With the extent of the stuff he has here, I'd say yes. It took me a second to figure out what the numbers were, but when I did, I was surprised what he had here. How the heck did he get a Cubic Gate?

Anyways, if I remember correctly, Feff carried the Chests with the gold in it and other members of the party carried the rest to the place where we hid it on the trail. Then players started leaving and were NPC'd by BB. Did we keep what they carried?

To be fair, we'll say they at least had a suit of armor, a weapon and some coin (100gp each) and then went on their way...where ever that may have been.

Jewelry is half value when sold.

I wouldn't think jewelry would be that much less valuable - at that point, people would just be popping out the gems and melting down the settings. I would think at least 75%.

If it is 50%, I suggest we do just that - sell it as gems instead of jewelry.

Also, if the first spellbook disintegrated when he tried to identify it, Kilari would have tried to stop him from potentially disintegrating the second. They had looked similar so there was a high likelihood the other would disintegrate too...

Also, I believe Kilari has been to the Capital before, correct?

OK, we'll settle at 75% of Value for jewelry and you stop Thalan from trying to play with the 2nd book..I was just trying to FF the game a bit.

As for the Capital, yes, you've been there before when there was a fire there.

Thalan will buy everything from you, knowing full well that you'll be buying stuff back with him, so I'll add up the magical items and you'll have "Store Credit", so to speak. The treasure thread is just a list of what you all have. What you do with it is up to you.

The weapons with +X will be straight, unless it's +2. For Example, Weapons +1 will be magical +1 and +2 weapons will either be a +1 weapon with a +1 ability, or a straight +2 weapon. Anything beyond a "+2", you'll have to ask Thalan.

Feff already owns a pair of Gauntlets of Ogre Power.

Unless I am mistaken, we have 6 party members (Dain, Ayden, Sir Tomas, Feff, Baldric, Kilari) and if we put an equal share in the party treasure, we would divide that by 7. So we each should get 32,581 gold (1 gold, 3 silver left over - I'd stick in the party fund)


I suggest we keep the potions of water breathing (1,500), the immovable rod (2,500), and the unknown spellbook in the party treasure and that we buy the Bag of Holding 3 (7,500) and the Decanter of Endless Water (9,000) for the party treasure, using them for the benefit of the town (carry food, provide a truly clean source of water in case he plague is related to the drinking water). And a wand of "see invisibility" so that we can fight the ogre mage more reasonably (4,500) So that is 25,000 for party (town) items and that would leave 7,582 gold 3 silver for the party fund. Obviously, I would suggest we keep that in gem form instead of coin to reduce weight. We would also pay for the food from the party treasure, but that should be minor.


Does that seem reasonable to everyone?

I don't expect to go to the Capital now: Probably tomorrow in game - not today - I only memorized 2 today. I'll memorize 3 or so for tomorrow - bring a list of what is available, see what Feff and Sir Tomas want, then go to the Capital with whomever wishes to join both to see what is there and to get a second load of food, then here (if there is anything else to get) then back.
