-wa gives his reply. "Everyone tells Na-Wa he is stupid. But Na-Wa also know that joining skull faced soldiers is more stupid then Na-Wa is."

Amy shifts from foot to foot, nervously finally giving in to the urge to stretch, back arching as she seems to almost gain two feet of height in the manor of cats as she loosens her spine from the hours of flying and cramped conditions of the armor.  settling back down she pulls a comb from a pocket and begins to slowly tease out any spots where her fur has become matted over the past few days of operations trying to hold her silence.

It was dark. And wet. Those things were... Unpleasant. It looked around. Even though the sun didn't make itself known down here, it could still see well. There wasn't much room, either. It's arms ached... It's head ached... Where was it? With a creek of iron, it turned. There was something next to it. Made of blue iron. Not large. And to the other side... Mud. It's joints groan as it falls back.

On the surface, waves rise up, beating with more insistence against the shore.

Kitt and Trake take Amy and Na-Wa down into the hole. There are stairs leading down, far down into a tunnel. The stairs are formed out of dirt and rocks, all of the walls are what appears to be very loose dirt and roots, as clumps fall down from the "ceiling".

It eventually opens into a large gymnasium-sized room with several other narrow tunnels leading off to seperate rooms, like troop quarters and storage rooms. Amy and Na-Wa are brought to seperate empty rooms of dirt, next to each other in one of the corridors. They each alone in their dirt-cells, with poorly crafted wooden doors. They are told to wait and not to leave their cells.

Amy and Na-Wa can still hear each other through the walls, though they do have to speak up.

It was still dark. And still cold. It shifted its feet, pulling up a heavy layer of muck from the bottom with it. And nothing was happening. Things were dull here. But there was light coming from above. Slowly, it steps forward. Kicking up muck and sucm, darkening the lake. One foot, and then the other. Massive, lumbering steps. Soon, it broke the surface of the water. Almost instantly, it was warmer. And less wet.

A slip as lake bed gives under it's weight. A wave crashes against the shores, certainly alerting others of it's presence. But it doesn't seem to care, slowly pushing out.

Re: C11 : The Dropship

Trake knew something was about to happen, but he figured his 6th sense was telling him Amy would try to use the knife... he didn't prepare for Na-Wa to be a skilled wrestler.

In a blink, he is pinned in Na-Wa's hold. He struggles for air, and bangs on Na-Wa's thigh in a futile attempt to tap out. With telekinesis still active he pushes back on the psi-stalker's legs resisting the snapping of his spine.

All of this allows Amy the chance to remove the knife from her foot and plant it squarely in the top of Trake's skull. The knife sinks into his head all the way to the handle.

Trake coughs, and his eyes start to bleed while the vibro blade hums softly inside his skull. His left leg starts to twitch rapidly and he gurgles away the last few moments of his life.

Trake's gear:

1 NG back up pistol
12 000 credits
3 eclips
4 plasma grenades
3 granola bars
survival knife
radio
his body armour is bushman (no helmet) - and will fit Na-Wa. It is at 90% MDC, and has been painted black and camo green.

Once they are, Dyvalis begins to chant the incantation with a devil's grin on his face. As soon as the words are finished, the Sergeant's body seems to flicker out of this dimension, as though it were simply a mirage or a reflection cast in water.

The infiltration is left behind for a moment before Dyvalis returns, appearing behind Lotus and Keth with Amy and Na-Wa. "Ready? I am placing you in a hallway. Down the hall is a tunnel that comes up by the lake. Kitt and Dragana are located there with 6 Deevils. The rest of the troops are either in the pillboxes or surrounding woods. Take out Kitt and Dragana. A mage does not make a good prisoner Silvermasque. Trust me..."

Then he places his hands on Lotus and Keth respectively. They appear in an underground tunnel that stretches on ahead of them. It is only a moment before he returns for Silvermasque, placing his hands on him and doing the same. He quickly points out the direction Kitt is in, followed by "...and that's north" for the aid of anyone without a compass in their head. Then he is gone.

OOC: This is all before Dyvalis showed up...and per what the GM has stated in OOC statements, I believe Na-Wa and Amy should a have a chance to take what they want off Trake.

Na-Wa refuses to release his grip on the mean bald psionic man and once he goes limp snaps his neck thinking he had run out of breath and not had a vibro blade stuck in his head.

Na-Wa begins to strips mean bald psionic man of his armor, and put it on. Na-Wa knew he wasn't smart but having armor made him stay alive.

Knowing that the Pretty Cat Girl needed a weapon too he tossed the energy pistol and the e-clips to her. "Yes Na-Wa know we must go."

OOC: Now that people are here...
Na-Wa continues to put on the armor of the mean bald psionic man as others appear around him. Oddley Na-Wa doesn’t seem surprised. It is as if he knew friends were coming. “Wohn-Ecke said you would come!” As Keth tries to take the vibro blade out of the mean bald psionic man’s he hisses at him. “That not you knife! Re: C11 : The Dropship

Amy looks grateful to Na-Wa as he gives her the pistol and she pockets the extra ammunition before trying her foot and limping a bit.  Just as Na-Wa finishes putting on the armor and she is feeling ready to go.

It was as she was unceremoniously pulled from one spot, through somewhere she didn't understand to be dropped in another place that the scream she had started at Dyvalis' touch had a chance to manifest.  However she cut it off quickly as she turns and it morphs into a gasp of pain from her injured foot as she  recognizes those around her as friends.

While Na-Wa defending 'her' knife is all well and good she quickly shakes her head at Keith, "By all means, keep it, but ah, do you have any bandages?"  her voice dropping as she manages to think through what she just heard Dyvalis say, and the sinking sensation of still being behind enemy lines, effectively naked to enemy gunfire settles in the pit of her stomach.

Re: C11 : The Dropship

Dyvalis reappears beside Na-Wa and Amy with Hopper (at this point the 3 of you are back outside, a little ways from 1st Squad). He quickly assesses their battle-readiness with an a manic look on his face. He breathes heavily, seeming almost high on power. He looks flush, as opposed to his usual pale complexion.

"Do you have all of your weapons and armor? Pvt. Yutani, where is your Dropship? I can get you inside if you think it'd be safe to take off, though it might be safer to wait until the Juggernauts are dispatched."

He waits for a quick report, hoping that despite them being useless prisoners to the defectors, they were at least attentive prisoners and might be able to provide some intel.

Re: C11 : The Dropship

Amy replies quickly, "Ah sir my dropship is in the lake, but it should still be airtight, if Na-Wa's pet is being behaved... and our equipment is or was right over there..." she looks to see where they were originally stripped to see if their belongings are still laying in the grass nearby or not, but hoping that it is still there to be had.  Its trouble getting powered armor that properly fits a tail.

OOC - The gear is above ground, right by the hole, and Hopper (and the Juggernaut that is/was talking to him).

Re: C11 : The Dropship

"Would only take Mage prisoner if was prepared to take extreme precautions in restraining him, youbet." replies 'Masque as the team starts to gather itself for transit, unslinging one of his bullpupped grenade launchers and exchanging the fragmentation-striped magazine for one marked with the lethal patterning of armour piercing, holding in a 'ready' position until Dyvalis transports him then dropping smoothly to one knee, covering one whole axis of approach with the barrel of his gun and two uncovered energy weapon projectors in his arms.

Aside from a glance back at the others and a murmured "Good to see you being well Amy, Na-wa.", he holds his position and covers the teams position against anyone and anything foolish enough to try and advance into his axis of fire.

Re: C11 : The Dropship

Amy breaths a sigh of relief as she sees her things are still there and without asking moves over to quickly begin suiting up, only limping a bit but feeling almost immeasurably better once she's behind its protective metal and ceramic protections.  "Thank you Silvermasque, I'm sorry if I gave you cause to worry."

Re: C11 : The Dropship

OOC - There seems to be confusion. Amy and Na-Wa's gear is still above ground by the entrance to the tunnel leading to this underground bunker of sorts. Hopper is here as well.

As Dyvalis reported, there are 6 Deevils and the two leaders of the traitors; Kitt and Dragana guarding the entrance.

Re: C11 : The Dropship

OOC -- To not belabor the acquisition of equipment, more trips, etc. Might we not say that it was noticed when I grabbed Hopper? I was right there, and there was like an exo-skeleton and all that. I would've been able to grab it if I knew it was there. Unless it was more tucked away somehow.

The other discrepancy seems to be the order of things. First, Amy and Na-Wa get pulled out. I brief the infiltration team (or 'rescue' team as they may be) outside. Then teleport Lotus & Keth in, then Silvermasque, then extract Hopper. As such the interactions between Keth and Na-Wa, and 'Masque and Amy, would all have been outside, near Nuitari's hover skiff.

OOC - seriously? You were brought underground, into room, down a hallway and put into a cell all made of dirt...

In reply to Moloch (msg #114):

OOC

Yes I am confused, Dyvalis has been teleporting around without a clutch and moving people from place to place.  From reading this it looks like Amy is outside with Hopper near where their gear was piled on the ground.  I just want to make sure that is correct.  But your very latest post indicates I'm back underground and I'm not sure when or how that would have happened.

Re: C11 : The Dropship

yeah that did sound pretty rude, sorry about that.

Dyvalis came out of nowhere and Amy and NaWa were suddenly back with 1st platoon. He went back and got Hopper and the gear, brought that back to. Then he sent the strike team underground.

Re: C11 : The Dropship

Amy gears up as quickly as she can, then in little limping steps she sticks close to Na-Wa,certainly not because she's become fond of him, or trusts him, no of course not, he's just comfortingly large and dangerous, and on her side.
