RIP Louie Anderson....
I loved his 80's and 90's stand up. I think Louie was an inspiration to John Pinette, whom I miss dearly too. I watched a video with him doing stand up...I almost said this year, but mid year last year (IIRC). Talking about his father and brother and mother. It was funny, even if a bit sad. He had...a way of conveying a joke that wasn't embellished yet still hit like mortar, that delay of thought process and then the realization and finally the uproaring laughter. Not all his comedy was like that, some just shot you like a machine gun, hitting you one after another so your ribs hurt, or mine at least, and you can't even stand up.
He was one of the few I loved to hear whine. He had the opposite whine effect of Gilbert Godfrey's stage voice. ;) I could listen to him whine for hours.
RIP thanks for all the laughs.
