An Aslan!  There's an Aslan.  Right there.

No, I'm not foaming at the mouth at all.  Why do you ask?

Stop grinning, Ty, and perhaps relate that news story?  I can't see anything, any way.  :p

Nah, ya didn't.

The Grinner:
With a chuckle, Tylen sits back in  his seat plays back the news extract across the ship's intercoms.  "Thought you might find that amusing, folks." he adds by way of commentary.

My stepson is visiting from the USA. So, for the next four weeks, RPoL visits will be sporadic, and posts may well be non-existent or even shorter than normal.

Bah!  A poor excuse.  He's actually coming to visit his mum.  Let her keep him entertained!

Okay.  Thanks for the heads-up.  Have fun showing him English stuff.  :)

Re: A particle physics joke...

*grin* Two solid days of the Historic Shipyards at Portsmouth today (along with lessons on playing AoE II).  Off to London for three days tomorrow.  Then a 17th Century re-enactment weekend, followed by camping in Cornwall and Wales before we are back home.

It is gonna be busy and fun - well I am going to enjoy it. :)

Been off for Canada Day, doing Canada Day things which amazingly did not require the consumption of enormous amounts of alcohol.

I think I'm alone in my city with regards to that.  :)

Ladies, gentlemen, sophonts of all gender designations, and robots of TL14 and above...

I am pleased to announce that the Spinward Traveller Kickstarter that I mentioned recently ( https://www.kickstarter.com/pr...d-traveller-tv-pilot ) has achieved its basic target with 11 days to go.

They're going to make a Traveller TV show.  All funds raised after this point just add to what they can afford to include.

The phrase "chuffed to bits" would adequately describe my feelings on this topic.

Re: A particle physics joke...

So, Shui's whole issue here is identical to my own.  I actually got really freaked out watching the episode of Babylon 5 where they fought a Shadow Vessel inside Jupiter, and the Galactica Episode where Starbuck fell into the gas giant (I think), I had to leave the room.

Actually getting a little freaked out by the descriptions.  Bleah.  ^_^

Could be worse.  It could be a gas giant which is home to really huge arachnids...

Spinward Traveller
just finished it's Kickstarter, having raised a total of $49,588 towards it's $30,000 goal.

Semi-hard Sci fi and Square-Cube law.  There's no way they would manage.  :)

Also, GM doubtful to put that in.  ^_^
