I know that feeling, loosing connections with people online. I was in an accident a few years ago and could not get online for a couple months, came back and everyone I chatted or gamed with was just Gone.
In short you want to chat, send me an Rmail, I will respond.

Eggy, at the point that she decided to take advantage of you, I would have told her that I was writing the note so she could send you HER insurance info for the damage her door or tale gate caused your car. What you did was admirable and right. What she did was scum sucking wrong.

Ranger weapons ? I know of some that use axes, clubs, maces and one who used Karate (We were running an Oriental - Standard AD&D cross over for that one).
Swords and Bows are just the common stereotype.

Or shoot a foe from nearly a mile away with the accuracy of forty feet and make it a headshot almost every time. Scimitars are nice though. I'll admit. I like to step it up to great scimitars, but that's splitting hairs. I also like hammer and axe though...

If you Rmail me I'll almost guarantee a reply. I'll keep writing as long as there's someone to read and write back. My favorite thing to do is just chat, and rehash the "good"...times, games, or activities. I'm on RPOL to be a batter writer. The more chances I get, the better. I really love the people though.

It turns out that there was a required phrase within the rules thread which I missed. I missed it because it was after a sentence which stated "that's about all there is" followed by a few more sentences which I assumed were not of any significant importance. My fault, I know, but it's frustrating nonetheless. C'est la vie.

Ah yes.. the classic frivolous and trivial error-detection game.. *sigh... Annoying. One thing to pass-over someone who does not make even the remotest of efforts to actually apply - but, top 2 percentile? please...

They are like Bot checks, I really don't see the point to them. I have applied to those sort of games before, even including the pet phrases, and been skipped over with no response to my application to boot (which I think is just rude, personally).
Are there Bots who play this sort of RPGs ?

member, 63 posts Wed 28 Oct 2015 at 12:12 | GRRRrrrCar has been running fine up will last night. I move the car and notice there was the tiniest of "hickups" as it was turning over. This morning, dark, rainy, and kinda cold My car decided to not even turn over. A couple of clicks and nothing. Pop the hood to move second car (LeSabre) to give it a jump to learn that you need LONG cables as the battery in under the back seat, thus no way to jump from.
So I check the battery as I know I have a battery charger somewhere. 8 years old. Car is parked in the street, nearly 100 feet from the nearest outlet. I have to string two extension cords together, in the rain, hope that the moisture does not get in. Charge it for a few hours to see if I can get it to the shop to have alternator checked. Waiting on shop to open, chances are they will have no openings today.....

It seems to be the time for that, but your lucky. Step dad last night on way home, alternator went out As he was driving, had to coast in to a store (it was closed) half way between home and the next city over. No other places near by, took over an hour for the tow truck to find him (they drove right past the place the first time, which is bad as it is the Only store there and its in an Open field area Near a traffic light. Makes me wonder about the quality of the tow services AAA covers sometimes.)

I will admit, I had no idea that Astroturf did that to hair. Is it some sort of chemical it gives off? Or are you rubbing your head against it somehow? Or... I honestly don't know. It just surprises me to hear that the type of ground can have an effect on your hair.

member, 635 posts Wed 28 Oct 2015 at 23:35 | GRRRrrrIt's not the chemicals, it's just the shape of the fake blades of grass. They're like little plastic hooks that snag my hair. We go out there for situps and other ground exercises. I'm just grumpy about it right now.

But now that I've vented, I can get on with my task.
