Mapping solution

Anyone out there in rpol land have advice for how to handle mapping? I've tried via picture sharing sites but this seems cumbersome. Looking for a free solution as well. Advice is appreciated.

Re: Mapping solution

For a simple combat map, you can do it up using text in notepad (or something similar) and then copy paste it surrounded by "tt" and "/tt" (both in <> of course)...

Re: Mapping solution

Google docs spreadsheets.

Not pretty. But super fast, flexible and free.

For tactical maps, at least.

Re: Mapping solution

Provided you have the background pictures, Google Draw is a decent choice for mapping. Although as a tactical option, I second the idea of using a Google spreadsheet. It doesn't look as pretty, but it's very effective.

Re: Mapping solution

If you are sharing on google docs (drive)...

and you have enough creative time on minecraft...

Make your map on minecraft, do a screenshot, save it to googledrive and then share it with everyone =).

Re: Mapping solution

I've started wondering what a map would look like on Prezi.
You can zoom in to the areas that have detailed maps created.
