#1. I foolishly let my car battery die. Jumper cables in other vehicle. Some distance away from regular assistance. A lady heard me tell the news to spouse (who didn't give me a cold prickly). She offered to jump-start us. And she did in the cold and rain.

Nice! In general, as long as it doesn't require too much of a sacrifice, most people I've found are nice like that.
