Re: OOC

I find the best part of gaming is creating the characters. Gives me artistic fuel!

Re: OOC

I understand exactly what you mean Damion. It is a good thing we haven't been doing this one too much, because I have had SOOO much going on. From online school to getting prepared to move on from my current occupation. I am still working on options right now.

Has anyone ever played a paladin? That is one I have never played yet. What do you guys think of this class?

My favorite current character is my drow paladin of freedom.  I like the class.  :)

Re: OOC

I have a half-orc paladin of Tyr in another game I play on this site... Its a weird race/class combo but excellent roleply opportunities. :P

Yeah, that paladin is my current favorite character, too.  :-)

Re: OOC

ICK! Paladins. I don't have it in my to play completely straight and narrow. I'm sure they aren't always that way but I prefer a character with a bit more moral leeway. Damion is tough enough being a priest of good and all.

Re: OOC

Paladins are a whole barrel of fun.  Even the straight class right off the page is a good solid class that can be a real pleasure to play.  I look to my favorute part in the BoED when playing my Paladins - What is good?

Every action must be judged, and I normally treat it like the God itself is watching the character make the choice.  If it fails to uphold the Gods principles, then it fails and the God retracts their power from them.  If they suceed they retain their abilities and get a bit of a fleeting divine smile.

Soooo, not to be pushy or anything but should we start looking for a new DM or move on to other games?

I created my character for the winterlands/the North. I will keep my lips sealed until others make their statements. I don't have any info on anything, since I just started.

Hey all, I think if we can't find a DM for this region soon I'm going to be moving Damion on to another region if it's ok with the DM's. I hate to see a fun character sit idle.

Re: OOC

Sorry, no luck in finding a DM to take over, after all.  There is, however, a new region starting up soon, where the DM have agreed to take on transfers from here before advertising for new ones.  So, for those of you who are thinking about leaving, DM Raconteur will be starting his Lantan-region soon.  I'll post more information here as soon as possible, or you can PM him in the OOC area, if you'd like.

[Private to Damion Forrester:  I think DM Jim is looking for a cleric in his Sembia-region, so you might also want to check that one out.]

I'm as of yet undecided on if I'll be moving Iodaem or not - Lantan is one of those areas that I have next to no knowledge about, heh.  :p

Re: OOC

Well, Authiel and Iodaem have been offered spots in another region, so we'll be moving on, as well.

[Private to Kalmir:  If you weren't already playing Tomas there, you could have moved Kalmir to Icewind Dale, I'm sure he and Ceithern would get along fine, heh!  :D  Swords > Axes.  ;-) Except for critical hits.  :p]

Re: OOC

We will seek a new DM for you guys. Please hold on.

In the mean-time, can I please have role-call of everyone who's still in this game and interested.

I also suggest you consider relocating to one of our other games that are open and active.

Re: OOC

Autiel and Iodaem have moved to the Underdark, Kalmir to the Southeast, and Damion to Sembia.  Chepzur might still be around, though.
