"We will do the job. But other then the head...nothing else we learn is to go to that male." Feryl states as she holds her Holy Symbol of Lolth without realizing it.

Re: Terrors of the Underdark

The party moves towards Donigarten, walking the width of Menzoberranzan to get there. Eventually, you come across the moss bed and mushroom field that indicates you have reached your destination, behind them, you see the lake that shares it's name with the area and in the distance, the isle of Rothe.

Re: Terrors of the Underdark

Mezreth sneezes loudly and grumbles; "I hate stink of rothe! Altough they taste good but they sure do stink!" Mezreth goes towards the Donigarten massive mushrooms and starts look around any odd tracks lefted by non-drows and any non-medium sized beings. Of course starting the search from the side which is towards the slaves quarters.

Re: Terrors of the Underdark

Kaxxar removes his twin rapiers from there sheaths. Let the hunt begin. The drow whispered to gain the groups attention before using the drow hand language. I’ll take to the shadows on your flank and have a look around. If you find any trace of the gnome I wont be to far away. With that Kaxxar moves carefully to the groups left flank and begins looking for any signs while doing his best to keep his presence unknown to any strangers.

Re: Terrors of the Underdark

Mezreth leads on, Drez covering the rear. There are plenty of slave tracks in the area as they are the ones who tend to do most of the harvesting, etc around here. As such, it is difficult to find anything out of the ordinary. Luckily, Mezreth is  an extremely adept tracker and finds a set of Halfling or possibly Gnome tracks heading towards the pole-boat dock where only the Orc shepherd-slaves were supposed to go.

Re: Terrors of the Underdark

Mezreth grumbles to his mistress (which is eguilevant for whisper for draegloth); "Small feeted tracks, either halfling or gnomes heading palce where only orcs should be working...grrr, suspicious. Had slaves got assistance for getting a boat I wonder? That makes tracking them down a challenge....." After saying that Mezreth leads and keeps the tracks so long what is possible to him on sight while keeping eye on the orc salves. Menancingly snarling any orc coming too near or going against on their route.

The Orc waiting at the dock carries a pole for propelling his ship across the lake to the Isle of Rothe. He looks miserable and leans heavily against his pole. He seems to notice you approach but does not raise his eyes to look at you.

Re: Terrors of the Underdark

Mezreth walks close to the humble looking orc dock slave calmly....and unwarned he suddenly graps onto orc's throat by one his figthing hands and lifts whole orc into mid air by his one hand! Mezreth pulls orc close to his feral/demonic face, so orc had no choice than look into Mezreth's burning eyes and he growls his question in Undercommon; "Have you seen anything odd recently, or has anything odd happened in the past tenday?"

[Private to GM: I asume I get surprise round to grapple the orc. Anycase I have not counted my size bonuses whit my grapple nor intimidate check. In both cases give +4 size bonus. Altough I SWEAR draegloths should have racial bonus to intimidate check but it seems Mezret have been behaved too well :P. Anycase Sense Motive is for detect lies (but it seems Mezreth haves good insticts).

15:14, Today: Secret Roll: Mezreth rolled 20 using 1d20+1. Sense Motive.
15:12, Today: Secret Roll: Mezreth rolled 7 using 1d20+4. Intimidate.

The Orc nods his head vigorously and makes an exaggerated look toward the Isle of Rothe. He looks about ready to soil his britches.
