Yes, you'd probably be better off having someone there with you that you know and trust - but that's not always possible or practical. And not everyone is Picard who can 'make it so'. :-)

I suggest looking in to one of those services, ask the people at the local hospital about them. They usually have a list of them that could help.

Your best bet is going to be to explain the situation to the doctor and see what options are available. I would think any that care about their patient's health would be able to have some resources for such things. And I could be wrong. In your area, private ambulances might do what jdtucker suggested, but still... explain the situation to your doctor and see what they have available is going to be the best way, I think. I hope it can get sorted out and you get the care you need!

Had one last year, not sure I would consider it without drugs...I don't think it would extraordinarily painful, but definitely uncomfortable. Will they let you stay at the hospital until the anaesthetic has worn off?

There are now five, five, I tell you, parakeets. Adorable little birds that make beautiful, ear screeching, brain piercing chimpanzee howls. They are beautiful little birds, truly. But they make my work-from-home time unbearable.

Something about the cookies being different. One thing I have found fixes it when I am on my desktop and I get the neverending new message alerts is to log into the old RPoL and 'mark all as read' then pop back over to the responsive site ... for some reason doing that on the old site really marks the messages as read (as opposed to marking them read on the R.RPol site).

I don't think the constant message indicator has anything to do with cookies in this case. It's just that the thread in question is seeing a lot of traffic. :)

You can also create a custom theme if you want, one that better fits your own requirements.

For me I'd prefer a rewind button. Regrets, I have (more than) a few... |
